Maple leaf shaped candy for 320 yen each, with options like Kyoto red and regular red. The orange flavor tasted more like sugar than actual orange, with no sourness. They also had unique flavors like mojito and raspberry chocolate, which may not be appealing to kids. Despite that, the candies were small and easy to finish in one bite, which was great.

I visited a candy shop inside Kyoto Tower Sand for takeout. They accept PayPay. I bought Aoi no Kariginu / Muscat flavor (345 yen) and Egret / Acerola flavor (345 yen) candies. If you buy two candies, you can get a free box to put them in. I had them put in an orange box \(^o^)/ Both flavors were quite gentle, so as someone used to stronger flavors, I found them a bit lacking. But the box and candies are really cute and beautiful, so they are great for souvenirs since they don't take up much space. ♡

I also bought souvenirs inside the Tower Sand. The shop here has a lineup of cute designed sweets. I bought some for my adorable niece and also got one for myself. With a purchase of over 1000 yen, I received over 600 yen worth of Kinpato as a limited-time service! Thank you very much!

I went to buy souvenirs on my way back. There were colorful and cute candies lined up in a case. Hmm, which one should I choose? They all look colorful and detailed despite being small. I thought the White Silk Temari was cute and wanted to buy it, but they didn't have the small size I was looking for. The staff mentioned that there is a store at Isetan where they might have it, as the lineup of candies is different there. I decided to buy the ones that caught my eye here and then go to Isetan. I bought Ginnezumi (Sweet Potato flavor) and Kyoharugasumi (Peach Yogurt flavor) for 360 yen each. I was surprised that the Sweet Potato flavor really tasted like sweet potato when I tried it. The candies come in various flavors, look cute, have creative names, and are great for souvenirs. They have a long shelf life since they are candies. The smaller size called "hina" is also cute. You can put 2 or 3 of them in a box, and they even suggested that I could prepare the box here and set it at Isetan. They were very kind and helpful. The larger size, which is about three times the amount of candy, comes in a tray, and that was also cute.

Kyoto ame with a distinctive shape, featuring various flavors like shortcake, melon soda, lemon lime, and raspberry. The modern twist on traditional Kyoto ame is like finding a gem, with flavors so beautiful you can't help but stop and try them. I sampled the sangria flavor and couldn't resist buying rose tea, lychee, and passion fruit flavors as gifts for friends. It's exciting to discover new Kyoto souvenirs like these. This is fun.

I dropped by a shop and the staff recommended me to try some samples. I was drawn to the colorful and cute appearance, so I bought them as souvenirs. When I gave them to an acquaintance, they said, "It's so Kyoto-like (☆∀☆)" and were delighted. I regretted not buying some for myself when I got home.

Recently, there was crochet candy featured on a certain actress's Instagram. The candy, made by an old candy shop, comes in various colors and is beautifully packaged. The box is free, but you can pay for Mizuhiki (decorative Japanese cord) and gift wrapping. If you choose two of the larger candies, you can select a box from white, red, blue, and green, and I chose green. There are also boxes for three candies and small sizes. There are various flavors available as well. It's a great choice for a small gift that shows off your sense of style.

I visited in May 2017. The location is on the 1st floor of Kyoto Tower. A colorful candy shop has arrived at Kyoto Tower. There are many varieties, but I chose the most popular lemon-lime flavored candy for 345 yen. Just looking at it is fun, and the pattern of the traditional Japanese temari candy is perfect for a Kyoto souvenir. The price is reasonable, you don't have to worry too much about the expiration date, it's not heavy, it's small, and I think it will be appreciated. I tried it right away, and it had a refreshing taste and was delicious. I recommend it.

I had never seen such colorful candies before. The other day, when I was walking around the souvenir shops under Kyoto Tower, I found this display. The candies looked vibrant and the flavors were varied. I'm not sure if they are typical of Kyoto, but I think they would make great souvenirs for women and tourists.
