I ordered the half portion of butter chicken curry, but there was no chicken in it at all. Even though it was a half portion, I was hoping for at least one piece of chicken since it said "chunky." It's really disappointing. I won't be going back there again.

The curry with simmered vegetables had a rich flavor that was not like the typical food court curry. Apparently, they spend 100 hours making it, as advertised. I had no idea it had been featured on TV. On this day, "Suizu" at the Y.O.C store in Kyotanabe City was closed, so I ended up at the food court in Heiwado after searching nearby. I didn't have high expectations, but I ordered the Omukare (omelette curry) and my family ordered the curry with enough vegetables for half a day. We chose medium spiciness and added our own spices. The curry had a deep richness with a hint of spiciness that followed after the sweetness of the vegetables. It seemed to cater to a wide range of customers, from children to adults. Nowadays, there are plenty of delicious curry roux available, even for home cooking, but this curry was different and not something you could replicate at home. It was delicious. Today is Monday, December 6, 2021. My partner said they wanted to eat curry rice anywhere, so I searched in the southern part of Kyoto and found this place. It seems they recently opened, and there are only a few reviews, but the name is interesting. They haven't opened in Nara yet, so I decided to visit. Personally, I thought the food was quite delicious. I would like to try a different order next time. Thank you for the meal!

It's nice when curry and rice are served separately like in the photo. The menu showed the curry already poured over the rice, so when I saw the actual dish, I thought "That's stylish (laughs)." You can choose between mild and medium spiciness, and I chose mild. The mild curry was sweet and even children could eat it.

Beef & Chicken Mixed Curry for 869 yen. This place, "Kanda Curry Grand Prix," boasts about winning the grand prize twice. I don't know what "Kanda Curry Grand Prix" is, so I don't really care about winning it twice. The beef curry and chicken curry were both very ordinary with no special features. The amount of curry and rice was insufficient, so I didn't feel satisfied. It was just okay to eat once. Thank you for the meal. P.S. I've tried the curry from the restaurant that won the grand prize at "Kanda Curry Grand Prix" at other places, but even that curry wasn't particularly delicious. Is the level of "Kanda Curry Grand Prix" low? P.S. 2 It says it's the first store to open in Kansai, but wouldn't it be better not to open in Kansai anymore!?

Today, salad was included for free. I am happy because they have a half-size curry. I ordered the half-size curry again today.

I chose the spicy curry with "suj" (tendon) from various menu options. The curry had a hint of sweetness and the suj meat was tender and melted in my mouth.
