Today, I had a light meal with shrimp tofu skin at the tofu restaurant "Saga Tofu Sanchu" located in a residential area a short walk from JR Saga Arashiyama Station. It is located along the road leading from Saga Arashiyama Station to Arashiyama. I enjoyed a beer and shrimp tofu skin skewer (400 yen) at the stall in front of the restaurant. The wait was quite long. The tofu skin was a bit small, but the taste was okay. However, the slightly higher price is probably due to being in a tourist area.
