On September 24, 2023, I visited the bakery around 9 AM. I had some trouble finding the parking lot, but eventually found it on the west side of the shop. I purchased a Pelage Basil Garlic France, a salted bread, and a corn salted bread. When I got home, I enjoyed them with beer. The garlic flavor in the Garlic France was incredibly delicious! I think it's really good. The salted breads were also tasty, but I was surprised by how delicious the garlic butter in the Garlic France was.

There is a wide variety of breads available, and they are all delicious. They offer items such as white bread, salt bread, and sandwiches. They open early in the morning and have many customers coming in. It's nice that they have a parking lot. This bakery is very customer-friendly.

I went to buy bread for breakfast this morning. The bakery had a beautiful interior with lots of freshly baked bread. There were so many varieties to choose from, but I ended up getting a croissant and a loaf of bread. I brought them home and shared with my family, and everything was delicious!

Today, I stopped by a bakery in Kujo Shin-Senbon, Minami-ku, Kyoto. It's called Lupin Bakers, with a cute child logo as its sign. They have affordable bread options, around 100 yen each. It's a bakery that feels close to the local community, and I've been there a few times before. They sell baguettes, sandwich bread, and other types of bread for meals. I purchased their Halloween limited edition bread, which was shaped like a pumpkin ghost called "Jack-O'-Lantern". It had pumpkin paste and chocolate cream inside, and was quite sweet. It was big and had a satisfying taste. I also got their popular item, the Salt Bread, for 90 yen each. It's made with rice flour, Japanese wheat, and French "Guérande salt". It had just the right amount of saltiness and a fluffy texture, making it delicious and easy to eat. I also bought a crispy baguette for a meal, which was great with salad. One baguette was enough for three meals, so it felt like a good deal. I enjoyed Lupin Bakers' bread today, which is convenient and affordable in my neighborhood.

I visited on August 7, 2021. This was before having dinner at Saizeriya. I bought some bread for breakfast as I am heading back to Niigata tomorrow. With both doses of the vaccine completed, I decided to go back home this time. I plan to leave early in the morning, so I wanted to enjoy some delicious bread. The items I purchased this time were:
- Pizza
- Croque Monsieur
- French Toast
All three are classic choices and delicious as always. It was a pleasant time enjoying them on the way.

I visited this bakery on May 2, 2021, located in Karahashi Kyojima-cho, Minami-ku, near Shichijo Satetsuji in Kyoto. It offers delicious bread at a great price. There is a parking lot on the west side of the Shichijo Satetsuji intersection. Please be careful when parking as it is a one-way street facing east.
Inside the bakery, there are various colorful bread displayed. The scent of bread fills the air all the way to the intersection while waiting for the traffic light. This time, I purchased nine types of bread using two trays. They have a variety of bread, from savory to sweet. The Nut and Baked Chocolate Danish was particularly impressive, with plenty of almonds, walnuts, and other nuts on top of chocolate on Danish pastry dough. The Croque-monsieur and Basil Pizza were also incredibly delicious. I enjoyed a variety of bread and left completely satisfied.

Today, I visited a bakery called Lupin Bakers located on Shin-Senbon Street in the Minami Ward of Kyoto City. It is a shop that seems to be loved by locals. Last time I visited in the evening, the bread I wanted was sold out. This time, I went during lunchtime. Inside the store, there were bread priced in the 100 yen range, giving an affordable impression. I bought three different breads and headed home.
- New Bird: A local bread in Kyoto called "New Bird." I have been exploring various New Bird breads from different bakeries recently, and this one felt like a long size. Inside the long bread, there was a long sausage filling every corner of the dough. The curry flavor matched perfectly with the sausage.
- Melon Pan: A Kyoto-style melon pan shaped like a rugby ball. It has white bean paste inside, which is its distinctive feature. I enjoyed the moist melon pan.
- Sun Rice: In other regions, this type of bread is commonly referred to as "melon pan." It felt like a slightly coarse cookie dough pattern. It had a nice buttery flavor. I enjoyed the crispy cookie dough.
Lupin Bakers has many other unique breads, and personally, I like this bakery.

■ Lupin Bakers
Established in 1984, this bakery is popular among locals. The logo of the shop is cute (^-^) Since it was in the evening, the bread was selling fast. The bread was displayed in one area, with many options priced in the 100 yen range.
I bought these two items:
● Three Bean Chili Dog
At first glance, it looks like a sausage and cheese bread. Inside, there was spicy curry with three types of beans. The crispy sausage was delicious and the texture was enjoyable.
● Sweet and Spicy Stir-Fried Oyaki
A circular bread similar to "oyaki". The lotus root in the center was very impressive (^-^) Inside, there were lotus root and bamboo shoots, providing a crunchy texture. The sweet and spicy minced meat was also delicious. It was an interesting type of bread.

I went for a walk to buy breakfast and ended up going shopping. The store was quite crowded even though it had just opened. There were many types of bread to choose from at this early hour, such as Carne Choco Pan, Puchi Pan, and fried bread with curry flavor. I don't remember the exact names. The fried bread with curry flavor was delicious, the Carne had a great texture with ham, and the Choco Pan was also tasty. The staff, except for the cashier, were polite and helpful. However, the cashier seemed to be quite angry, which was disappointing.

I took a walk to "Lupin Bakers". It was just before noon, but unfortunately my favorite "New Bird" was sold out. I bought some pastries for my husband's snack and breakfast, as well as a half loaf of bread, for a total of 540 yen. I would be happy if they sold half loaves of bread that can be finished in one go. I used to buy extra and freeze bread because I was working until last year, but now I feel like indulging a little. I enjoy eating freshly baked bread while it's still soft. Some of the pastries are individually wrapped, maybe as a measure against the new coronavirus. As a fan of moist bread, I think it's good that they are not too dry. However, for those who prefer hard bread, individually wrapped may not be ideal. The bakery was still bustling with customers, with some coming in before me and others after me. It seems like the local bakery is doing well.

