Please take a look at the photo first. Lemon carbonara set with creamy consommé soup and Italian salad, 3 kinds of appetizers. Lemon carbonara with lemonade. But in reality, no Italian salad or 3 kinds of appetizers, only 2. The lemon carbonara also had only 1 lemon slice instead of 3 as shown in the menu. The lemonade never arrived. The staff seemed to not remember the menu items, as they forgot to serve another customer's white fish meunière. I gave up on the lemonade and left without it. The atmosphere was unbearable. The lemonade was never offered before or after the meal, and there was no mention of it during the bill payment. The customer service was lacking, with no smiles or greetings for incoming customers. The restaurant is small, making it difficult to navigate between tables. Overall, I was looking forward to the lemon carbonara, but it lacked lemon flavor and the carbonara itself was thin. It felt like the lemon was added just for the sake of it, with no real significance to the dish.

Lemon dumplings for 580 yen and Setoda hot lemonade for 530 yen. We wanted to use 500 yen each from the 2000 yen travel support we received, so we came to this designated store. The staff kindly split the bill for us, which was much appreciated. The interior of the restaurant is small, but it has a nice Italian atmosphere with lemons hanging around and a bright feel. The food had a lot of lemon-flavored dishes, and even the drinks were lemon-based, which was very delicious.

I used it for lunch. The first time was with a friend about a year and a half ago, and this time I used it alone. The inside of the store had a lot of yellow chairs and lemon decorations, making me feel fresh (laughs). I ordered the plate set of oil-drizzled chicken. I was surprised to see a big piece of fried chicken on top. It was crispy, juicy, and hot, and I enjoyed it while it was still hot. I remember ordering a lemon mojito or sour last time, and the strong seasoning that goes well with alcohol is also recommended for day drinking. Next time, I want to order lemon cream pasta.

A restaurant in Kyoto that is inspired by a dining establishment on the famous Capri Island in Italy, known for its Lemon Cave and being a major lemon producer. It is the first lemon cuisine specialty shop in Kyoto, using locally sourced Setouchi lemons abundantly. Dishes include Lemon Salt Oil Drizzled Chicken, Chicken Nanban with Lemon Tartar, Lemon Keema Curry, and Duck with Lemon Salt Ramen. They offer a variety of lemon dishes for lunch as well. One recommended set is the Lemon Carbonara Set (1580 yen) which includes Creamy Consomme Soup, Italian Salad, 3 types of appetizers, Lemon Carbonara, Lemonade, and a lemon-themed meal. Enjoy the lemon-infused experience!

Visited after 8 pm. There were 3 tables and 5 seats at the counter, with very few empty seats. The bright and cheerful atmosphere of the shop, with a color scheme of white and lemon yellow, seems to be popular among young people. Lemon is prominently featured in most dishes and drinks. While beer is not served with lemon, the highball had a strong lemon flavor. Ordered fried chicken and pizza. Both were delicious, but the overwhelming lemon taste might become tiresome after a while. Using ingredients with strong acidity and aroma requires some consideration. The ambiance of the shop is great, so it will be a favorite for those who like it.

I always saw this restaurant facing Karasuma Street from the city bus and it caught my attention. I made a reservation to secure a seat since the interior of the restaurant cannot be seen from the bus window. I went for lunch and first ordered a beer and a glass of red wine. The lunch menu was a set meal, so I chose oyster fry with lemon tartar sauce and roast beef bowl. The soup was consommé with soy milk. The oyster fry came with 5 pieces and the rice was mixed grain. A slice of lemon was served with the roast beef bowl, which was Hiroshima's Ikuchi Island lemon. A slice of lemon was also served with the oyster fry. The staff advised us to eat the lemon with the peel on. The lemon had a mild and not overpowering acidity. The restaurant was full of male customers that day.

