Arrived at 17:42. I waited outside in a line of 11 people. I purchased my meal ticket after being called by the staff and they collected it at my seat. The staff was polite and I really liked their service. I ordered the ramen for 880 yen with extra toppings for 350 yen. I was seated at 18:24 and my ramen was served at 18:27. The soup had medium thick noodles, 5 slices of chashu, seasoned egg, chopped green onions, daikon radish, and bamboo shoots. The soup seemed to be a seafood pork bone broth and it was delicious, with a rich flavor. The medium thick noodles were chewy and very tasty. The chashu was flavorful and there were 5 slices which added to the enjoyment. The seasoned egg was perfectly cooked with a good amount of sweetness and runniness, which I really enjoyed. Both the soup and the noodles were delicious and I want to try other items on the menu too. I noticed a line from the train platform to the ticket gate staircase which made me wonder, and indeed it was for this restaurant. While waiting in line, a regular customer mentioned that it was busier than usual, so on a non-holiday it might have been a shorter wait.

I had the Abura Soba for 800 yen. I couldn't forget the delicious Abura Soba I had when I visited during the New Year, so I went back to have it again. The homemade chewy noodles are so tasty when mixed with the rich sauce. It's so good that I finish it quickly, so I might stop by again even if I'm just passing by. The ticket machine has been updated too!

Arrived at 6 PM on a Saturday night, had to wait about 30 minutes. The area around the shop had a deep atmosphere, which was great. The ramen was based on dried fish and very delicious. It didn't have much of the distinct smell or bitterness of dried fish, so even though I'm not a big fan of dried fish, I found it very tasty. Since they only open at night, it may be a bit challenging to visit, but I definitely want to go back.

First visit. This restaurant has a high level of difficulty in visiting due to its short evening hours of 2.5 hours. I ordered a 500 yen special side dish (such as rare chashu or juicy meat) and ramen. The noodles were smooth and chewy. The soup was mild and easy to drink with no saltiness or richness. It seemed to have a strong taste of dried fish, despite being a seafood and pork bone broth. The best part was the hospitality of the owner and the waitress. Their service alone makes me want to come back again. Thanks to their service, the deliciousness of the food may have tripled. I confidently recommend this restaurant.

This time, I had tsukemen for the first time in a while! I'm not sure how to describe it, but the texture of this noodle is truly unique. The surface is relatively soft, but it has a good firmness and a satisfying crunchiness that is addictive. I like that it doesn't get too mixed up with the soup, it has a perfect balance where neither one overpowers the other. I always regret not ordering a larger size. It just slides down so smoothly.

I visited the ramen shop "Sansanto" located a 1-minute walk from Higashi-Jujo for the first time on a weekday night. I bought a meal ticket from the ticket machine and waited for about 15 minutes before entering. I ordered tsukemen with a seasoned egg topping. The noodles were homemade and chewy! The soup was also delicious with a seafood flavor! However, maybe because I had high expectations due to being listed as a top 100 restaurant on Tabelog, it didn't blow me away.

I had some business in Higashi Jujo, and since it was evening, I decided to grab dinner somewhere before heading back. I checked out Eatery Reviews and found that "Sanshito" had high ratings nearby, so I decided to go there. When I arrived at 18:07, there was no line so I walked in. The restaurant was full, so I had to wait outside. While waiting, just like in the reviews, I got bitten by a mosquito. At 18:09, the previous customers left and I entered the restaurant. I bought a ticket for "Ramen 880 yen, extra topping 350 yen" from the ticket machine inside and was guided to a counter seat. I handed over my ticket and waited. At 18:14, the ramen with extra toppings arrived. It came with seasoned egg, low-temperature cooked pork shoulder chashu (5 pieces), menma, pickled radish, chopped green onions, and more. I immediately tried the soup, which was delicious with a rich flavor of pork bone and seafood, complemented by the anchovy taste. The medium-thick noodles paired well with the soup. The tender low-temperature cooked pork shoulder chashu had a flavorful taste. The menma was tasty, and the seasoned egg, though not runny, had a good flavor. The pickled radish added a nice touch. Before I knew it, the bowl was empty. Another delicious meal tonight. Thank you!

