Visited for the first time with a friend. We were hungry so we ordered a variety of dishes. We mostly ordered in short sizes, including Bang Bang Ji, large shrimp chili, Sichuan-style mapo tofu, water dumplings, xiaolongbao, shrimp shumai, fried noodles, and lemon sauce fried chicken. The steamed dishes were delicious, but the mapo tofu, large shrimp chili, and Bang Bang Ji were especially tasty! Despite ordering in short sizes, the portions were quite generous. I think if we had ordered in regular sizes, it would have been overwhelming! Good taste, good value for money, and I definitely want to come back!

Located along the national highway, this is a large Chinese restaurant with a high-class atmosphere but still feels quite casual. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant. When my friend and I visited, we were served a menu with portions adjusted for two people. We ordered the egg roll, sweet and sour pork, fried dumplings, young chicken fried, crab meat fried rice. The egg roll had a unique texture and was delicious. The fried dumplings had a strong flavor but not too overpowering. The young chicken fried had a crispy texture on the outside and juicy on the inside, with great flavor. Everything was delicious, and we enjoyed it with plenty of drinks. The staff at the restaurant provided excellent service.

There are plenty of seats, so it's unlikely to be fully booked. The taste is authentic Chinese cuisine, delicious and beautifully presented with a nice aroma. The order in which the dishes are served is good, although occasionally the appetizer may come last. There are some sloppy restaurants out there, but this one is perfect. This day is Saturday ⭐️ I visited around 2 pm and the menu changed completely. The egg spring rolls were delicious and crispy. The mapo tofu did not disappoint, it was spicy and tasty. The candied sweet potatoes were very satisfying, with a generous portion. The hot sweet potatoes served in icy water were also delicious. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal. Thank you!

I went to this restaurant recommended by my husband, which he has been going to since he was a child. We ordered the stir-fried beef and potatoes, as well as the egg skin spring rolls. Since it was lunchtime, rice and soup came for free. The beef and potatoes dish had a spicy kick to it and was very delicious. The egg skin spring rolls were a unique dish for me, being from the Kanto region. They were crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and had a slightly sweet filling that was addictive. The portions were generous, and with just these two dishes, I was completely satisfied. It was a delicious meal, thank you!

I finally got to visit Ataka Ryotei, a restaurant near my house! The space inside was very spacious, but there were some tables that couldn't be used. We ordered by writing down the dish numbers on a paper at the table. We ordered: Mapo Eggplant - hot and spicy, very delicious (wanted more); Sichuan-style Stir-fried Chicken - too spicy for me but my husband enjoyed it; Shrimp with Mayonnaise Sauce - shrimp was delicious but I wished there was less mayo or served separately; Pan-fried Dumplings - looked and tasted great; Fried Chicken - tasty; Fried Rice - delicious. We also had bottled beer. I would like to try their lunch menu next time. Thank you for the meal!

Today, my family and I visited this unique Chinese restaurant that is well known among those who frequently use Route 1 between Osaka and Kyoto. The spacious interior is divided into multiple table seats, some of which are semi-private, and there are also 2nd and 3rd floors, indicating a large capacity. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from single items to sets and courses, including dishes made with high-quality ingredients. Orders are placed by writing the numbers on a slip of paper and handing it over. We started with the sweet and sour pork, which came in a large serving with around 15 pieces, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside with a perfect balance of sweet and sour flavors. Next, we tried the fried rice, which was a generous portion with a beautiful mix of egg and rice, filled with plenty of ingredients like char siu, creating a delicious and elegant dish. Lastly, we had the ramen with a mild animal-based and soy sauce broth, topped with soft sliced char siu and crunchy green onions, gradually releasing the char siu essence into the soup, resulting in a tasty and satisfying meal. All the dishes were generous in portion size, making it ideal for sharing with a group. The food was delicious, served quickly, and reasonably priced. This place deserves more recognition. It was surprising to see it not very crowded even during lunchtime on a holiday. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

There were two shuttle buses parked for free transportation for groups of 8 or more! Feeling very hungry today, so I ordered the "Satisfying Lunch." The char siu with little fat was seasoned just right with soy sauce. The uniquely textured noodles were soft and sank in the slightly sweet soup when bitten. The egg in the Tianjin rice was slightly firm, and the flavor was average. The sauce was a bit scarce for the rice, so I ended up eating it with the fried chicken instead. The fried chicken was tender, crispy, and quite juicy with a good amount of fat. The coffee was pre-sweetened with syrup, so it was very sweet from the start. The tantanmen and tenshinhan lunch set is quite filling. Honestly, the tantanmen is quite delicious. The fried chicken is not freshly fried, so it's not my preferred taste especially with the tenshinhan. Improvement is needed in that aspect. However, the restaurant has a spacious parking lot which is great. The atmosphere with private rooms for each table is also quite nice. I don't think I will visit again.

I went fishing for Amago in the mountain streams of Unegahata in the deep mountains of Kyoto. However, as soon as I arrived, there was a disaster-level heavy rain and thunder, so I had to turn back and head back to Osaka. I thought it would be a shame to just go back like this, so I decided to stop by Ataka Restaurant on the way back. I chose the mapo rice for lunch. It was neither good nor bad, just average. It was a nice Chinese restaurant.

It was nice to see something other than Chinese noodles as the first dish! The fact that they brought out the dishes in stages was great because the air conditioning made the food cool quickly. The ladies' lunch set allows you to try a little bit of everything, which is nice. I had spring rolls, soup dumplings, shrimp mayo, and sweet and sour pork which was tender and delicious. The set also came with Chinese noodles and coconut tapioca for dessert. You can also help yourself to coffee, which is a plus! All of this for only 900 yen is amazing. I went to a large Chinese restaurant with a nostalgic atmosphere. I ordered a satisfying lunch set that brought back childhood memories. I had Tianjin rice, dan dan noodles, 3 pieces of fried chicken, pickled vegetables, and salad. And the best part was that coffee was included as a self-service option. Later, I found out that they are closed on Sundays now. I remember going there for lunch on a Sunday before, so maybe their regular day off changed. I wondered if there was anything nearby, and then I remembered Ataka Restaurant was close by. It only took a minute to get there. Last time, we ordered too much and almost burst, so this time my wife and I decided on fried rice, Sichuan-style mapo tofu, sweet and sour shrimp, and cheese spring rolls. Everything was delicious and the portions were as generous as always. Good Chinese food is always a treat!
