東京旨いもの食べ歩き
I wanted to eat delicious fish, so my wife and I visited "Shokudo Unari Kodenmacho" this day. It was almost full at 7:00 pm on Friday. It was a good idea to make a reservation. We sat at the counter and the course started. We ordered the course "Small dishes and freshly cooked rice with sake included (6,000 yen)" for this day. We were served a glass of beer as a service at the beginning. Beer is great to drink in the hot season. Furthermore, we were served sake from here. We could enjoy about 6 types of sake to match the dishes, and it was a wonderful system where we could pour it ourselves from a 1.8 liter bottle. It's practically all-you-can-drink, but be careful not to drink too much. I got more drunk than I thought, so I drank a lot of water.
- Tsubugai: A richly flavored tsubugai that is sweetly simmered. You can taste the rich liver if you skillfully take it out with a toothpick.
- Tuna skewers: Juicy tuna with fat on top, flavored with ginger, goes well with beer and sake.
- Shark heart sashimi: It tastes like shark heart sashimi and goes well with sesame oil. I had it for the first time, but it was delicious.
- Sashimi assortment: A selection of red snapper, tuna, horse mackerel, sweet shrimp. They were all fresh, flavorful, and delicious.
- Raw horse mackerel fry: The outside is crispy, but the inside of the horse mackerel is rare. It goes well with tartar sauce and a ponzu-like sauce with chives.
- Konbu with eggs: The crunchy texture is delicious. The bonito flakes on top add flavor.
- Simmered squid and daikon radish: Squid goes well with sake. The daikon radish is also soaked in squid flavor and is delicious.
- Salt-grilled and rolled kamasu: Kamasu is juicy with fat, but it has quite a few bones, so I ate it carefully. The rolled egg is also delicious with a simple seasoning.
- Rice cooked in a clay pot: The rice, cooked slightly hard, is fluffy and delicious. The rice accompaniments such as mentaiko, seaweed, dried small fish, and pickled daikon are also delightful. The miso soup with Nameko mushrooms and tofu is a comforting deliciousness.
All the dishes were carefully prepared, and I truly felt that I was eating delicious food today. In the second half, I was able to have a good time talking with the person next to me and the chef. After paying the bill, the chef saw us off outside. I got more drunk than usual, so next time, I will reduce the amount of sake I pour myself and enjoy the food even more. Thank you for the meal.
