This day was very busy... Recently, we changed to a new car because our family is growing, and now it seems like it's time to change the bath and washroom in my son's house as well, as it's almost 30 years old. The new car cost around 4.5 million yen, and now with this additional expense of around 1 million yen, it's quite painful. But there's no choice, so we decided to go see some showrooms... After that, we did some shopping, had dinner, and it was already past 7 o'clock. Since we enjoyed the food at Warai restaurant the other day, we decided to go to the one in Nishioji, but when we parked the car and were getting our grandson out, the lights went out. It turns out that they close at 7:30, so we couldn't go in... Another disappointment. We just can't seem to catch a break. We couldn't even have a proper meal. We gave up and headed towards Komeda's, but they had also closed at 7:30. We were left stranded without dinner. On our way back, we called every restaurant on Nishioji Street, and finally found one that was still open (until 8:45, last order). Well, we've eaten here many times before and the taste is reassuring, so it was a relief... Our grandson had a children's set for 350 yen (so cheap!!), my son and his wife had the rich and tasty ramen for 750 yen, with a side of fried chicken set for 250 yen and gyoza set for 250 yen each. I had the special soy sauce flavored ramen for 750 yen, with a side of fried rice for 250 yen, and my wife had the salt ramen for 720 yen (all prices excluding tax). The children's set included fried rice and ramen (with corn, green onions, and naruto), 2 mini jellies, and a choice of toy!! All for 350 yen, so cheap!! They were happily eating and saying "delicious, delicious". The special soy sauce ramen had a consistent taste. I thought it would have been better with less pork fat, but overall, this ramen is quite delicious. The fried rice was at a normal level of deliciousness. It feels like it's been made in advance, similar to the fried rice at Osho. It's better than Osho, but... The salt ramen was light but had a good depth of flavor. The rich and tasty ramen is quite rich in fat, more suited for younger people... but my son and his wife really like it. Unlimited green onions, unlimited takuan, and extra rice is okay, so it's perfect for those who want a hearty meal. They said both the gyoza and fried chicken were delicious. In the end, despite everything, the food was quite delicious and we were all very full. The satisfaction level was high. And, it's quite cheap... Just like the curry the other day, ramen and curry seem to provide a high level of satisfaction for a low price.
