I made a reservation on SNS and got takeout. The actual store is located in a residential area near Momoyama Minami Station and is not very noticeable, but it is a shop that is actively promoted on SNS and has many fans. When I opened the small box wrapped in a temari sushi-style furoshiki, it looked like a jewelry box. The cute bite-sized sushi was packed tightly inside. It was very fresh, as expected from a fish store! The vinegar rice had a refreshing texture, and to be honest, I didn't think it tasted like sushi from a fish store at all. It is a completely reservation-only system, but they are flexible and can accommodate preferences and budgets, offering options like mackerel sushi, sashimi, and seafood bowls. Even as takeout, the deliciousness was top-notch!

I made a reservation over the phone and they were fully booked during the day, so I had to book for 3pm along with choosing a menu. They don't have a parking lot, but the staff allowed me to park in front of the shop. It might be inconvenient to go by train. The Handball Sushi lunch set costs ¥1800 and it was really good. The staff were very friendly. I inquired over the phone and it seems they also offer takeout. There are only table and counter seats, and it seems you can only reserve one table seat. The miso soup was delicious, although the portion was small, it was cute and Instagrammable with the Handball Sushi. I think the lunch set for men might be a bit small. I want to try the seafood bowl next time. Currently, they seem to be fully booked during the day until March.

Located in a residential area, this hidden gem of a restaurant might go unnoticed if you don't know about it. Despite not being near the sea, the freshness of the sashimi, excluding salmon, is surprising. The seafood bowl is beautifully presented with around 10 different types of toppings, making it hard to decide where to start. The fish is firm, the shrimp is sweet and melts in your mouth, and the squid has a satisfying chewy texture. The egg is also delicious, and the balance of the roll and broth is superb. The appearance of the miso soup adds to the overall experience, making it a lunch that leaves you breathless. The lunch menu offers a seafood bowl (bowl, miso soup, side dish) for 1,500 yen, and a sashimi set meal (sashimi, miso soup, 2 side dishes, grilled or simmered fish) for 1,650 yen. There is only one table available, so reservations are essential. For those who want to try a variety of sashimi, the seafood bowl is recommended, while the set meal is perfect for those who also want to try other fish dishes. Prices, types of toppings, and takeout options can be discussed, and I noticed a few people coming to pick up their orders. A restaurant you want to share but also keep to yourself, it's a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious!

It seems like there's no parking lot, so I walked about 5 minutes from the nearest station. It's located in a residential area. Inside is more stylish than I imagined! Warm lighting with scale-patterned walls. The smell of cooking doesn't bother you at all in this space. It has a gallery cafe-like atmosphere. Dining inside is by reservation only, and you choose between "Sashimi Set Meal" or "Seafood Bowl" when making a reservation. I decided to go with the "Set Meal." It included: - Miso soup with beardfish head - Dried fish of barracuda - Assorted sashimi - Pickles They serve freshly made dishes at the reserved time. The quality of the sashimi is excellent (*^^*) Although my experience doesn't match those of food connoisseurs, I would compare it to a popular shop near the Central Market that I visited recently. Both the dried fish and miso soup were impeccable. The owner actively shares information on social media. If you make a reservation, they will accommodate various needs such as sashimi, grilled fish, or bento boxes. It's a small fish shop that fills up with just two groups. Really! I envy the locals.

【Ordering from ototojet】 In these days when dining out is not always possible, my mother was sighing as she watched a conveyor belt sushi restaurant commercial, saying how much she wanted to eat sushi. So, we decided to order delivery! The place we ordered from is ototojet, a restaurant in Fushimi, Kyoto, specializing in fish dishes. They offer courses for dining in (with reservations required), as well as catering and takeout services. I discovered this place on Instagram, and the presentation of their dishes looked so beautiful and delicious! At that time, MK Taxi was offering delivery within Kyoto city for only 110 yen, so we took advantage of that. (The delivery fee may vary based on distance now.) - Fish Bento: 3,000 yen - Summer Chirashi: 3,500 yen The chirashi sushi was sparkling and packed neatly in layers. It looked so beautiful! It reminded me of those gift boxes filled with flowers. Each piece of sashimi was fresh and firm. The vinegared rice had a mild flavor, allowing the freshness of the fish to shine through. The ikura and uni were the highlights and so delicious. It was very satisfying and the portion size was generous. I will definitely order from them again. I used the online shop of Kan Sabah's stick sushi and it arrived as scheduled with cool delivery. The thick saba fish with green onions as a nice accent was a delicious saba sushi with a good balance. I also want to try other products.

The price is a bit high, but the quality is amazing for takeout. It was very delicious.