This ramen shop, which has short business hours and always has a long line, was hard to visit. Since I sat at the counter seat for drinking, I didn't mind the line too much. I ordered the regular ramen, and when I tried the soup, it had a complex and rich flavor based on bonito broth that enveloped my mouth. The combination with green onions was excellent, and I almost finished all the soup (lol). The homemade noodles were smooth and had a strong texture. If I had been hungrier, I would have finished all the soup. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant was already packed as soon as it opened for the day! It's a popular spot located very close to Higashi-Jujo Station. The building is quite old, but it has a lot of charm. There are only 6 counter seats, and the place is run by a couple and 3 part-time staff members. I tried their basic ramen, which was a seafood pork bone broth ramen. It's one of the best I've ever had! The noodles were incredibly chewy, leaving a lasting impression. Some people may not like the chewiness, but I personally love it. I definitely want to go back for more!

On a summer Saturday evening, I arrived about 5 minutes before the 6pm opening time and found that the first round of customers were already seated. There were about 5 people waiting in line outside. The style was to buy a food ticket first and then line up to order. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and it was a bit tough due to the humid weather. I wished I had brought a drink with me. I ordered the regular ramen. The lightly seasoned dried fish broth and chewy noodles were really delicious! The daikon radish sprouts added a perfect accent and were tasty. It was worth the wait.

Tamashii Ramen, located in the retro-lined area just a 2-minute walk from Higashijujo Station, offers a bowl of ramen for 880 yen. This was my first visit, and I arrived 20 minutes before opening to find myself as the second customer. By opening time, there were already over 10 people waiting in line, so the fact that the shop opened 10 minutes early was greatly appreciated. I was torn between ordering oil ramen and regular ramen, but ended up choosing the latter. The interior of the shop was filled with a nostalgic Showa era atmosphere, which I found irresistible. The ramen arrived in just over 10 minutes - the homemade noodles had an amazing chewiness. These noodles would definitely be perfect for oil ramen. The soup, a blend of fish and pork bone broth, had a rich flavor with a slight hint of thickness and a pleasant texture. The toppings included chashu pork, green onions, bamboo shoots, and menma, all of which were delicious. This bowl of ramen was perfectly harmonized and balanced in every aspect. I enjoyed it so much that I want to go back again soon. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

After work, I always used to barely make it in time, but today I managed to get there just in time! And I didn't have to wait long, so I was super lucky. After much deliberation, I decided on ramen today. I usually drink up the soup with gratitude at delicious restaurants, but this one has a firm saltiness yet it's not too strong. It doesn't make me thirsty at all. And even with a large serving of noodles, they disappear quickly (tears). I'll definitely try to visit again.

I went to a ramen shop in Higashi-Jujo. It is located on the west side of the north exit. It looked quite cool from the entrance (lol) but I was able to enter without waiting. I purchased a food ticket and chose the regular ramen with an additional seasoned egg. The soup was delicious, maybe based on dried sardines? The noodles were homemade medium-thick and had a smooth texture. This time I had ramen, but I think it would be nice to enjoy the smooth texture with tsukemen. I will order it next time! Ramen: 880 yen Seasoned egg: 120 yen

Ramen Kanto Summer Expedition 16⚓️ The visit difficulty is high, this was my first visit in search of Tonkotsu Seafood ramen that caught my interest. The wheat-flavored smooth medium-thick noodles are easy to slurp and have a great throat feel. The chewy and bouncy texture of the noodles is impressive and the noodles themselves are delicious. The seafood flavor and umami are slightly prominent in the light Tonkotsu Seafood soup, with a gentle mouthfeel. The soup has a mellow richness without being heavy, with a subtle sweetness that makes it hard to stop drinking. The garnish of kaiware is also good. The tender pork chashu with a strong meaty flavor and the crunchy texture of menma are also delicious. A nostalgic and heartwarming ramen. The noodles are delicious, and I want to try the maze soba and tsukemen as well. It was incredibly delicious. Thank you for the meal. ・*--------------------ー Charm☆Ramen @ Higashijujo Ramen (¥880) 19:11 Connection 2nd 19:19 Seated 19:24 Served 【Business Hours】: 18:00-20:30 【Regular Holiday】: -Monday, Thursday *--------------------ー* ... #HomemadeNoodles #Charm☆Ramen #Ramen #TonkotsuSeafoodRamen #SeafoodTonkotsuRamen #TonkotsuSeafood #TonkotsuSeafoodSoup #SeafoodRamen #Ramen #ChineseNoodles #TokyoRamen #HigashijujoRamen #TokyoGourmet #HigashijujoGourmet #TokyoLunch #TokyoRamen #RamenLover #RameluGourmetMemo #0811