I visited this restaurant near my hotel during my trip to Kyoto because it caught my eye every time I passed by. I parked at a nearby coin parking lot since there was no parking available at the restaurant. I entered around 1pm and there was only one other customer inside, and the restaurant was being run by a single staff member. I ordered the avocado hamburger, Caesar salad, and lemonade. The consomme soup had a rich flavor and was delicious! The restaurant had a lemon theme, with lemon slices served with the hamburger, which I could eat whole with the peel on. The hamburger was average. The two types of salad were very healthy and tasty. The lemonade was a bit sweet but very rich and delicious. As I ate, I found myself becoming more and more satisfied. The gentle flavors were delicious and I enjoyed my meal.

Ordering lemonade, you can tell they are particular about using lemons from Hiroshima. I enjoyed the softer taste compared to American restaurants. It seems like the lunch menu has changed, as ordering Lulohan came with soup and salad. It has been around for many years, and I hope it continues for a long time.

@Umeda: ★★☆☆☆ Tabelog rating 3.34 [Lemon-themed restaurant] I went to this place near my workplace because it seemed to have a lemon concept. However, the menu didn't have much lemon influence, which was disappointing. The slightly pricey food was just average in taste. I visited the restaurant around lunchtime on a weekday. I had passed by a few times and was curious. It was a hot day, so I ordered the white fish plate lunch for 880 yen. The kind master was running the place by himself, with 4, 2, and 1 other customers. The portion was quite generous, but the lemon sauce base with salt and pepper was delicately seasoned, making it easy for women to enjoy as well. The fish was very fresh and had a firm texture.

Caprese-style omelette for ¥640 was disappointing, not very flavorful. The 2 pieces of fried chicken for ¥330 were better than they were 5 years ago. The lemon itself was delicious as expected. The rice for ¥220 was an odd color, I wanted plain white rice. (I am a typical Japanese person) I visited right after my favorite restaurant closed, so I had no choice but to come here. I cook at home, but I wonder how many years of practice it would take to master cooking such small portions. At night, it's just a regular izakaya. It's not a good place for a meal. (You can get full for around ¥4000)

I visited around 18:15 on a regular day. There was one group of customers before me. - Caprese-style omelette for 640 yen: In the past, the eggs were fluffy and delicious, but this time it was more like a regular omelette. It also seemed like the portion size had decreased. It felt like there was less egg volume due to the change in texture. It might be because of the increase in prices for various ingredients. - Bacon and mushroom tomato risotto-style for 830 yen: Previously, the bacon added a rich flavor to the dish, which was very delicious. However, this time it was more traditional and had a light tomato taste. Personally, I prefer when the bacon adds a more fatty flavor to the dish.

I didn't make a reservation for the night, so I decided to go to a restaurant near the hotel. It's called Capri Island, which sounds nice, but it's actually just a name that came up through a game of Italian and lemon associations. The menu includes Caprese, of course. When I walked in, I was surprised to find that it's a small restaurant, not as spacious as a boat monitoring hut. It seems more suited for a quick meal rather than a leisurely dining experience. We ordered Caponata and white wine, but had to wait quite a bit, probably because they were short-staffed or because there were many orders. The Caponata seemed like it was just a pre-made dish being served, so I was wondering what was taking so long. We also ordered the Pizza Limone. I chose this restaurant because I was drawn to the Pizza Limone, but it turned out to be a frozen pizza with lemon on top, baked in a toaster oven and broiled with a burner. It's more of a quick meal rather than authentic pizza, and it doesn't compare to a real pizzeria. However, the Pizza Limone was still delicious. The combination of blue cheese and lemon was excellent. Wanting some protein, we also ordered additional fried chicken. Since fried chicken goes well with beer, we switched our drinks to beer. The menu had many drinks with lemon, but we ended up sticking to the classics. In terms of cost performance, it was average. It seems like they have many affiliated restaurants, and they also offer lunch service. If you try it out and like it, it might be worth using for dinner as well.

I had been curious for a while and finally had the chance to visit. I decided to try the limited quantity Lemon Steak Donburi. You can choose between 150g and 200g, and I went with 150g this time. It was quite filling with a nice amount of volume, and the addition of avocado was a pleasant surprise. The set also came with soup, salad, and two side dishes, so I left feeling satisfied. I look forward to enjoying a leisurely meal with lemon-flavored drinks next time.

