This is a craft beer shop located inside Shinpu-kan. The lunch menu offers curry and plates, and this time I had the salmon and avocado Yukke bowl. The diced salmon and avocado are generously coated in a sweet sauce. There was also lettuce on top. Showa era music plays loudly, creating a mysterious yet cozy atmosphere that feels like a mix of a bar and a cafe. Despite the small size of the shop, there are various seating options such as counter seats, window seats, and tables in the back, making it easy for solo diners to enter as well.

I went around 11 o'clock. I ordered a beer for 850 yen and a salmon and avocado yukke bowl for 1,000 yen at the counter, and paid with PayPay. They said I could sit anywhere that was available. I was served the beer as soon as I sat down. I can't remember the brand, but it was a refreshing and easy-to-drink beer. The yukke bowl had a salad about half the size of the bowl, making it easy even for women to eat. The salmon and avocado matched well with the rice and were delicious. I went to the counter to order a second beer and asked the staff for a recommendation. The second beer was also easy to drink and delicious. The interior of the restaurant was stylish, and I noticed other customers enjoying red wine. There was also a terrace seat, which I thought would be nice on a sunny day.

Inside Shinpukan, there is a craft beer shop. While waiting for a shaved ice shop inside the building, I decided to pass the time by drinking craft beer. There were outdoor table seats and bar counter seats inside where you could see outside through the glass. It was too hot outside, so I chose to stay inside to cool off. (It seemed like the outdoor seats were more popular with foreign customers.) I ordered a New England IPA half pint for 850 yen. The beer was bitter and delicious, and it was nice to cool off. There were also many imported beers lined up in the fridge inside, and it seems like quite a few customers buy them to take home. I received a notification for my turn at the shaved ice shop, so I left the store.

It was empty during lunchtime on weekdays. My main purpose was craft beer, but the smell of curry was so strong that I couldn't eat. There was a stylish server embedded in the wall, probably linked to the order number. I ordered a "IPA" glass for 850 yen. It seemed like a pub style where you pay each time. But if you drink multiple beers, you can settle the bill later. I ended up having three beers, and they were all quite good. The staff were all women at that time, but they were all friendly and knowledgeable about beer. It left a slightly expensive impression, but it's craft beer so it's reasonable, I guess. I really like Shinpukukan (*^^*)

New Kaze-kan is a shop on the first floor. The stylish interior exudes the warmth of wood and greenery. The bright and soothing music makes you feel happy. The towels and cutlery seem fancy and high-quality. I ordered the Salmon and Avocado Yukke Don for 1000 yen, which I had been curious about. It looks colorful and delicious! The salmon includes various cuts, from firm to fatty, which pair well with the avocado. The yukke sauce is not Japanese-style, but has a subtle Korean dressing flavor. The salad is plentiful, with about a quarter being rice at the bottom. The dressing has a taste reminiscent of a stylish cafe. There is wasabi greens in the salad, which adds a hint of spice when eaten with the yukke. According to the staff, there are days when they use karashi greens in the salad. It's clever to include Japanese herbs in the salad as a hidden flavor. It was delicious! The portion is light and perfect for a quick bite. It was tasty! Thank you. I wanted to take a stylish break here!! It seems like a place with mostly foreign customers during the day, and it's a craft beer bar with various craft beers available. The craft beer is priced at 800 yen for a small 260cc glass. They also have a selection of craft beers in bottles and cans. I ordered the daily special, which was an ahihijo. The food took a bit of time to arrive, so be aware of that. I forgot to take a photo of the craft beer from Kyoto... I also ordered a beer cocktail, which I drank more than half of. The ahihijo arrived, and it was hot and made with shrimp and mushrooms, but it lacked a strong broth flavor. Since it's not a specialized shop, it might be better to order the usual items like fried chicken. Overall, the atmosphere was great, so it would be a good place for a date or something similar.

Beer bar on the first floor of Shinpukan. They have draft beer and a large selection of canned beers, making it fun to choose. During the day, they offer hearty meal options, but the main focus is on light snacks. Before 4 pm on weekdays, there were two groups of customers already seated and two groups arrived after us. There are only two regular tables, the rest are high chairs. It's not a place for lingering.
[Food Ordered]
Carrot Râpé ¥500
Homemade smoked three kinds of platter ¥950
French fried potatoes ¥600
Kyoto Brewing / Ishin Denshin ¥800
Coconut vanilla chocolate cake ¥900
(The last two are beers)
Both beers were quite unique and surprisingly delicious. The Kyoto Brewing beer had a slightly soy sauce-like taste, while the other one had a shake-like flavor. The cake, with a strong vanilla and sweet taste, paired well with the beer. It was a new and interesting discovery. The food was simple and basic, nothing extraordinary but satisfactory. The location is good, and I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered a homemade meat sauce and bechamel sauce doria for 1000 yen. It is a type where the sauce is poured over white rice and baked. It's not really to my liking. The portion is like a light meal. It's just right when you want to eat something light. There is also a terrace seat available when the weather is nice.

After work on Friday, I stopped by the Gion Festival. The streets of Shijo and Karasuma were packed with pedestrians, but as I got closer to Shinpukukan, the crowds thinned out. It was pretty empty, so I took some photos. There was only one type of Swedish beer available, which was a bit disappointing.

