I went to a restaurant on Nijo Street, but it was temporarily closed. However, I discovered a small shop that I hadn't noticed before in the area. The shop faces Nijo Street and seems to have opened at the end of 2011. Despite the presence of well-known shops like Inotsuchi, Ogino, Shina no, Nakamuraya, and others in the area, I was surprised that this shop had been here for over 5 years. When I entered, there were three women dining alone. The interior was brighter than I expected, and the atmosphere was not uncomfortable. I looked at the menu and hesitantly ordered the meat soba. It's unclear if it's a cafe, a coffee shop, a dining establishment, or something else, but everyone seeks different things in a place like this. For example, the serene calmness with a touch of nostalgia like in episode 13 of the anime "Wakakozake." However, that atmosphere was not present here. I sat facing away from the kitchen, and I could hear the lively conversation between the female owner and the female staff. Occasionally, regular customers joined in. I don't mind this kind of atmosphere, but it might be a bit challenging to relax alone, focus on a book, or enjoy your food. Now, the soba arrived on a plate with plenty of green onions and meat. The noodles were a bit soft, and the broth was delicious, but slightly cloudy, probably from simmering with the beef for a long time. Overall, the taste was quite good. Thank you for the meal. Also, be aware of potential hyperinflation like in the case of Mr. Tonda when paying.
