This day was a holiday, so I went to the "Uda Country Club" with a customer for a round of golf. We started at 7 am, so lunchtime was at 10 am! The score was okay, and I enjoyed lunch as a golfer. It had a shrimp tempura on top, along with beef, onions, leeks, and fried tofu, making it a classic Curry Udon. The broth was flavorful, slightly spicy, but still manageable. The thickness was not the typical Curry Udon thickness, more like a curry you'd pour over rice. So, despite the rice seasoning sprinkled on top, I ended up mixing the curry with the rice and enjoyed it. The udon had a good texture and a nice mouthfeel. With a warm body for the afternoon, I looked forward to some nice shots on the course. I came to play golf in Uji this weekend, and the weather is nice. Uji Country Club has a great view and is very convenient as it is close to the city. The food here is also highly recommended. Today, I had beef curry which was delicious with big chunks of meat. The curry udon is also said to be very tasty. I will try the curry udon next time!

This time, I tried the "Ultimate Lunch" which includes rolled omelette, rice, crab cream croquette, and miso soup. The rolled omelette was the perfect choice, it was voluminous, soft, and piping hot, which I highly recommend. It was delicious. I got the power I needed for the afternoon round.

The sandwich comes with coffee and almond jelly. You can have a refill of coffee, but only hot coffee is available. Chopsticks are provided with the sandwich, maybe because the ingredients are likely to fall out due to the thin slices of bread or because there are too many ingredients. The taste is simple and delicious. It's a great option if you want a light meal.
