It was steamy hot, so I was debating whether to go for cold soba, but ended up ordering tempura udon and inari sushi. The inari sushi here has a sweet fried tofu pouch and light vinegar rice, very delicious. The tempura udon is served separately. It comes with 2 prawns, pumpkin, shiso leaf, green pepper, eggplant, and it's a generous portion for ¥830, great value. Each inari sushi costs ¥120. It's definitely worth more than the price. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, around 11:30 am. There were three other customers already there. I sat at a counter seat and ordered the specialty of the restaurant called "Dairiki Udon." It arrived in about 10 minutes. The "Gyu no Aburakasu" is actually beef offal. Is it also called that in Kyoto? It's a common term in Osaka. The udon noodles were thin and delicious, with a Kansai-style broth that was tasty. The addition of mochi was a nice touch. I enjoyed it and finished the meal quickly.

Today I had the Chicken Karaage Curry Ramen for ¥820. The curry broth in Kyoto is made by combining udon broth with curry powder and kuzu starch for thickening. It may be small, but it's filled with plenty of chicken karaage, making it very filling. The ramen noodles stayed delicious until the very end without getting soggy. Thank you for the meal.

Ordered the diced egg curry with a rich broth at Dairiki-san, served with Chinese noodles. The noodles have a strong egg flavor, which pairs perfectly with the curry. The Nabeyaki Udon was delicious with shrimp tempura, beef, chicken, egg, and fish cake, each adding to the flavorful broth. It's starting to get hot, but I can't help craving it. The Tamadon was also delicious with a perfect balance of egg and broth. Thank you for the meal.

This is my first visit to Dairiki-san~☆ When I entered the restaurant, I saw that the left side had counter seats for solo diners, while the right side had tables lined up. The curtains provided privacy so I could enjoy my meal without worrying about the person next to me. I ordered the Beef Tendon Curry Udon for 770 yen and tried a bit of the Meat Curry Udon for 748 yen. I also got a medium-sized bowl of rice for 264 yen. I wanted to try the Inari sushi, but they were already sold out by lunchtime. I went with the Tendon Curry, and I was happy with the taste of the tendon, especially since there were some tendons I couldn't eat in the past. The portion was generous and delicious. If I had to say one thing, I wish it was a bit spicier. I also tasted the Meat Curry, but I think I prefer the Tendon Curry. Thank you for the meal! (^人^)

I visited at lunchtime, but it was before 2pm so the soba noodles were sold out. I had the egg rice bowl and plain udon set for ¥880 instead. The egg rice bowl had fluffy eggs with a flavorful broth, very delicious. The udon noodles were Kyoto-style, smooth and chewy. The broth was tasty and the fish cake topping added extra flavor to the plain udon.

I went for lunch (^^) ❤️ [Nama-yuba Curry Soba] You could choose from udon, soba, or yellow soba. The creamy texture of the yuba and the curry were really delicious and warming. It was the best. [Oinari-san] Sweet and fragrant! Ate one after the soba. It was delicious. There are many varieties, the staff is kind, and it's a calming atmosphere. I want to go again even by myself. Highly recommended.

It was delicious, and I used to visit this place a lot when I was around here. The noodles were soft with a good chewy texture, which was really exquisite. The tempura udon, for its cheap price, had a lot of volume and was very satisfying! My top recommendation is the karaage curry udon, with small but delicious pieces of karaage mixed in, so I highly recommend it to everyone except those who don't like it!

Daikirikudon for 700 yen excluding tax. The broth is amazing!! I ended up coming here reluctantly because my favorite place was closed. Despite its plain appearance in a quiet area, the place was quite busy on a weekday before 3 pm during the pandemic. I found out why after eating. The broth here is much better than popular places in Umeda. It's rich and well thought out. It's within walking distance from Hankyu Omiya Station. If you love udon and good broth, definitely check it out. The noodles and toppings are also great. The flavors are well balanced. The restaurant is clean, but the atmosphere, vibe, and prices are more down-to-earth. It's the kind of place where regulars keep coming back for the subtle umami flavor = You can have as many bowls as you want.

A local udon restaurant within walking distance from Shijo Omiya Station. They also offer takeout options. The udon has a perfect balance with a flavorful broth and a generous amount of Kyoto-style toppings like fried tofu and yuba. The curry udon is a popular menu item that I would like to try next time.

The udon noodles were thin but not too soft, just the right texture. I chose a menu item that had the restaurant's name in it. It was my first time at this restaurant, so I thought about getting the regular dashi broth, but since it was Friday, I wanted to have curry, so I went with curry udon. The restaurant provided paper aprons, which was nice. I had the "Dairiki Curry Udon."

The price of the other person's bowl was supposed to be 680 yen excluding tax, but for some reason it was 798 yen including tax. I found it troublesome so I just left it as it was.

The food here was not like the sweet simmered dishes in Osaka. The plum and dried fish rice and meat udon.
