On my way home from work, I felt a little hungry so I stopped by Yoshinoya Okubo Bypass Castle Hill store and had a regular beef bowl. I came here for the first time. This area doesn't have many restaurants, so this place was bustling. It's a store attached to a supermarket and Uniqlo, so the parking lot is spacious. It's located along a main road, so the access is good. There were only two staff members, so everyone had to wait a bit. But it's understandable. I ordered the green onion and salted pork set meal. The fact that it came with a salad was a selling point for me. I also opted for the free large rice portion. It was seasoned with a salt sauce, making it light. It seemed to have a hint of lemon. It was delicious.

Everyone knows Yoshinoya. This is just my personal opinion, but men over 40 tend to prefer Yoshinoya, while those under 40 tend to prefer Sukiya. In the past, there was only Yoshinoya, so... The Tsukimi Gyudon (moon-viewing beef bowl) advertised on the storefront is a classic. Yoshinoya's regular Gyudon is still the most delicious compared to their other beef bowl variations.

I had to go out to buy cigarettes and had some errands to run, so I visited the restaurant around 5 am. It's been a while since I had rice for breakfast, and I really wanted it, so I ordered a TKG (raw egg over rice) with seasoned seaweed. It was delicious as always! My craving for rice breakfast was satisfied. I'm very happy and satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

Before work. Sometimes I want to have a proper breakfast. So I head to Yoshinoya, a place where the rice is delicious. They have a great breakfast set for a great price. The "One Soup Three Side Dishes Morning Set" is only one coin and they even give you change back, amazing service! And you can have unlimited rice refills! This time, I had the Natto Beef Small Dish Set for 368 yen. Natto, miso soup, salad, enjoying a typical Japanese breakfast. And the Yoshinoya beef small dish that comes with it is a bonus. I always think that the rice cooked for Yoshinoya's beef bowls is really delicious. Just with pickled ginger and shichimi, I can finish a whole bowl... Thank you, Yoshinoya!

I had a small size morning beef set for 437 yen at Yoshinoya. When was the last time I had beef bowl here? Is this the taste of Yoshinoya's beef bowl? Lately, I've been feeling like the flavors are stronger, so the taste seemed unfamiliar to me. It wasn't bad, but I didn't feel like "I just had a beef bowl!"

During the pandemic, takeout has become more common, but surprisingly, I hadn't used this kind of classic restaurant much. This is my first visit in a year. The regular beef bowl for takeout costs 419 yen including tax. It's a surprisingly low price. The taste is still at a consistent level as always. Thinking about the need to escape deflation for the future recovery of the Japanese economy, I enjoyed my meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
