I was doing business meetings (BM) but my turn didn't come up, so I decided to visit this place. It's my first time around the City Hall area in Joyo City. They have a daily special, curry for 850 yen. It comes with a generous salad and root vegetables. The curry has chunky vegetables like potatoes and carrots. It's spicy and the curry is quite delicious. The miso soup with taro was thick and nostalgic. Inside the restaurant, there are posters and signs related to entertainment industry work. I wondered if they still do that kind of work.

During my visit in January 2020, I went to a restaurant called "Sousaku Kichi Kimama ni Oideyo" near the Joyo City Hall in Kyoto. The restaurant specializes in creative cuisine, Western dishes, and hamburgers. They offer a lunch menu with 5 different options, including a daily special. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy, with nostalgic toys displayed on shelves and vintage juice bottles. I tried the pork ginger stir-fry lunch set, which came with rice, soup, salad, a side dish, and a drink. The pork was tender with a good balance of flavors, and the side dishes included onions and green peppers. The marinated firefly squid had a rich flavor, and even though I'm not a big fan of it usually, I enjoyed it. The meal ended with a mild coffee that was easy to drink. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I also noticed they offer a one-coin bento box for takeout orders and a dinner course by reservation only.
