While traveling north on the old Route 24, I happened to feel hungry and casually stopped by a restaurant. Upon opening the door, the interior looked like a café. Intrigued by the word "crab," I entered and discovered that crab dishes were served on the second floor. I ordered the "Crab Rice" for 750 yen, which consisted of lightly flavored rice with three extremely thin crab legs, pre-made kinshi tamago (shredded omelet), soup with egg, seaweed, and green onions, as well as three side dishes: 1. simmered hijiki seaweed, 2. simmered konjac, and pickles. The meal also included simmered kombu seaweed and a pickled plum. A complimentary demitasse coffee was served as well. Feeling no excitement at all, I left the restaurant.
