I had been curious about "Chatres" and their aged raw wine, so I decided to buy it since I was nearby. They offer red and white varieties. The first time you buy, there is a bottle fee of 157 yen, but if you bring back the washed bottle next time, they will refill it for you. I purchased the "Aged Raw Wine Red" (754 yen, with an initial bottle fee of 157 yen). Although I had dinner prepared, they also sell pizzas. I bought the "Oven-Baked Pizza Teriyaki Mayo Chicken" (356 yen) as well. Since I was there, I also decided to get some cake. I bought the "Intense Strawberry Mont Blanc" (410 yen) and the "Gâteau Chocolat" (302 yen). The Aged Raw Wine Red is made with Cabernet Sauvignon, with a berry-like aroma and a slightly astringent, rich flavor. It was surprisingly high-quality and delicious, just as rumored. I will wash the bottle and try the white wine next time. The Oven-Baked Pizza Teriyaki Mayo Chicken is a frozen pizza that you can bake in the oven. For the price, it has a decent amount of chicken, and it also comes with "chopped seaweed" on the side. The fluffy pizza dough is tasty, although the cheese amount may be a bit lacking. Considering the price, it's acceptable. I had the cakes separately from the meal. The Intense Strawberry Mont Blanc has a strawberry cream on the outside and a filling of "sweetened condensed milk white chocolate mousse," "raspberry jelly," and "cereal white chocolate." The white chocolate mousse was slightly sweet due to the condensed milk, but the sweet and sour raspberry jelly was quite tasty. The Gâteau Chocolat had a chocolate sponge, chocolate cream, and cocoa powder on top, offering a balance of sweetness and bitterness. They also have a variety of bread, Japanese sweets, and ice candy, so their selection is quite wide. I might take a closer look next time.
