Today, I thought about ramen and beer under the scorching sun. I found some free time and decided to come to this restaurant. The inside is nice and cool. I ordered the set menu with ramen, rice, fried chicken, and beer. The fried chicken was delicious, just as the reviews said. This place has good value for the price and always satisfies me. The staff members are young and full of energy, and they always make me feel happy.

I have been to this ramen shop a few times and always had a good impression. I recently visited after a long time and found that the staff were young and lively. As someone who just finished a night shift, the ramen for dinner was rich and delicious, and the gyoza was also tasty. It goes well with beer and the cost performance is good, so I feel like coming back again casually.

This is Ramen Bouho's Hachijo branch. I have been to the Nijo Ohashi branch before, but this was my first time visiting the Hachijo branch. I visited around 5 pm on a weekday. It was still early for dinner, but there were a few customers in the shop. The shop used to be Marugyu before. It is easy to spot with its white tent roof and red lantern. There is a parking lot next to the shop, which can accommodate a few cars. The interior is spacious, with counter seats and table seats. There was a slight pork bone smell even before entering the shop. Two young male staff members were managing the shop, providing friendly service. The menu offers four types of ramen: chicken and pork bone, black soy sauce, spicy, and salt white soup. The prices vary depending on toppings and sizes. There is also a wide selection of side dishes and combo meal options. On this day, I ordered the Chicken and Pork Bone Chashu Noodles for 950 yen. The ramen arrived with a cloudy soup with floating lard, and the surface was a bit oily. It was topped with plenty of chashu and green onions. The soup had a strong chicken and pork bone flavor but surprisingly light. The aftertaste had a mild sweetness from the lard, creating a smooth and mellow taste. The pork bone flavor was more prominent than the chicken flavor. It was light but not lacking in flavor, with a well-balanced and high-quality soup. The noodles were low-water thin straight noodles, providing a firm and satisfying texture. When combined with the crunchy green onions, it offered a delightful texture contrast. The chashu was slightly rare, thinly sliced with a focus on lean meat that oozed with pork umami with each bite. It was tender, not too fatty, and generous in portion, leaving a feeling of fullness. It was a long time since I had Ramen Bouho's Chicken and Pork Bone Ramen. Despite being light, its flavorful broth would appeal to many. I would like to try other menu items as well, so I hope to revisit if I have the chance.

After eating dumplings, I visited this place for a finishing touch. The entrance door is a sliding type that opens and closes horizontally, but it's hard to open... I sat at the counter seat. I ordered chicken and pork bone ramen. It came out in about 5 minutes. It looks like a pork bone soy sauce ramen with floating lard. When I drank the soup, it was salty! High in salt! I couldn't taste the richness, umami, or sweetness of the soup, just the saltiness... The noodles are thin straight noodles, and the toppings are thinly sliced chashu. It was difficult to eat until the end because it was too salty.

I had the chicken and pork bone ramen with extra noodles. At first, I thought it was a bit light, but then I could faintly smell the chicken and pork bone, and it was actually quite delicious. Maybe it was because of the extra noodles. Towards the end, it became very salty. The chicken chashu was a bit thin, but tender, although the saltiness was more overpowering than the chicken or pork flavors. In terms of cost performance, if it's close to home, I might go again.

I had been curious about this ramen shop since it opened! My wife and I had the ramen we wanted to try! The limited edition Kyoto Black ramen at the Hachijo shop! I had the Black Soy Sauce Ramen with extra chashu, while my wife had the regular Black Soy Sauce Ramen. It has a dark color but isn't spicy or too rich! It's delicious! I also like the spring onion-like negi (*^ω^*) The famous fried chicken! The coating is thin but the flavor is strong! Next time, I'll try the Chicken and Pork Bone Ramen! Thank you for the meal! (・ω・) This is Ramen Boho-san. Oh? This place seems familiar. Upon investigation, it turns out to be a takeover property from Marugyu-san. щ(>ω<;щ) Really!? Did Marugyu-san close down? Their soup was truly one-of-a-kind... I wanted to have it one more time. Anyway, I tried Boho-san's light chicken and pork bone ramen. Despite being a fan of rich flavors, I went for something light this time. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed the smell of pork bone broth. My excitement rose. The ramen that arrived had a light finish and looked delicious. Upon tasting it... (゚д゚) Delicious, this light yet flavorful broth is amazing. Although light, the soup has a strong base, somewhat similar to the now-closed Akai Noren. This could definitely handle extra noodles. The fried chicken was also tasty. The fact that it came with mayonnaise was a nice touch. The prices are reasonable and they're really putting in effort. Overall, it was a great restaurant. Thank you for the meal. #PorkBoneRamen #LightRamen #FriedChicken #ChickenPorkBoneRamen #RamenClub #RamenLife #ConnectWithRamenLovers #Noodlestagram #FoodPorn #Foodstagram #KyotoCity

