I had curry in Kameoka at Kyofujiharu Curry. The map on Tabelog was incorrect, so I had to wander around the area a bit (I corrected it, so it should be fine now). The menu (there were a few more items) included Katsu Curry and Ebi Fry Curry. I asked for the Ebi Fry to be slightly spicy and the Tonkatsu to be very spicy. You could also choose the type of rice, and I chose the purple-black rice, which I think they called mixed grain rice. The spiciness levels were explained by the staff: slightly spicy was like a medium level of spiciness, and very spicy was about as spicy as hot curry. The interior of the restaurant had acrylic dividers next to the seats for COVID-19 measures and the decor was stylish. The Katsu Curry was 1300 yen, and the Katsu was cut into easy-to-eat pieces. The Ebi Fry Curry was also 1300 yen, and it came with Fukujinzuke. The curry roux seemed rich but was actually light and didn't seem to contain wheat flour. It had a good amount of vegetables and fruits. The aroma of the fruits came through first, followed by the spiciness, but the fruits were not too sweet and enhanced the flavor of the spices, making it delicious! The Ebi Fry seemed to be made with good shrimp, but they were a bit small, so maybe having 3 larger shrimp instead of 2 would be better. Overall, it was a good meal. At 1300 yen, it would be nice to have a salad, soup, or coffee included. The service was good, and even though the location was not very noticeable, it was quite popular.

I finally got to visit a restaurant I've been wanting to try for a while. When I arrived around 12 o'clock for lunch, the first floor was almost full. The second floor had a bright and cute interior, with terrace seating as well. I finally ordered the curry I've been wanting to try. There were so many options that all looked delicious, making it hard to choose... I went with the mixed curry (slightly spicy and mild) with a topping of fried chicken. The presentation was so beautiful that I almost didn't want to disturb it, but here goes! The curry was light and easy to eat. Despite being slightly spicy, the spices gradually kicked in and it was delicious! The fried chicken was crispy and tasty on its own as well. It was so good that I think I could even handle a large portion. Next time, I'll try the shrimp fry and pork cutlet. Thank you for the meal.

It was delicious! I visited again during my lunch break and had the mixed curry with pork cutlet topping. I enjoyed the two flavors of mixed curry and shrimp curry, so I chose the mixed curry. The pork cutlet was crispy and delicious. The strawberry smoothie was very generous with strawberries and felt like a great deal. The new komatsuna juice released today had a wonderful balance of acidity and sweetness, and was very tasty. I will definitely visit again!

It had been a while since I went to Kyoto Fujiharu Curry with two friends. I had the plain curry and shrimp curry with shrimp fry topping, along with a salad. Both flavors were enjoyable and very delicious. My friends had curry udon with shrimp fry and poached egg topping, and they also enjoyed the free rice that came with it. The curry udon had a flavorful broth and was delicious. The staff was very friendly when we left, and we even received some candy. Both of us were very satisfied and will definitely visit again.

I rarely visit the Kameoka area. I was looking for a delicious restaurant and found this place through both Tabelog and Google searches. Luckily, there was a parking lot in front of the restaurant, which was convenient since I was traveling by car. However, the parking lot is quite small, so if you have a large car and are not confident in your driving skills, it might be better to park at a nearby parking lot. I arrived around 1:30, a bit late, but the restaurant was still full. Most of the customers seemed to be local women, and I thought maybe the cozy atmosphere was popular among the locals. The menu had several options besides curry, and you could choose to have a set meal or not. I decided to have curry and coffee as a set. The food was delicious, but what really stood out was the cozy atmosphere of the restaurant. There are many restaurants out there, but this atmosphere is unique and cannot be replicated. I think it must be because of the personality of the people running the place.

I wanted to eat curry for lunch, so I did some research on Tabelog and found this place. The restaurant is located next to a garage. When I entered the restaurant, I was seated at a table and ordered the Hirekatsu Curry for ¥1300. I could choose the type of rice, spiciness level, and portion size. After a while, the curry arrived. It was served on a large plate with a big piece of pork cutlet and vegetables. I tried the curry from the sauce to check the spiciness level. It wasn't too spicy, more on the mild side with a nice blend of spices. The large portion was quite filling, and it was easy to eat.

On the way from Kyoto to Osaka, I passed through Kameoka around lunchtime, so I decided to have lunch there. I found a nice restaurant that I hadn't noticed before. It's a bit off Route 9, but they have a parking lot which is convenient. I was intrigued by the shrimp curry, so I ordered the European-style curry and the spicy shrimp curry combination for 1100 yen. I also added a poached egg topping for 100 yen and chose purple black rice. However, when my order arrived, I realized that there was no shrimp fry in it. That's right, it's a shrimp curry after all! It seems like I made a little mistake. But you can also add shrimp fry topping if you want. The European-style curry was delicious and truly European in flavor. The shrimp curry was spicy as I chose, but I think I would prefer it even spicier, maybe double the spiciness next time. I also had a coffee which was delicious for 400 yen. It turns out the coffee beans are from a coffee shop in Nagano. The place was not crowded when I went before lunchtime, but it started filling up quickly later on. Most people seemed to order the pork cutlet curry, which I overlooked because it was at the front of the menu. I'll have to try that next time. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with friendly female staff providing good service. I'll probably go back for the pork cutlet curry next time!

We went as a family. The children are toddlers, but the staff were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. They don't have a children's menu, but you can choose the level of spiciness that children can eat. I ordered the pork cutlet curry, and the crispy cutlet blended well with the curry. The colorful fried vegetables also added to the dish. It was delicious. Most importantly, my child enjoyed the meal, so I was very satisfied. I think both the taste and service were very good.

I saw in a brochure there that they use domestic beef and pork, as well as local vegetables and rice, which made me feel good about what I was eating. I will definitely go again!