Pan Mania is located about a 15-minute walk from Nishioji Station. It has a retro Showa-era exterior. As soon as you enter, you'll find tongs and trays. The interior is spacious, allowing you to leisurely choose your bread. And the best part is, the prices are very reasonable! There are breads priced below 100 yen, making it a wallet-friendly shop. This time, I purchased the following three items:
- Chocolate Cornet (150 yen): A snack bread with plenty of homemade chocolate cream.
- Danish Bacon (150 yen): A simple item with bacon wrapped in Danish pastry.
- Cranberry Noa (Weekends only, 170 yen): Hand-kneaded French bread dough mixed with cranberries and walnuts.
While I was there, customers were constantly coming in and out. Since there are few bakeries nearby, I think it's a shop that is highly valued by the locals. Thank you for the meal! ★

Today's walking destination was Lupin Bakers, just a 5-minute walk away. We decided on a longer route and stopped by on our way back. When my husband is with me, we always end up buying more (^-^;). Snacks for later, something for the evening, and bread for tomorrow morning. All the bread will be eaten within 2 days without even going into the freezer. It was a fun walk where we could buy freshly baked bread nearby. (lol)

My husband and I went for a walk in the morning. We stopped by "Lupin" on the way (⌒∇⌒). It was before 10 o'clock, but the New Bird we were looking for was sold out. We got freshly baked cream bread, red bean bread, cream sandwich, and cheese bread. The bread was slightly warm and we insisted on having 5 slices of it cut for us. The sweet bread was delicious as expected. I bought the cheese bread for the first time and it was delicious with the perfect amount of salt. I'm happy to have "Lupin" nearby. Thank you for the meal.

Located at the corner of Shin-Senbon-Fuda-Tsujikosaten, this bakery opened in 1984 and offers a stylish monochrome exterior. Upon entering, the aroma of freshly baked bread fills the air in the crowded shop, where a variety of bread is neatly displayed on the walls and in the center. While they offer hearty deli sandwiches, their baguettes and loaves of bread are also popular choices. One must-try item is the local specialty bread of Kyoto, the "New Bird," which features thick-cut ham wrapped in curry-flavored dough and deep-fried for a nostalgic taste. The "Cheese and Bacon Campagne" is another popular choice, highlighting the delicious flavors of the ingredients. This bakery is a well-loved establishment in the area.

I visited the bakery where I bought the unique Halloween bread at the Halloween party the other day. It's located at the corner where Lupin Bakers meets Shin-Senbon Street and Satsutsubashi Street. Inside the store, there were various kinds of bread lined up. For dinner tonight, I got pizza, salt bread, and a croissant. The pizza was surprisingly delicious and had a good cost performance. The salt bread is a popular item at Lupin Bakers. The Croissant, called "First Quarter Moon" (walnut-scented croissant), won the gold prize at the 19th All Japan California Walnut Confectionery and Bakery Contest. I enjoyed the texture of the croissant with the scent of walnuts and fresh butter folded in. It's a lovely bakery on the street corner.

I went to buy breakfast bread. It had an old-fashioned bakery feel. I bought a ham sandwich, tonkatsu sandwich, yakisoba bread, curry bread, cream bread, croissant, shokupan (Japanese white bread), bagel, and chocolate (individually wrapped in silver foil). Among them, the one I want to buy again is the bagel (blueberry and cream cheese). It's delicious. The French bread with milk cream inside is also delicious. The other breads are not bad, but they're just okay. Thank you for the meal.

The red bean paste in the red bean bun is plentiful and very heavy. One piece is enough to make you really full.

On April 29th (Sunday) around 2:30 PM, I visited a ramen shop on Line 1 and on my way back, I wanted to stop by a bakery. I was driving north, but decided to avoid the city traffic by heading towards Tenjostreet, where I remembered there was a Lupin bakery in Shin-Senbon. I recalled buying a delicious bread called "Pondekesho" from Lupin when the South Kyoto Aeon Mall opened. The bread was soft, chewy, and really tasty. Since the Aeon shop closed down, I searched for the Shin-Senbon branch and found it. I asked about the "Pondekesho," but they said they don't make it anymore and might not in the future. I associate Lupin with Pondekesho, so I hope they bring it back. I bought a black sesame salt bread, cranberry and walnut bread (forgot the name), cream bread, chocolate bagel, special curry bread, and Frankfurt salt bread. The black sesame salt bread had a great aroma and texture. The cream bread was baked and had a delicious cream flavor, very soft and creamy. The curry bread was filled generously with curry, not hollow like others, and had a moist, nostalgic, and tasty crust. I definitely want to visit again!

"The shop was rated 3.11 when I visited. I sometimes stop by here early in the morning when heading to the South Interchange. This time I had the bacon dish. The buttery flavor of the dish and the saltiness of the bacon... it was a perfect match, so I bought it thinking it couldn't go wrong. The taste was as expected, and I definitely plan to buy it again ^^"

This shop has been visited by me for a long time. I have been a customer since it was a small shop before the current location. I also go to the 100 yen bakery, but I come here to find unique bread that only this shop offers. They have a parking lot that can fit about 4 cars, which is very convenient. The parking lot is a bit tight compared to the previous one, but it's not a big deal because I can take my time choosing bread inside the shop. Thank you always for your service.
