This time, I was worried because my family are all heavy drinkers and very particular about taste, but we ordered Hamaguri, Agi, Squid, Kalbi, our first time trying hormone, Tonpeiyaki with cheese, and salt yakisoba at Tepppei. Everyone is satisfied and relieved. I love food and go to all kinds of places from high-end S-class restaurants to street food, but places like Tepppei are where I can relax and enjoy myself.

Yesterday, I went to Teppei's and enjoyed some drinks while snacking. I started with some large clams, which were delicious! Then I tried the grilled jaw meat, which was a great combination with cabbage. I also had the teppanyaki shrimp, which came with cabbage as well. The teppanyaki here always comes with cabbage. And of course, everyone's favorite, the tonpei-yaki with cheese topping. It paired perfectly with the sauce, making the drinks go down smoothly. I also tried a red drink that was like a mix of red wine with something else, but not sweet. It was very easy to drink. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely come back next week! 😊

I was brought to this restaurant by Katchin-san and I fell in love with it. The quiet master and the friendly wife make a great team. I love the combination of Agi-yaki and highball, especially when dipping the cabbage under the Agi in their special sauce. The cold tofu is also a favorite appetizer. I'm currently hooked on the Tonpei-yaki with cheese topping. I always finish with salt yakisoba, sometimes getting some to go. It's strange that there are no reviews for such a great restaurant, but I've heard of the jinx where my favorite places end up closing.
