I bought this product as a souvenir. I purchased the "Fruit Jelly 15 types 25 pieces (¥1080)" as shown in the photo. As for a food review, I didn't buy anything for myself this time, so I'll skip it this time. With a large quantity for around 1100 yen, it is perfect for souvenirs that can be stored at room temperature!

Jelly sweets inspired by flowers and fruits that can be stored at room temperature. I tried them with white wine for a light evening snack. I imagined they would be like gummies, but when I bit into the "La France" and "Lemon" flavors, they had a nice chewiness with a crisp texture, not too sweet, and a natural flavor and aroma with a hint of fruit juice. They are elegant and not too overpowering for those who like sweet treats. I'm not a big fan of this type of dessert, but for a room temperature souvenir, which often consists of dry cookies, these jelly sweets with a feminine and vibrant image, as well as a somewhat fresh feel, could be quite popular. The design is also nice.

Jelly with plenty of fruit juice in the shape of a rose, offering various flavors to enjoy. It is soft, with a good elasticity, sweet but with a balanced fruit acidity, making it a dessert that is likely to be popular among a wide range of age groups.

On a certain holiday, while wandering around, I stopped by a shop in the food section of Mitsukoshi department store. The shop specializes in sweet jellies. The store is located near the entrance, and various types of jellies are displayed in showcases and on shelves. That day, I decided to get the "Assorted Bag of 15 Varieties (486 yen)" to eat on my own. I asked a cheerful and energetic woman for it. When I got home and tried them, I found that they were basically sweet jellies coated in sugar, each with a strong flavor like Victoria strawberry, sweet and flavorful peach, raspberry, muscat grape, pineapple, apricot, orange, apple, grapefruit, strawberry, grape, prune, red plum, blue plum, and lemon. They looked visually appealing, so they would make a nice gift. Thank you for the meal.

Located in the Sapporo Mitsukoshi basement, this shop offers a variety of fruit jellies. I purchased a 15-piece bag (450 yen excluding tax) as my wife wanted to try them. When we tried them at home, we found that they had a texture more like gummies than jelly, with a taste reminiscent of eating the actual fruit. Personally, as someone who isn't a big fan of gummies or fruits, it didn't quite suit my taste. However, I believe fruit lovers would enjoy them.

Received some gifts of various flavored jellies. I've always had the opportunity to eat this snack as a gift. Personally, I'm not a fan of it. It's oddly too sweet! Feels like eating a lump of sugar! It sticks to my teeth and the sweetness feels like it's harming my teeth, like a sharp sting! I was discussing this with my junior colleague A, and she said, "I understand!! I don't like it either!" We were laughing about it, when another junior colleague B joined and said, "I was so impressed by how delicious it was the first time I tried it!" Completely opposite opinions! Then A mentioned, "Nurse C said, 'I really like this!'" Such a divided opinion! We had a lively discussion in the break room about this snack. Some people don't like it, while others love it! It's a mysterious snack. What about you? Personally, the best thing about receiving gifts like this is definitely!! Bern's mille-feuille ❤️❤️ Nothing beats that!! Asagiri fried snacks from Himeya also bring so much joy with their deliciousness though (´▽`) Thank you for the treat! LOL

★I happened to stop by Mitsukoshi for the first time in March 2016 and found a shop where I wanted to order gifts. I purchased it immediately ♫ [Flower Jelly 6 pieces] 648 yen The colors and flavors are as follows. Green → Blue Plum Red → Peach Yellow → Lemon Orange → Apricot Blue → Yogurt Purple → Raspberry All of them have a gentle taste with a scent of flavor. The texture is not as elastic as gummy candies, and it feels moist for jelly. There are also fruit-shaped ones and flower jellies with 9 pieces, so I would like to try them.

