Special course for 2,580 yen includes your choice of hamburger, today's appetizer, today's soup, bread or rice, today's dessert, and coffee or tea. You can choose from 6 different sauces for the patty, either plain or cheese. I chose plain for one patty with an omal shrimp sauce, and plain with a cream mustard sauce for the other. The appetizer was a sea bream carpaccio. The hamburger used a rare brand of pork, Kyoto Tanba Kogen Pork, which was 100% tender and had a refreshing taste. The combination with the rich omal shrimp bisque sauce was outstanding. The dessert was also included in the set, which I reserved from the restaurant's website (also available on Ichigeki). They also offer lunch sets starting from 1,200 yen with today's soup, bread or rice. It was a satisfying and delicious hamburger lunch course!

I enjoyed the foie gras with cream mustard sauce and the limited-time truffle topping. Each dish was delicious, and the staff was very attentive and polite. I would love to visit again when I go to Kyoto!

Before shopping, I ordered two drinks and a set meal (of course, with a hamburger). My girlfriend drank white grape juice and said, "This is apple juice!" I thought there's no way that's right, but she insisted. I called the waiter and it turned out she was right. I've never tasted such good white grape juice before, I guess I just have a bad palate. Sorry. The appetizer, sea bream carpaccio, was delicious, followed by a tasty soup and then the main course. I had cheese and demi-glace sauce, while my girlfriend had demi-glace. We shared a dessert, and the coffee and tea were also delicious. It was a great lunch!

I had made a reservation for Hamburger Coeur, but it seems that you can also get in without a reservation depending on the time. I was torn between foie gras and shrimp, but this time I chose the shrimp hamburger. The hamburger was really delicious, but the appetizer carpaccio was also very delicious, and even the pudding at the end exceeded my expectations in terms of deliciousness.

I had a course meal for my friend's birthday. The hamburger was definitely delicious. Everything, including the dessert, was tasty. They surprised us with a birthday plate, which was very cute. I would love to visit again.

The restaurant has a cute interior and is located underground. I had the hamburger course for lunch, with foie gras on top. The bread used beets, and the appetizers and desserts were delicious. It's a great place to visit now because the cherry blossoms are beautiful.

I had some business in the Kyoto area, so I chose the course menu here. The dishes were all delicious, from the appetizers to the dessert. I recommend the tender cartilage with truffle sauce. The kids had the demi-glace, and even though I usually don't like demi-glace, I found this one to be really tasty! I wanted to have the pudding for dessert, but unfortunately, it was sold out by the evening. However, the melt-in-your-mouth shortcake was also very delicious!

Visited around 14:00. No wait to enter. Today's soup was minestrone, with plenty of ingredients and a lovely cheese topping. The main hamburger was so tender that it fell apart when cut with a knife. The demiglace sauce had a strong acidity and richness. The sauce alone was a bit salty, but it balanced well with the sweetness of the meat. The complimentary half-boiled egg was a nice touch, served in a separate dish.

I made a reservation for lunch and visited the restaurant. I ordered the normal patty with lobster bisque sauce, where you can choose the patty and sauce. When it arrived, I was surprised by its visual presentation, and my stomach growled at the rich aroma of lobster. When I cut into the hamburger, juicy meat juices oozed out, and it had a juicy flavor.

A plain hamburger with demi-glace sauce and a soft-boiled egg topping! I thought it would come with a sunny-side-up egg, but instead it was served with a poached egg. When you break it over the hamburger and mix it with the demi-glace sauce, the flavor changes and becomes even more delicious. Highly recommended!

A hamburger specialty restaurant where you can enjoy hamburgers made with rare "Kyotamba Kogen Pork". The restaurant has dim lighting and a calm atmosphere. They offer a set course for 3,280 yen, which includes a special hamburger, choice of appetizer or salad, bread or rice, and dessert. The Cheese Hamburger is particularly delicious with juicy meat and a rich cheese flavor. Other menu items include Shrimp and Scallop Escargot Butter, Soup of the Day, and Mascarpone Cheese Conel Pudding Cake or Ice Cream for dessert. The pudding, made fresh daily, has a firm texture and pairs perfectly with the bittersweet caramel sauce. The restaurant is conveniently located near Shijo Kawaramachi Station, making it a great choice for Christmas or a date night.

I visited the hamburger restaurant "Hamburg Conel" located 1 minute from Kawaramachi Station and 2 minutes from Gion Shijo Station in Kyoto! Hamburg Conel specializes in hamburgers made with rare "Kyotanba Kogen Pork". I tried their prefix course (3,608 yen) which includes a choice of hamburger, appetizer or salad, bread or rice, soup of the day, choice of dessert, and tea or coffee. I had the Conel salad with prosciutto and camembert cheese, and the Escargot butter grilled shrimp and scallop hamburger patty. The patty was 200g of plain and cheese sauce with lobster bisque sauce and foie gras cream mustard sauce. For dessert, I had a white sesame tiramisu parfait and a special gelato and fruit assortment. The 100% Kyotanba pork hamburger was juicy and the rich sauce was amazing. It was one of the best hamburgers I've ever had. Restaurant information: Hamburg Conel, Address: 223 Nabe-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto 604-8015, Business hours: 11:00-15:00, 17:00-22:00, Phone: 075-221-2682