I didn't know that there was a craft beer shop in Shinpukukan called DIG THE LINE BOTTLE & BAR. It must have been around for about 2 years, so I guess back then when Tatsuki-san or Gyoza no Ryosuke-san went there, I probably had no interest in alcohol at all. The Weizen S (240ml) for 800 yen is a refreshing amber liquid poured from the tap. The regular (R) size is 400ml for 1,300 yen. The Weizen with its fizzy and fine bubbles is my favorite. It's the Weizen from Tottori Oyama G Beer. It's more crisp than mellow, so it disappears quickly on hot days haha. Looking at the tap lineup, they have IPA, Weizen, Brown Ale, and Sour Ale, so they can cater to various preferences. Since it's a weekday, after 12 o'clock, people working in the area come for lunch, adding liveliness. There are terrace seats too, and I think it would be cool if foreigners used them. I'd like to try the diverse lunch menu with dishes like Guyan, pasta, spiced curry, falafel, and gapao. I'll visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The falafel, prosciutto, olive and carrot salad was simply delicious. The prosciutto was of high quality and the falafel was crispy on the outside and refreshing green on the inside, possibly mixed with mint. The ginger ale was also tasty, making it a great place to relax in the evening. I'm curious about their lunch menu as well.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday around 11:45 am. There was one group of customers already there, and shortly after, another two groups arrived.
- Gapao Rice: 1000 yen
- The rice was Basmati rice, not just in appearance but also in texture, it was of high quality.
- The boiled egg had a firm white but a liquid yolk.
- The portion size was just right, leaving room for dessert.

This is a bar, right? As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, I have never visited a bar before. But since I can use it for lunch, I decided to stop by. I came to see the newly renovated Shinpukan and since it was lunchtime, I wanted to eat somewhere. It was early, so it seemed like I could enter any place by myself, but I found this place near the exit! I love bread, so I decided to go in. The pita bread was filled with lots of vegetables and chicken. It didn't look that big, but it was quite filling. It lasted me until dinner time. The lemonade was also refreshing and sour. There seem to be two types of pita sandwich for lunch, but this place is probably more suited for nighttime. It might be hard to enter at night. If they have a more fulfilling lunch menu, I would love to come back multiple times.

The beer bar standing at Shinpukan offers a stylish space with both standing and seating options, suitable for both young people and the elderly. You can choose between 400cc and 220cc beers priced around 1300 yen and 700 yen. The food menu is diverse, with options like pintxos and fried chicken. This trendy spot is sure to be a hit!

I went on a business trip to Kyoto and decided to visit Another8 in Meguro, as it seems to be related to it. It was around 12 p.m. on Thursday and there were no other customers. The waitress was very beautiful. I had a Cider Maybe for 1,100 yen and a Flying Gecko for 700 yen. Cold beer on a hot day is the best! The restaurant has a rating of 3.05 on Tabelog (as of August 2020).

Inside the Shinpukan building, there was a stylish craft beer bar! I happened to come across it and was captivated. The glass-walled interior was spacious, with the doors wide open, creating a sense of openness. I was planning to go for a drink, but I was drawn in and decided to step inside. The spacious interior had a DJ booth-like setup, and they also offered the service of bottling beer for you! So, it's a bottle bar, I guess. In addition to the array of craft beers, they also had Japanese sake available. I ordered a brand called Cherry Pie. You place your order at the counter, and pay there as well. The taste was subtly sweet and mellow. It was delicious! The aroma filled my mouth. I had a lively conversation with the girl at the shop and almost ended up being late for my drinking party (sweat). But it was a fun time, a delicious moment! Thank you♪

In early August, amidst the scorching heat of Kyoto, I finished work early and had some time before dinner, so I wandered around Shinpukukan. All the other shops were crowded, so I decided to stop by this relatively empty place for a quick drink (^O^). It's located just a 1-minute walk from Karasuma Oike Station, on the first floor of the newly opened Shinpukukan. The Original Craft Beer - NO ROMANCE, size S, costs ¥750. The shop has a decent size with counter and table seats, but it was a bit hot due to social distancing and ventilation efforts. There are also open table seats outside, but unfortunately, it's still a bit hot even though it's dusk. However, the beer is cold and delicious (^○^) with a complex taste typical of original beer. The prices are a bit on the high side. It would be nice to have a drink on the terrace during a cooler evening. Thank you for the meal (^○^).

I visited the newly renovated Shinpu-kan and enjoyed a beer on a hot day. It had been a while since I had an IPA, but it was delicious as always. The potato salad I ordered was stylish and tasty. It was a wonderful and trendy restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Finally visited a beer bar with a variety of beers to try. I tried different ones, but the most delicious was the stout. There are many cute labels on the cans and bottles, so I would like to visit again to enjoy and maybe take some home. The lineup seems to change, so it should be enjoyable to try different ones.

I wanted to visit the restaurant Dig The Line Volt & Bar for the first time. They have a 1,400 yen English beer and a 950 yen assorted smoked snacks. With these treats, I can definitely do my best this year. The atmosphere is also great, so please check it out!
