I went to look for 5 Ajari mochi in front of the Shinkansen entrance in April 2023, but the individually wrapped ones were sold out, so I gave up. However, I was lucky because they were selling them at the souvenir shop inside the ticket gate. Five pieces are just right for when you want a little snack. They go well with coffee, tea, or milk. The chewy texture of the mochi is irresistible!

During my trip to Kyoto, I bought Adzuki bean paste mochi. I thought the expiration date would be very short, but I was mistaken. I tried it again after a long time, and it had a gentle flavor and was very delicious. I think it should become more popular as a Kyoto specialty.

It's a souvenir from my family. It's been a while since I've had it, but starting this week, there will be a Kyoto exhibition at the nearby Isetan department store...lol. Ajari mochi...you can easily buy it. But when I tried it...it's delicious. I gratefully enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal. What I ate: Ajari mochi *Price unknown as it was purchased by family members.

I am the director of BODYPITKYOTO, Shinichi Fujisaki. When it comes to delicious Japanese sweets, nothing beats Ajari mochi. I have loved this sweet since I was a child. The chewy texture, the sweet red bean paste - it is the ultimate Japanese sweet. It has always been my favorite. Thank you very much.

I love Ajisai mochi!! I had it for takeout. The Ajisai mochi is always reliable. Before COVID, I often saw it sold out, but now even in the evening, there were still some left. The skin is soft and gentle, and the moderately sweet red bean paste and mochi inside are luxurious! It's such an elegant Japanese sweet. I love it!

I was asked to buy Ajari mochi. It goes well with coffee, milk, juice, and Japanese sake. It seems to have become popular nationwide without me knowing. I wonder if there is a hidden obsession with the mochi part. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. DQ brand workwear.

You can buy souvenirs from Ajari Mochi Honpo Mangetsu at Kyoto Station. Ajari mochi is a classic, but delicious treat. The Ajari mochi, shaped like an Ajari's hat, has a unique and tasty chewy skin. It is said to have a rich egg flavor and actual mochi inside the dough. Ajari mochi 5-piece set costs 604 yen.

This is the final line of purchasing souvenirs before leaving Kyoto. My daughter requested it, and I love it too - Ajari mochi. Normally, I would buy it at Isetan, but this time, after visiting Toji Temple, I took a taxi to Hachijo-guchi, so going to the other side of the station to Isetan seemed troublesome! Due to the influence of the coronavirus, the number of tourists in Kyoto has decreased, so I wondered if I could buy it at the shop inside the Shinkansen ticket gate without going to Isetan. And indeed, they had it. It was a bit late, so I was worried if they would still have some left, but luckily they did. This taste is addictive, you know. The refined yet assertive sweet bean paste wrapped in a thin layer of mochi. When you take a bite, you experience the softness in the beginning and a slight resistance at the end. Ah, I can't stop eating this. Every time I go to Kyoto, I end up buying it. If I hadn't found it here, I would have missed out on buying it. In addition to the final souvenir shopping spree, I also made sure to buy canned beer before boarding the Shinkansen.

Ajari mochi is a perfect choice for a gift as it comes in individual packaging. The texture is chewy with sweet red bean paste filling, not too sweet and delicious. It's like a traditional Japanese sweet and can last for a while. It's easy to find in Kyoto, even in department store basements.

The skin is moist, with a hint of sweetness and a unique texture. The filling has a refined sweetness. It is so light that you might find yourself reaching for a second one without realizing it, but it has a dignified quality that makes you feel embarrassed about reaching for another. It seems like the voice of the Ajari mochi is saying, "I want you to savor each bite carefully with a cup of tea." It was delicious.

In Kyoto, there are many delicious traditional Japanese sweets, but my favorite is the Adzuki Bean Cake. This sweet has a long history, first sold in 1922, and its unique mochi texture is just amazing. Inside the mochi, there is plenty of Tamba Dainagon red bean paste, which is incredibly delicious. I bought it at JR Kyoto Station this time, but in Osaka, you can find it at Hankyu Umeda, Takashimaya, Daimaru Umeda, and Abeno Harukas. In Tokyo, it's available at Takashimaya Nihonbashi, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi, Isetan Shinjuku, and Seibu Ikebukuro. In Yokohama, you can find it at Takashimaya, and in Nagoya, it's available at JR Nagoya Takashimaya and Matsuzakaya.

I didn't even realize there was a store registration (lol). It's located inside Kyoto Station on the Shinkansen platform. I really like the Ajari mochi here. The "Ajari mochi" 5-piece set is 540 yen. You can buy it in Nagoya too, but in Kyoto, it's fresh with no expiration date, so it's soft and delicious. Freshness is important for living things after all.

When it comes to souvenirs from Kyoto, the most famous ones are the Nama Yatsuhashi and Kyoto Baum, which are popular among school trip students. However, regardless of age group, the most popular item is the Ajari Mochi. It is known for its soft and chewy texture, with a refined sweetness from the red bean paste filling. It tends to sell out quickly at department store food halls, with long lines forming daily. The only downside is its short shelf life of 5 days. It is recommended to buy the 5, 10, 15, or 20 piece packs depending on the number of people you are gifting it to. It may be easier to purchase here than at the department store food hall, as it is less crowded.

I had never eaten this famous sweet before, but I have had a similar famous confection in Hiroshima. I can't remember the name, but I love it. I enjoyed it with coffee. It has a unique chewy texture. It does resemble the one from Hiroshima. This one seems to be stickier. It is small, so you could eat it in one bite, but I decided to savor it slowly. It is not too sweet, and it is a refined sweet treat. Thank you for the meal.

When it comes to souvenirs from Kyoto, I always thought of Yatsuhashi. But when a friend mentioned Ajarimochi, I was intrigued. I searched online and found out that I could buy Ajarimochi at a souvenir shop outside the ticket gates at Kyoto Station, so I bought some on my way back. I had never heard of Ajarimochi until recently, but it seems to be a traditional confection with a long history dating back to 1856 according to the Mamefuku website. When I tried it at home, I found a thin outer layer with a mochi-like texture inside, filled with sweet red bean paste. The red bean paste was delicious, and when I ate all three layers together, it was a truly delightful treat. I also tried warming it up in the microwave for a few seconds, and it became even more delicious. It enhanced the flavors and made the treat even more enjoyable. Thank you for the delicious treat.

I stopped by the selection of famous sweets at Takashimaya and ended up buying Ajari Mochi. The design of the bag was lovely, and it brought back nostalgic memories. The chewy skin and delicious taste are loved by everyone. I hope to try it freshly baked at the main store someday. I look forward to the end of the pandemic so I can go to Kyoto to enjoy delicious food. Thank you for the meal.

I heard that warming up and then grilling Ajamoji mochi in the microwave makes it really delicious. I tried it as a souvenir from work, and it was true! The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy. It was a unique and delightful treat. It's a great gift that will surely be appreciated!

Today, how many meals did you eat? Hello, this is Okahiro! ◎ Ajari Mochi 5 pieces ¥604. No matter how many times you eat it, Ajari Mochi is delicious. I'm not a fan of red bean paste, but Ajari Mochi is a different story. Every time I visit Kyoto, I buy it. This time, I was very satisfied.