In search of delicious flavors, I ventured to a clean restaurant with a parking lot. It was my first time, so I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen. The fried chicken also looked delicious. Unfortunately, there were quite a noisy family dining nearby. I prefer to eat in a quiet environment. However, another family that arrived later was very quiet. The flavors were light and delicious, and the fried chicken was crispy and tasty. It felt like something was missing though. If asked if I would go back, well, I'm not sure.

I was recommended by an acquaintance that the fried chicken here is delicious, so I ordered the fried chicken set. The ramen was delicious. But the fried chicken... was it not drained of oil? It was so greasy, even visible in the photo. It was the worst. Maybe it was just a one-time thing.

[Date] October 10, 2022, 7:02 PM [Food Score] 3.09 [Waiting Time] None, 3 people inside [Service] Excellent [Will Visit Again] Yes [Payment Method] PayPay [Turnover] Yes Specialty at Hachijo Store: Black Soy Sauce Ramen (with pork chashu, white chopped green onions) [Ramen] [Noodles] Medium-thin straight noodles [Toppings] Pork chashu (3 slices), white chopped green onions [Soup] Black [Serving Time] 4 minutes The noodles were firm and soaked up the soup nicely. The soup had a sharp soy sauce flavor with a rich taste. Extra green onions were available for free, and I selected the special Yanninjan for flavor variation. There were fewer green onions than expected, but the Yanninjan for flavor change was good. The large-sized (coarse) back oil was just the right size and on the lighter side. It was delicious!

For lunch, I had the "Special Black Soy Sauce Ramen" and "Bonbo Don" set meal at Ramen no Bouho Hachijo-ten. The special ramen had double the chashu and seasoned egg, with a Kyoto black ramen broth base. The sliced chashu soaked in the soup was delicious, and the thin noodles absorbed the flavors well. The Bonbo Don was a lightly seared chashu rice bowl, which was also tasty. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

Here, it's Ramen Bo Ho-san! It's a new ramen shop that opened recently. They have a display of old-fashioned candies inside the store to create a nostalgic atmosphere, but unfortunately, they don't have a nostalgic soy sauce ramen like night-crying soba. It's a shame. They offer Kyushu-style thin noodles with the option to choose the firmness, but the soup is a super salty pork bone broth that doesn't match well with the noodles. Additionally, the chashu meat is made of chicken, so it lacks the desired texture. It's a new sensation...or is it? No, it's just wrong!

Ramen BoHo is a place I visited a while back and I remember it being delicious. They opened a branch in Nishioji, but I finally got around to visiting. I can't remember what type of ramen they serve at the main store, so my companion and I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen, salt shio broth, extra noodles, and lots of green onions. We also got the rice bowl and fried chicken set meal with firm noodles. The ramen that came out had thin noodles that mixed well with the soup, and the salt shio broth was surprisingly flavorful. The chashu was juicy and tasty, and I definitely want to try the black soy sauce ramen that is exclusive to the Hachijo store next time. What surprised me the most was the quality of the food at such a low price! The regular size was only 650 yen, and kids under elementary school age eat ramen for free. Can you believe it? How do they make a profit? The restaurant had a cozy seating area in the back, and it seemed child-friendly. They also have a parking lot, which is convenient (although there was a short wait for parking even when the restaurant was not crowded). I'll definitely be back to try the black soy sauce ramen at the Hachijo store. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I went at night. It seems to have opened after the previous ramen shop. When I entered the store, it was a beautiful and bright place. I sat at the counter seat and looked at the menu. There were three types of ramen: chicken and pork bone, salt, and garlic. I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen. I received the garlic and yangnyeom separately in a dish, it's free. While waiting for the ramen, I looked at the menu and saw various single items and set menus, including some good deals. There were also mini sizes available for alcohol and snacks. The ramen arrived. It looked like tonkotsu ramen, but it was a gentle pork bone ramen that was not too thick and easy to eat. About halfway through, I added the garlic for a change in flavor. The punch of the yangnyeom added a nice spiciness. It was an easy-to-eat ramen.

