I walked 5 minutes from my room to this shop that I've been curious about for a long time. I couldn't find the right timing to visit, but today, I went before work. The daily special was pork Yanaigawa, but I had decided on the dashimaki set, so I stuck to my original plan. The chef, a man who seemed to be the head chef, went into the back without saying a word, and then there was a sizzling sound! It seems like they cook it right after taking the order! The freshly grilled dashimaki was juicy, and the side dishes included simmered tofu, pickles, and miso soup. I asked for less rice, but I still ended up really full haha. The simmered tofu expanded quite a bit. I also want to try tempura and sashimi. Actually, I must come back for sushi at night!

The Dashi Maki Set Meal was delicious with tasty Dashi Maki and two side dishes (udon noodles and chilled tomatoes), miso soup, rice, and pickles. The Dashi Maki was irresistible! Also, the Steak Set Meal, Hot Cha Soba Set Meal, and Tempura Set Meal were all great. The tempura batter was fantastic! I want to visit again soon, aiming for the daily special set meal next time.

Finished work in Kyoto. Last lunch at Urasan! I tried the sashimi set meal! High quality. Might not be enough for men in terms of quantity.

I was planning to have a sashimi set meal, but I couldn't resist the temptation of the rolled omelette! The miso soup, pickles, and side dishes were all delicious.
