Large strawberry is the most popular. The mix cream is light and easy to eat. The fruits are not as big as they look. With bread dough and cream, the fruits are a nice touch. After a filling meal, I easily finished it. It was delicious!

I saw it being sold at the Daimaru event space at JR Ashiya Station, and because of its cute appearance and the trend of cake in a can that I had seen on TV, I was tempted to buy it (*´艸`). They were sold out of the normal shortcake, so I got the chocolate version. When I opened the can, I was surprised to see the cream filling it to the brim. It definitely had a good amount of filling, but the strawberry slices were thin and the sponge was a bit hard. Considering the price, you could buy two regular shortcakes for the same amount, so personally, I don't think I would buy it again. It's cute, though, so it does lift your spirits a bit♡

I was at LOVE2Sweets in Asunal Kanayama. Well, about 70% of the price is for the creativity, I guess. The taste was average but delicious. But still, a slice of cake for 1000 yen? It's good that I don't have to go all the way to Fukuoka or Kyoto to buy it.

At Hankyu Department Store, there was a shop selling the trendy bubble waffles from NY. The Strawberry Bubble Waffle costs 1320 yen and comes with a cute flamingo on top. The waffle, made with tapioca flour, is chewy and filled with plenty of gelato and sauce, making it quite voluminous! It's popular among girls for its appearance and taste.

Thank you for watching the stream yesterday (//∇//). I went to Kyoka Fruit Tea House the other day (*^◯^*). Taking a break at Kyoka Fruit Tea ✌︎('ω'✌︎) It's a cute cafe with flamingos (*^▽^*). They also have Flamingo Bubble Waffles d(^_^o). I had a stylish tea time there (((o(*゜▽゜*)o))). Tapioca drinks are perfect for a walk (=^▽^)σ It's a popular shop with many sold-out items, so I recommend going early (｀・∀・´).

The bee ball tapioca was surprisingly beautiful, extremely chewy, and delicious. I tried the jasmine tea lime tonic with bee ball tapioca topping, and the jasmine fragrance was strong, making it delicious as a tea as well. It goes well with citrus carbonated drinks. The menu is varied and I'm happy about that. It's worth going a bit further west to visit. Next time, I'll try the waffles and lunch as well. The takeout bento was affordable at a one-coin price.

There was a tea shop near Yamazaki Menjiro that caught my attention. They offer a variety of authentic Taiwanese teas. I tried the Fruit Green Tea Squash (600 yen) which was filled with lots of fruit like lemon, orange, lime, and passion fruit. The container was beautifully decorated with colorful fruits. The tea tasted delicious. I got hooked on tasty fruit tea in Taiwan, so I was happy to find a good shop. They have a wide selection of menu items, so I definitely want to go back and enjoy a tasty drink when I visit Kyoto again. ♥️

I found a cute sweets shop, the 340th one♡ with a lovely flamingo design. I wanted to take a break so it was perfect (*^^*) They offer a Triple Berry Bubble for 650 yen and a Lemon Green Tea Squash for 550 yen. The shop used to be a bubble waffle specialty store from Kyoto when it first opened! It was my first time trying bubble waffles (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)♡♡ The waffle, which I assume was being cooked after ordering, was chewy and delicious~ ( ♥︎ᴗ♥︎ )♡♡ The menu says the batter is mixed with tapioca flour, giving it a chewy texture. It comes with strawberry ice cream, two types of berries, strawberry cookies, and whipped cream♡ Perfect for Instagram-worthy photos~♡♡ The Sanjo branch comes with a flamingo, but this one doesn't have one (ㆀ˘･з･˘) I wish it had a flamingo ( ˊᵕˋ )♡.°⑅

I bought a fruit sandwich at the Kyoto Station store of Kyo Hanakagucha and it was delicious. I ate it up quickly and regretted not buying more.

The specialty at Sanjo Keihan Spot seems to be the Instagrammable fruit sandwich. My daughter bought me a set of 3 Maritozzo for 1080 yen after work, which was a good deal as they were originally priced quite high. The Maritozzo options were the "Bastia Maritozzo" for 680 yen and the "Strawberry Maritozzo" for 590 yen each. The Bastia Maritozzo was strangely flavored with a small portion, combining cocoa brioche with a unique cheese-like taste that didn't quite match well. The texture was rough and not pleasant. On the other hand, the Strawberry Maritozzo was delicious with a good balance of rich brioche, cream, and strawberry sweetness, although the amount of strawberry was average or slightly less. Overall, it would be worth it up to 400 yen, but the original prices are quite high.

I purchased this sandwich at the Kyoto Isetan Pan Festival & Japanese Bento Festival, which was held until the other day. Since it was close to closing time, I was able to buy it at a discount. This sandwich consists of Taiwanese-style fried chicken. The fried chicken, which is about the size of an adult man's hand, is known for being generously seasoned with spices. However, I felt that the spices were a bit weak in this one. The combination of the spicy fried chicken and the sandwich bread is not bad. But, I think it would taste better if it were hot. Sandwiches are usually eaten cold, so it's a common thing, but it's a bit subtle. I often see this at events these days, so I would like to visit the actual store once.