I happened to walk by and decided to stop by this ramen shop. The greeting was a bit lackluster for a ramen place, but it was fine with a casual "irasshaimase." I ordered the chicken and pork bone ramen, which had a light yet flavorful taste, and the chashu was delicious. Surprisingly, the fried chicken was also tasty. The bonito rice bowl might not be for those who dislike mayonnaise. Overall, the food was delicious so I will definitely come back again!

Ramen shop located along the Yoshimine Temple and Hachijo Street. There are also shops in Shichijo and Senju, maybe there were three shops here? It was finally visited after knowing that it was opened in the former Marugyu-san, which I loved. Visited before 6 pm on a weekday, with about 1/3 of the customers inside. The interior of the store is decorated with dagashi, creating a Showa era atmosphere. Sat at the counter near the entrance, looked at the menu. There are about four types of ramen, set meals that can be ordered with ramen, and side dishes. The limited menu at the Hachijo store also caught my attention, but for now, I ordered the "Chicken and Pork Bone Ramen" at the top of the menu with "Chashu Noodles". The dish arrived fairly quickly in about 5 minutes! The bowl was filled with beautifully arranged pale pink chashu petals! In the center, there was a pile of white onions. I took a sip of the soup that was faintly oozing out from between the chashu. The soup, which tastes a bit salty, gives the impression that the pork bones are stronger than the chicken. The soup is light with no thickness, but the addition of lard adds richness. The soup has a strong umami flavor with depth. The noodles were ordered firm. They were thin straight noodles with a chewy texture and a strong wheat flavor. The thinly sliced chashu was cooked rare, with plenty of fatty meat! There was an overwhelming amount of chashu in the chashu noodles, so it was very satisfying! Despite being fatty, the chashu was delicious and not too heavy, making it quite easy to eat. The white onions had a firm texture and a slightly strong onion smell, which is unusual in Kyoto. I think the Chashu Noodles offer great value for money! Overall, it was a delicious ramen with a well-balanced taste! Thank you for the meal! ● Chicken and Pork Bone Chashu Noodles 850 yen

I visited "Ramen no Bo Ho" located just a few minutes walk from Nishioji Station in Kyoto city. This restaurant opened in August this year and is the third store in the group. Despite being a new store, it has a retro atmosphere that feels cozy. As it was my first visit, I ordered the "Chicken Pork Bone Ramen" with extra chashu on the top left of the menu. The bowl arrived in about 20 minutes, with a clear chicken and pork broth that had a sharp seasoning, creating a delicious taste. Although I usually refrain from eating rice, I believe this ramen would go well with a bowl of white rice. The thinly sliced chashu, which is rare roast pork, was tender and juicy, making it enjoyable to eat. The thin straight noodles had a nice firm texture, and the spicy white leeks paired well with them. Although I refrained from adding any today, I think the free garlic and yangnyeomjang would also complement the dish. It's convenient that all menu items have the same price, making it easy to understand. This was my 373rd bowl of ramen this year.

I visited the third store of the Bonbo ramen chain. I ordered their famous "Chicken and Pork Bone Ramen", which is perfect for when you're tired with its salty flavor. I like the noodles on the firmer side and extra green onions. I also got the Bonbo Bowl set with fried chicken (450 yen). The ramen broth is rich and flavorful with a punch. The Bonbo Bowl has seared meat with great texture and seasoning that goes well with the ramen. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy, a classic dish at a ramen shop. Everything has a strong flavor but no off-putting taste, very delicious! They serve tea instead of water, which adds to the dining experience. The ramen is priced at 650 yen, quite reasonable for the quality. They also have a great selection of drinks. I definitely want to come back to this place regularly.
