I went again attracted by the cheap prices ○^^○ This day was a Saturday. In front of the store, there was a sign saying "Discount on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month!" Even though the prices are already low! The discounted items were limited, with the ¥100 pudding and cream puffs priced at ¥80. The apple pie, cheesecake, etc. priced at ¥250 were now ¥190. This time, I purchased cheesecake, cream puffs, apple pie, and a cake with pink chocolate on top (I forgot the name). Last time, I was satisfied with the taste considering the price, so I had high expectations. However, this time, I felt like "oh, it's cheap after all..." The apple pie had a tough crust and was hard to cut with a fork. The cheesecake could have had a stronger cheese flavor. The cake with pink chocolate on top had cream spread around it, but I couldn't figure out what flavor it was (not like whipped cream). ********************************************************************* It is located next to the Fushimi Hello Work. The exterior looks like a cafe, and it's dark from the outside, making you wonder if it's open. Even inside, the lighting was dim. The impression of the cakes I saw was old-fashioned, round cakes. I was surprised by the prices!! The basic price was ¥250, the next highest was ¥300, and the most expensive cake was a cake made with half of a small melon for around ¥450! The pudding was ¥100, and a slice of brandy cake was ¥120, all at reasonable prices. The cakes were not small despite being cheap, and the taste was not just average. Rather, at this price, this size and taste are a good deal. This time, I bought a Basque cake with rum and a chocolate cake. Both had a strong alcohol taste, more suitable for adults. (The chocolate one might have had brandy?) When I ate them after dinner, they really filled my stomach. I wanted to go back next time for the mille-feuille since they were sold out when I went for lunch.