Keihin Tohoku Line, Higashi-Jujo Station. Right as you exit, the entire building has a ruined atmosphere from a distance. They are open only at night. Sannto. This is my second visit, without any photos and vague memories. So, I decided to visit again. Last time I had soy sauce, so this time I tried the salt ramen. It cost 880 yen, with an extra flavored egg for 120 yen. Dried fish is served on the side. The soy sauce ramen was mellow, but the salt ramen had a sharp flavor. The homemade noodles had an amazing texture. I wonder what's in them. They were bouncy like they had tapioca in them. It was delicious.

Ordered Abura Soba! Julie playing in the background! The Showa retro atmosphere is amazing!! The water served is in a kettle (^^) The area near the restaurant also had a nice retro vibe!! Maybe because it's something new to me... the Abura Soba tasted incredibly delicious!! The chewy noodles are irresistible (^^) You can enjoy it as a dipping noodle or ramen style with the seafood broth!! Towards the end, adding a splash of vinegar from the table makes it even better, so I recommend it (^^) Next time, I'd like to try their ramen!! Thank you for the meal (^^)

I had been wanting to visit this ramen shop in the Higashi-Jujo area, but the fact that they only open at night was a barrier. I finally got the chance to visit and I was not disappointed. The shop is located right outside the north exit of the station, and despite being surprised by the depth of the surrounding shops, I arrived around 6:30 pm on Friday and there were already 4 people ahead of me. As the line grew longer, I could tell it was a popular place. I purchased my meal ticket first. After reading reviews, I was torn between ramen and abura soba, but since it was my first visit, I chose the ramen. The soup had a gentle taste of animal broth, easy to eat, and the type you could enjoy daily. The noodles were relatively standard in thickness but had a chewy texture, which made me understand why the abura soba is popular there. The meat topping added to the satisfaction of the dish. Looking around, I noticed that many customers were eating abura soba or tsukemen. It seemed like regulars were choosing dishes that allowed them to savor the noodles more. I regret not trying both dishes in one visit. Next time, I will go for the abura soba, looking forward to revisiting soon!

After more than 10 years, I revisited this place because I couldn't forget the rich flavors of the seafood and meat-based dishes. I arrived around 6:30pm and was lucky to only have to wait for one person ahead of me. I ordered the special ramen with an additional topping of char siu. I remember the char siu, which is cooked at a low temperature, being very delicious. Eating it after so long, I felt that the broth was a bit less flavorful than I remembered. However, it was still delicious. The dry ramen also receives high praise, so I would like to try that next time.

I visited at 18:20 on Sunday, and luckily there was no line so I was able to get a seat right away! This time, I ordered ramen in a large portion with an egg topping! The light soup went well with the noodles! The chashu was also delicious with just the right amount of cooking! I will visit again if I have the chance!

Ramen with extra meat visited just before closing. There were 3 people waiting. The balance of the soup, noodles, chashu, and toppings was perfect. I even drank up all the soup. It wasn't too light or too strong. The turnover rate is also good, which I really appreciate. I will definitely be back.

Oil soba with extra meat, and a glass of draft beer. On this scorching hot day, there was no other choice. The small beer glass was perfect, and it came with a little snack. It was just right for passing the time while waiting for the ramen. I happily waited for the oil soba. It came with a side soup, and it was interesting to follow the regulars and use it to change the flavor after eating a bit, making it taste like ramen. The oil soba had delicious noodles and the rare char siu with extra meat was tasty. It would have been a happy experience even without the beer, but with it, it was three times the happiness. They are only open at night, so it's not easy to go, but whenever I do, I always have a great time. Thank you for the meal!
