During the off-season in Amanohashidate, around 6 pm, most shops were already closed and I was at a loss until I found this one shop that was still open. I didn't know anything about it when I entered, but the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, and most importantly, the food was incredibly delicious. I wanted to eat more, but my appetite isn't what it used to be so I only had two dishes. The food was so good that I would come back to Amanohashidate just to eat here again. It was a delight to taste local ingredients. Highly recommended. I definitely want to visit again.

I visited the restaurant "310 amanohashidate" located about a 2-minute walk from JR Amanohashidate Station during my trip to Amanohashidate in late December. I enjoy dining out at local restaurants when traveling alone, instead of opting for dinner plans at my accommodation, to experience the local atmosphere. However, sometimes I encounter situations where no restaurants are open in popular tourist areas at night. Surprisingly, despite being a famous tourist spot, the street leading to the bustling area of Amanohashidate, the Chion-ji Temple street, was completely dark with no open restaurants, except for this restaurant near the station and a popular ramen shop nearby. The stylish interior of the restaurant, with exposed concrete walls, had about 20 table seats. I chose a 6-person table seat and started by ordering a draft beer and looking at the menu. The menu offered creative dishes combining Japanese and Italian cuisine with a natural approach. I ordered the "Red Snapper Sashimi" (935 yen tax included) and the "Steamed Seasonal Vegetables with Heshiko Bagna Cauda" (880 yen tax included). Both dishes were beautifully presented, and the attention to detail was evident. The "Red Snapper Sashimi" had a subtle sweetness and was a great start to the meal. The "Steamed Seasonal Vegetables with Heshiko Bagna Cauda" featured a variety of hot steamed vegetables dipped in heshiko bagna cauda, enhancing the flavors and aromas, making it a delicious dish to enjoy with drinks. I decided to go for a full bottle of dry white wine to accompany the meal, and the recommended natural wine "ALSACE" from France was a perfect choice with its refreshing acidity, rich flavor, and dry finish. I also ordered "Nuts and Smoked Saikyo" (550 yen tax included) as a perfect snack to enjoy with the wine. With the bottle empty, I settled the bill and left the restaurant satisfied with the great find during my trip. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The creativity and presentation of the food were stylish, although the cost performance was not very good.

The stylish interior, friendly and cool staff, and delicious food made the experience great. The eel with sansho pepper rice was the best.
