This bakery, located deep in an alley, truly embodies the essence of Kyoto. When it's open, a sign is placed outside on the street. Be mindful of their lunch break. When you slide open the creaky glass door, you are greeted by a showcase filled with bread. It's quite interesting. I bought a French onion bread, and the aroma of onions was appetizing. Thank you for the meal.

I bought a chocolate banana bread roll. After letting it sit for a while, I reheated it and ate it. The bread had a crispy texture like a Danish pastry. I was expecting more of a banana flavor, so I felt a little bit unsatisfied, but it was still delicious.

I visited the Panda Yori Nodoka bakery, where I bought bacon and cheese for ¥200, figs and macadamia nuts for ¥380, butter bean paste for ¥200, and natural yeast bread for ¥250. I arrived after 13:30, but the shop was closed. Luckily, the owner came out and opened the shop for me. The bread was delicate and well-baked, and I had the opportunity to talk to the owner. The bread in the showcase made me exclaim in amazement. Overall, the bread was delicious and well-made. I recommend this shop, but suggest checking their business hours before visiting.

Panda Bakery offers a variety of beautifully crafted breads with panda illustrations on them. They have a selection of breads with fillings like peel, tea-infused, and not overly oily bacon and cheese. The Kouign-Amann has a crispy outer layer with hints of black tea and lemon peel, while the cheese and bacon bread surprises with its light and smoky flavors. The bread itself is crunchy, and the cheese is not too heavy. Overall, the natural and delicious flavors of the bread make it a must-try. I would definitely go back for more!

The narrow alley can be hard to find, but it's right north of Nijo Castle. The shop is located on the first floor of a lovely traditional townhouse. I used to visit their previous location, but this was my first time at the new shop. They continue to make delicious bread with great care. I love their hamburger and red bean butter bread! I always end up buying the same thing. Thank you for the delicious meal. I'll definitely visit again, perhaps during a cycling trip.

I purchased the bread from the select shop on the 7th floor of Marui. I fell in love with the cute panda packaging design. It is sliced into 4 pieces, with one piece being a small size just a little smaller than the palm of my hand, perfect for breakfast. It is made with "natural yeast," and I liked the gentle flavor and crispy, chewy texture. I would like to visit the store next time. 😊

I asked someone and went to buy morning bread. I found a white sign that I don't usually pass by. There's a panda there. There's an alley. Is it back there...? There was a glass-fronted shop. You can't tell until you get right in front of it. The space to choose bread is quite narrow. I bought milk bread, black tea, sweet bean, corn, hamburger, sausage, etc. It feels like there are many hard types like French bread dough. They are all delicious. You can see the dedication (especially the sausage is delicious). There's a panda in the shop... It's a nice feeling. I want to eat it again. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that the bakery had moved, so I decided to take a look. It's tucked away in a narrow alley now, and although the store seems smaller, the bread is still lined up neatly. I can't remember the name, but I bought five breads for 1048 yen. I had visited the previous location a few times, and the taste remains delicious as always. It seems they have moved to a more atmospheric location, but personally, I find it a bit harder to visit now.
