The entrance to the restaurant is located on the first floor of the building, but the door and sign are slightly set back from the road, making it a bit hard to find. It is a Japanese restaurant with a counter that extends further back, creating a spacious area. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with options to choose seasonal vegetables and fish. I ordered a few different dishes this time, and all of them were delicious and enjoyable. The fried gudgeon was crispy, even the scales, and very tasty. There were also many choices of Japanese sake and shochu. Local customers were dining there, but it was quiet and a nice place to enjoy a meal and drinks.

This is a calm and sophisticated adult-oriented restaurant recommended for those in their 30s and above. Located in the lesser-known area of Ichijoji, this place might not be well-known but it is a restaurant that would surely be more crowded if it were in a busier location. We tried dishes such as puffer fish tempura, shirako, grilled eel, raw snow crab, raw goby fish, ozouni, kasujiru, and pumpkin soup. Every dish was delicious and satisfying. I highly recommend trying the kasujiru and ozouni here. The kasujiru is rich and goes well with rice. The ozouni contains mochi and is rarely seen, but here it was incredibly delicious and I ended up finishing it almost entirely by myself. If it's possible to purchase for New Year's, I would definitely want to take some home.