It was very enjoyable and a great deal, limited to 600 bags. ◆◆◆◆◆◆ 【First Post】 ◆◆◆◆◆◆ The "Fluttering Elegant Chocolate," limited to 500 at Sapporo Mitsukoshi, has an elegant finish. SAIKA NO HOSEKI is a specialty store for fruit jellies! 【April 2012】 SAIKA NO HOSEKI is one of the few specialty stores for fruit jellies. It has been around for about 60 years since its establishment. They have stores in department stores from Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south. This store is located on the 2nd floor underground of Sapporo Mitsukoshi in the central area of Sapporo. For the exact location of the store, please check on Tabelog. SAIKA NO HOSEKI offers about 30 types of fruit jellies. They change the shape depending on the fruit. The mix type allows you to enjoy various flavors and shapes. It is a very elegant jelly. I don't eat jelly much these days, but if I were to eat it, it would be from SAIKA NO HOSEKI. Sapporo Mitsukoshi and the local long-established department store Marui Imai in Sapporo have become Sapporo Marui Mitsukoshi, and their first anniversary event was held at both department stores. The event took place from April 3rd to 9th. During this period, they were selling a limited edition of 500 "Fluttering Elegant Chocolates" at Sapporo Mitsukoshi. Naturally, I bought one. ■ Fluttering Elegant Chocolate It is wrapped in chocolate made from Haskap berries produced in Hokkaido. The packaging and taste are both of high quality. The balance between Haskap berries and chocolate is well done. The texture of the jelly is very good. It is a satisfying jelly in just one piece. 735 yen for 6 pieces. It was a well-crafted product suitable for the commemorative event. In a way, it has the taste of SAIKA NO HOSEKI. SAIKA NO HOSEKI is a great choice for a thoughtful gift. It is a jelly for adults. Delicious, thank you for the meal.

I stopped by Sapporo for a moment and bought some fruit gemstones for my family as they requested. They could have just ordered online, but they seem to not understand the internet very well and are worried about falling victim to fraud. The price was a little over 1000 yen. When I opened it at home, the colors were very beautiful. They could definitely be considered gemstones. It will surely be appreciated as a souvenir. I tried a few myself. While it doesn't have the juicy taste of actual fruit as emphasized on the website, it's still good in its own way. It's advertised as not too sweet, but I personally find it quite sweet. I prefer the more tart citrus flavors like orange and grapefruit. The unique feature of this product is its texture. Unlike regular gummies that have a slight bounce when you bite into them, these gummies have a chewy texture. I personally prefer the former, so it's hard to say, but it has a unique taste. The shapes are cute, resembling fruits, and the taste is enjoyable for both kids and adults, making it a great souvenir item.

My family brought home "Fruit Jewels" from Saitama Prefecture. I didn't know there was a shop here in Sapporo that sold them. "Fruit Jewels" are exquisite jelly candies with a unique texture. They are shaped like real fruits, with strawberries looking like strawberries and grapes like grapes, which is really cute. The taste is not too sweet and you can really taste the fruit flavor. What sets them apart is the texture. It's not like the texture of real fruit, but it has a juicy and mysterious elasticity to it. It's hard to describe, but these jelly candies have a unique and elegant sweetness that makes it hard to stop at just one piece.

In August 2012, I received a gift and would like to review it as it was very delicious. "Sai Kono Takara" is a fruit jelly specialty store in Saitama Prefecture. They use fruit extracts from fresh fruits to make jellies that are full of flavor. I received a gift set with 15 different flavors, including rose-shaped jellies that looked beautiful. My daughter also enjoyed it and said it was delicious. This authentic fruit jelly can be enjoyed by both children and adults. The company's strong commitment to creating fruit jellies using pectin extracted from citrus fruit peels has resulted in these colorful and sparkling fruit jellies, hence the name "Sai Kono Takara" (Colorful Fruit Jewels). They are particular about using fruits from various countries, including Japan, that have grown deliciously in their local climates. The jellies retain the natural flavor of the fruits due to the careful selection of rich fruit juice and juicy fruit pulp. They use high-quality sugar, resulting in a subtly sweet and refreshing taste. There are 29 fruit-shaped jellies, as well as cute flower and leaf-shaped jellies. They are not only visually appealing but also truly delicious, capturing the essence of each fruit. They also have a good shelf life, making them perfect for gifts. I would love to use them as gifts next time. Thank you for the delicious treat!

Review of March 2022: Received a gift from an acquaintance who is transferring to Kanto in the spring. Grateful for the gift. It's a large box with 15 pieces of sweet treats. The surface is firm and sugary, with a slightly rough texture. It's softer than gummy candies but firmer than jellies. A subtle fruity flavor. Thank you for the treat!
