Located just outside the East Gate of Ritsumeikan University is a Nepalese and Indian curry restaurant. It seems to be a sister store of MAHA, situated between Motonaka and Kyoto University's private library. The interior is chic and cozy, with a cafe-like atmosphere for an Indian restaurant. What stands out the most is the high cost performance. In a city where it is rare to find Indian restaurants at a special low price, the lunch set for 590 yen is quite unusual. The curry has a balanced flavor with a moderate amount of spices, and you can choose the level of spiciness to suit your taste. The naan bread, although well baked in the tandoor oven, gives the impression of being a bit hard. The tandoori chicken has a great flavor, aroma, and texture, making it juicy and very delicious. You can order it by the piece, which I highly recommend. The dinner set prices are also reasonable, so I would like to try various types of curry. Many eateries around the school are closed on Sundays, making it a pleasant surprise that this restaurant is open on Sundays.
