Located a 2-minute walk from Keihan Kowata Station and a 6-minute walk from JR Kowata Station in Uji City, this modern Indian restaurant offers a great value lunch set, including Naan Curry Set (with salad and drink) starting from 850 yen. I visited during dinner time and chose the Lucky Set for 1,180 yen (with salad and drink), which included minced meat and eggplant Keema Curry (daily special). The Lucky Set was a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered a mild curry with no strong flavors that was easy to eat, with garlic naan on the side. The set menu was a good deal and they also had other a la carte options. I saw someone at another table order yakisoba, which looked delicious, so I want to try it next time.

Tandoori Mahala, a spice curry and naan restaurant, has opened near Keihan Kowata Station. For lunch, I ordered the chicken curry with lots of vegetables, which came with chicken, salad, and lassi in a set. The cheese naan was big and delicious. I would like to go back for dinner next time.
