The grilled chicken skewers were delicious with just the right amount of salt. The venison skewers were also very tasty! The recommended bagna cauda was incredibly delicious, and it paired perfectly with the sauce and vegetables, making me realize how tasty celery can be. All the dishes were delicious and the portion sizes were just right! There was a wide variety of drinks, including craft beer and homemade fruit highballs. The prices were also reasonable, making it a great place to stop by on a whim!

Watching soccer at Sangastadium in Kameoka. Before that, I enjoyed some local vegetables in front of the station. About 70% of Kyoto-grown vegetables are from Kameoka, and this bar is run by local farmers. The atmosphere is like a calm bar, but the master is a friendly farmer with a sunburned face. First, I had a salad with lemon dressing. The contents vary depending on the vegetables harvested that day, but on this day, it was a lineup of mitsuba, celery greens, and salad kale with strong flavors. The dish is unique, with the salad arranged to look like the hair of a famous person. I got Hideyo Noguchi. The salad is crunchy with a refreshing flavor from the lemon and salt dressing. I usually don't order salads at restaurants, but I would definitely come back for this one. The grilled skewers are also locally sourced. The yakitori is very tasty and affordable. The deer skewer is also from Kameoka. Speaking of which, Kameoka and Tanba are also famous for game meat. The deer meat was really delicious. Deer meat can often be too bland and dry, but these skewers had a good balance of flavor. They seem like they would go well with red wine. The vegetable skewers are quite generous in portion. And all this for only 100 yen... truly impressive for farmers. They don't just grill them, but take the extra step to prepare them before grilling. The eggplant is sautéed in oil and then grilled with anchovy sauce. The okra is grilled after being lightly pickled. The cucumber is pounded and then grilled on a skewer. These also change depending on the season. The mitsuba underneath the skewers is also delicious. I almost forgot the start time of the soccer game because I was enjoying the food and drinks so much. Aside from the smoking area, I really liked this place and would prioritize visiting it if I come to Sangastadium again.

The atmosphere of the Italian restaurant for young people on the 2nd floor of a building near Kameoka Station entrance to the shopping street worried me that it might be too young for my age, but the master, who seemed to enjoy really delicious things, explained the various types of beer in red, white, and black, each with a different glass, recommended something, and we had a delicious and enjoyable time. He also promptly responded to our order of shochu, and it went well with the garlic shrimp. The chicken skewers were also creatively prepared, so we never got tired of eating them. I forgot what we ate, but we had delicious dishes full of local ingredients. This is definitely a reliable restaurant.