It's a hamburger specialty restaurant that opened near Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. Originally from Tokyo, it's been quite popular on Instagram and always crowded. I visited because it wasn't too busy at an odd time. The interior was sophisticated, with some sofa seating that made it surprisingly spacious. The noise level was a bit high, but understandable during lunchtime. I ordered the foie gras hamburger for an extra 500 yen, making the total lunch cost around 2000 yen. I also ordered red wine to go with it. I didn't know beforehand, but this place serves 100% pork hamburgers, so the foie gras didn't really match. The red wine also didn't pair well. Due to the pork fat, it had a meatball-like taste, more like home-cooked food. The sauce, with added miso, enhanced the meatball flavor. I think beer would be a better match than wine. The combination of foie gras and miso didn't work well. Visually, it looked beautiful, but the taste was a bit mismatched. If I had known it was 100% pork, I would have chosen a different flavor. Maybe the lobster one would have left a different impression. However, in terms of pork hamburgers, the quality was high. It was very juicy, with a mild flavor similar to Japanese-style hamburgers. I thought it would be even tastier if it had a more French-style seasoning.

"Hamburg Conel" I ordered the Hamburg steak made with marbled pork and topped with foie gras cream mustard sauce. The visual presentation was amazing. The meat was juicy and full of flavor. The sauce, although there are many options, was delicious. My friend ordered the lobster which also looked very tasty. Despite my allergies, I also enjoyed the bonito carpaccio. I was completely satisfied with my meal!!

I stayed overnight in Kyoto due to the Shinkansen trouble caused by heavy rain, and the next day I had lunch at a restaurant I reserved through Tabelog. I arrived at 11:30 and found the place easily located near Matsumoto Kiyoshi. It was cozy with many solo diners. The appetizer with bonito and the soup were delicious, raising my expectations for the hamburger. The hamburger had cheese, lobster bisque sauce, and a half-cooked egg, which was a great choice. The combination of hamburger, cheese, bisque, egg, rice, and red wine was excellent. It was a high-quality lunch. The extra 600 yen for the bisque was definitely worth it. Next time, I plan to order the plain 200g hamburger with bisque and half-cooked egg without the course. The second glass of French organic wine was also very delicious and felt like a good deal.

I had made a reservation in advance, but when I arrived at the reserved time, there was a long line in front of the restaurant. The entrance was narrow, making it difficult to enter, and I felt uncomfortable being looked at as if I was cutting in line. Even though I had a reservation, I had to wait for almost 10 minutes before being seated. The table I was finally shown to was in the basement, with a nice and calm atmosphere for enjoying the meal. Due to the crowded conditions, I decided to go with a salad set where I could choose the type of patty and sauce. The food was served promptly after ordering and was delicious. When I left around 1:30 pm, there was still a line outside, so I recommend making a reservation when visiting this restaurant.

I couldn't find any open shops in Pontocho and it was raining, so I reluctantly visited this place. The hamburger wasn't to my taste, with a dry texture. The sauce was overwhelmingly watery, I wish it had been a bit creamier.

I visited Hamburg Corners, located a little off the main street in Kawaramachi, after noticing a line outside. I ordered the hamburger steak, which came with rice and soup. I chose the cream mustard sauce, which was incredibly delicious. The 200g pork hamburger was not a common choice, but it turned out to be tasty. The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere, making it suitable for girls' gatherings or dates.

I visited the hamburger restaurant "Hamburger Cornel" in Koyamachi after seeing the hamburgers topped with lobster and foie gras on social media. Despite shifting my lunchtime, the restaurant was popular among young women. I ordered both the plain foie gras mustard and demi-glace 170g hamburgers. I also opted for a large serving of rice for an additional 50 yen. The mustard sauce that caught my eye was indeed delicious! If you choose the large rice portion, it might be better to go for 200g. The prices are slightly on the higher side for a hamburger restaurant. It would be nice if they offered rice refills!

I really wanted to eat the combination of mozzarella patty and demi-glace sauce at Hamburg Conel for the second time... Unfortunately, alcohol was not available to prevent the spread... It would have been even more delicious if I had it with wine last time... I personally love Conel's demi-glace sauce because it lacks acidity ❤️ It goes perfectly with the mozzarella patty ❤️ I want to try all the varieties, so I'll come back again ❤️

I was wandering around Kyoto's Kiyamachi area, trying to decide what to eat for lunch, when I stumbled upon a charming hamburger restaurant. They used Danba Kogen pork for their hamburgers, which I had never tried before. Intrigued, I decided to go in and try it out by myself. Although they had a set menu for 2,480 yen which included salad and dessert, I was short on time so I opted for the 1,500 yen option which included a 200g hamburger with cartilage in a demi-glace sauce, served with soup and rice. When I cut into the hamburger, a lot of juices came bursting out, revealing the sweet and savory flavor of the pork. It was incredibly delicious. I look forward to trying it with a different sauce next time.
