A very beautiful soccer-specific stadium. I think that the stadium in Kashiwa has a wonderful sense of presence as a soccer-specific stadium, but this one also has its own unique charm. The facilities are also very well-equipped. There are shops both outdoors and indoors, which is fantastic. I should have gone into the indoor shops as well.

First time watching a game at Sanga Stadium. The stadium seems great with a close view of the pitch. The food options inside the stadium are not as abundant as other stadiums, but I ordered the Luro mixed noodles and spring roll set. The spring rolls had traditional fillings as well as ham and cheese, and even some sweet fillings. The Luro mixed noodles came in a deep bowl for easy mixing, but it made it a bit harder to eat. The taste was as expected and delicious. The prices were reasonable, but the portion size was a bit small. Overall, it seems like a good value compared to other stadium food options.

In the rain, victory beer! Went to Kyoto for an away game at "Sanga Stadium" to support Avispa. I've always wanted to see Sanga Stadium once. Heading west from central Kyoto to JR Kameoka Station, there were posters welcoming Avispa fans. The stadium is indeed new, clean, and functional. Some issues with people flow in certain areas, but the 1st floor had a food court-like area which was nice. It's a shame it was raining, but still, beer! I got front-row seats in the visitor section, which was closer than any other stadium I've been to! Plus, we won the game 1-0. Honestly, I thought Kyoto would be tough like last year when Avispa struggled, so these 3 away points are huge! We won against Kyoto 5 years ago too, so it seems lucky. Second visit to Sanga Stadium. It was pouring rain, but it's only a 3-minute walk from Kameoka Station and has a roof, so it's comfortable. The gourmet options still lack the Kyoto flair, but I tried the signature "Sanga Steak" for 1000 yen. It wasn't freshly made, so it was cold, but the meat was surprisingly tender and tasty. It's mainly lean meat, slightly thin, but still has a meaty flavor. The ponzu jelly sauce with dashi and green onions added a delicious Japanese touch. Good snack. Despite only half the capacity of 8000 people, the food stalls are slow. Even during the game, there are long lines. On the plus side, there are beer vendors, which is rare for a soccer stadium. It's a fantastic stadium for soccer watching, but improvements are needed in the food menu and service speed.

Sanga Stadium is located right by Kameoka Station. In 2020, they opened a Taiga drama museum for "Kirin ga Kuru" within the facility. The food court before entering seems to be popular for dining. The stadium itself has limited gourmet options, with typical stadium foods like rotating potatoes and takoyaki. I tried some Kyoto-style pickled fried chicken. The atmosphere with the blue sky and green grass is the best accompaniment for beer while watching the game. It's a compact stadium, similar to Panasonic Stadium in Suita, with about half the capacity. I hope they add more Kyoto-style gourmet options in the future. I would love to see the stadium full once they reach J1. However, I am concerned about the lack of toilets and potential congestion to the station.
