I ordered the birria set for lunch. I arrived as soon as the restaurant opened, but it quickly filled up. Having lived in Mexico for a long time, I was drawn to birria and pozole, but ended up choosing birria. The soup and meat portion was less than half of what you would get in Mexico, and the price was ten times higher, but it was delicious. If I hadn't already eaten Mexican food in Mexico, I might have given a higher rating (based on price perception). However, considering the price in Kyoto, I felt like I could have eaten something better elsewhere for the same amount. The tortillas were made with corn and were tasty as well.

I was very hungry, so I decided to go to this bustling place. The lunch menu was extensive, so I went with the Quatro Tacos set. The staff seemed concerned about the amount of food I ordered, but I managed to finish it all. However, I was really full and had to battle sleepiness at work in the afternoon. Each taco had plenty of vegetables and some were spicy, so I didn't get tired of them and enjoyed them all. The evening atmosphere seems nice too. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a Mexican cuisine specialty restaurant for the first time in Japan and found that they use a lot of cilantro. @kyoto_orale #OraleMexicanDiner #MexicanCuisine #Mexico #Orale #cilantro #homemadecilantro #Kyoto #KyotoFood #KyotoDinner #Karasuma #KarasumaFood #KarasumaDinner

A few minutes walk from Karasuma Station and Shijo Station. Had lunch here today. The interior has a mix of counter and table seating, with a moderate capacity. The menu mainly consists of Mexican cuisine, including tacos. I ordered the taco lunch set (beef and chicken avocado tacos on this day). Let's dig in! The presentation is quite nice and there's a good aroma of spices. The tacos have plenty of filling and the simplicity of the shell works well. However, there was hardly any spiciness like chili. The smooth avocado dip was also quietly delicious. So, bon appétit! I visited around 1 pm, and it seemed like there was more demand for delivery orders than dine-in customers.

I felt like eating a burrito during the day and decided to have lunch by myself. Inside the restaurant, there was one male regular customer and a group of two women having their meal. I was having trouble deciding on the lunch menu when a female staff member approached me and kindly explained the menu in detail. I was able to choose a burrito lunch in the end after much consideration! The burrito came with a generous portion of salad and soup. I could also choose the type of meat inside the burrito, or opt for a vegetarian option with just vegetables. I could only finish half of the burrito, but they kindly wrapped up the remaining portion for me to take home and enjoy. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again!

I had a solo lunch on a holiday at this restaurant, located just north of Sakaimachi Street from Shijo Street in Kyoto. Due to the pandemic, I ordered the Corona set lunch, which included a Mexican sandwich and tacos. The lunch set also came with soup and salad. The soup had a gentle vegetable consommé flavor, not very Mexican but delicious. The Mexican sandwich, whose name I forgot, was really tasty. It had jalapeños in it, but not too spicy, adding a nice accent to the sweetness of the meat. The tacos were also quite good. I had another Corona beer as well. It's a good restaurant where you can dine alone.

While strolling around the Nishiki Market area in Kyoto, I came across a charming little Mexican restaurant that I've always wanted to try. The interior was quite small, but it added to the cozy atmosphere. The food was a new experience for me, and I found myself wondering if this was what Mexican cuisine was all about. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable meal with a Latin twist!

I wanted to try something different and discovered Mexican cuisine. I ordered the following:
- Three kinds of tacos lunch set for ¥1450
- Flan (Mexican custard) for ¥700
- Corona beer for ¥750
The lunch set came with salad and soup. The tacos were filled with a surprising amount of ingredients, I was impressed by the generous portion! The tacos were flavorful with a good amount of spices. The flan was firm, rich, and delicious! It was a satisfying lunch. The service was very friendly and I left the restaurant feeling happy.

ORALE! This is a lively restaurant name near Shijo Karasuma Station and Daimaru. I went there alone for lunch on a Saturday. I arrived early and the place was quite busy. The kitchen is across from the counter seats, making it easy for solo diners to enter. The lunch options are as follows:
S - Tres Taco Lunch (3 tacos)
A - Taco Lunch (2 tacos)
B - Taco Rice Lunch
C - Quesadilla Lunch
D - Pozole Lunch (soup and 1 taco)
E - Burrito Lunch
All come with salad and soup, priced between 1,000 yen to 1,300 yen.
Order this time:
Taco Lunch - 1,000 yen
Comes with 2 tacos, Mexican rice, soup, salad, and guacamole. The homemade tortillas are chewy and fragrant, filled with plenty of ingredients and sauces, including guacamole. A variety of flavors to enjoy in the tacos. Perfect for those who want to quickly enjoy tacos alone! For dinner, many places have menus that are not solo-friendly or focus on alcohol, making Mexican cuisine seem intimidating. This affordable taco lunch was perfect for me. They also offer taco menu for takeout. I liked this place so much that if it were near my workplace, I would consider it as a daily option.

I had three tacos for lunch. They were open for lunch on Sundays and I think it's a good deal for 1300 yen. And they were delicious. The one on the left was chicken. The one in the middle was beef and cactus. It was very tasty. It was my first time trying cactus. The one on the right was pork mince and cheese. I also liked the taste of this one. It came with avocado dip, which I added as needed while eating! It was almost always full.

This is one of the few places where you can enjoy authentic tacos. The tortillas are soft, which I prefer over hard ones. The taco meat is seasoned just right and really delicious. I will definitely be going back!

Taco lunch for 1600 yen. Two types of tacos, salad, soup, and tortilla. The taco shells were a bit soft, which was a bit disappointing, but they were delicious. It was my first time trying tortilla and soup in this kind of setting, and they were tasty. It felt a bit expensive though.