I visited Capri Dining after a long time. I used to go for dinner before, but this time it was for lunch. I've always liked lemons so I had been keeping an eye on this place, and now lemons seem to be popular everywhere. This time, my friend and I ordered lemon steak and lemon ramen each, along with Kyoto vegetable soup and salad. You can eat the lemon as it is, which gives a sweet and sour taste. The lemon steak was a bit tough this time as we opted for the foreign meat option. It lacked the lemon flavor unless we used the lemon salt provided as a topping. The lemon ramen, on the other hand, was surprisingly delicious, almost like something you would find at a ramen shop! It also had salted lemon as a topping, but when dissolved, it was too salty. I think choosing something more ordinary from the menu is a safer bet!

I went for lunch at a place in Kyoto, near Gojo, with a striking yellow exterior. I entered alone and asked if it was okay to have alcohol even during lunch. The response was, "No, it's not allowed." I ordered the oyster fry plate. I can't remember what kind of soup it was, but it had some unique feature that I've forgotten. It was delicious. The plate came with oyster fry, salad, marinated carrots, macaroni, and lemon slices. Apparently, you can eat the lemon slices as they are. The oyster fry wasn't large but it was tasty. The lemon slices were sour, haha. When the ban is lifted, it might be nice to come for a lunch with beer included.

Located a little north of the Karasuma Gojo intersection, this restaurant focuses on lemon-based dishes, with lunch centered around set meals. The layout consists of counter seats in the front and table seats in the back. The interior is quite small, making it difficult to pass by if seated at the counter. The lunch menu includes a wide variety of options such as set meals, rice bowls, pasta, and ramen, all incorporating lemon in some way. For lemon lovers, it may be tempting to try them all. As a personal fan of lemon, I found it difficult to decide but ultimately chose a satisfying option. The Chicken Nanban with Lemon Tartar Sauce (900 yen) comes with a main dish, soup, salad, and two side dishes. The portion was larger than expected, and even men would find it satisfying. The lemon tartar sauce had a nice balance of lemon acidity, though it was milder than anticipated. It paired well with the Nanban sauce, and overall, the quality of the dish was good.

- Caprese-style omelette 580 yen I ordered this again because it was delicious last time!! The fluffy egg and caponata were amazing. This time the caponata was warm. The combination of hot egg and cold caponata was also delicious. - Tomato lemon risotto 580 yen The acidity of the lemon almost felt like the acidity of the tomato. It was like a toned-down version of the bacon and mushroom tomato risotto (750 yen). - Parmesan fried potato 450 yen The cheese looked beautiful. (Note: I couldn't take photos because I forgot my phone, so the image is a picture of the menu taken later.)

I visited the restaurant around 13:00 on a holiday. There were two groups of customers before me. - Lemon Ramen 950 yen - The soup had enoki mushrooms in it. - The salad dressing was on the stronger side. - Two side dishes were served on the same plate as the salad. The carrot side dish had a strong aroma. The short pasta salad was delicious. - Lemon Ramen The lemon was different from the fruity lemon that is usually on pasta, it was a strong lemon flavor. When the lemon mixed with the ramen soup, it became bitter. I thought if it was a fruity lemon, it wouldn't be bitter, but since it wasn't, maybe a mild fruity lemon would be overpowered by the ramen. It was nice to have duck on top.

I visited around 20:00 on a weekday. There was one group of customers before me. - Bacon and Mushroom Tomato Risotto Style 750 yen I was expecting something light, but it was a rich dish with the delicious fat of the bacon. The flavor of the bacon enveloped the whole dish and it was very tasty. Although the portion looked small, the greasiness of the bacon made it satisfying. - Lemon Potato Salad with Soft-Boiled Egg 480 yen It was very delicious! The chili powder or black pepper sprinkled on the surface paired well with the slightly lemon-flavored potato salad. I wanted more of the chili powder!!
