I usually can't visit because they are closed on weekends and holidays, but I went on a rare holiday opening. I ordered the Magic Blend Coffee, Iced Cafe au Lait, and Chocolate Cake. The blend coffee had a deep yet refreshing and complex flavor, almost like a work of art. However, the hidden gem is the Cafe au Lait in my opinion. The flavor is exquisite, I've never had a better Cafe au Lait. And the cakes made by the owner's wife are also excellent. I wonder when I can go next.

Mahou Coffee, which used to operate in Naha, has made a comeback in Kyoto. I used to always stop by when I was in Naha, so I was shocked when they suddenly closed. However, I was thrilled to discover their reopening in Kyoto. When I visited, at first I didn't notice that the old sign was still there, so be careful not to miss it. The taste of the coffee remains the same as it was in Naha. They also play jazz on records, just like before, which I really enjoy. Personally, this coffee is my favorite, so I am extremely happy to have reunited with it. The desserts made by the owner's wife are still fantastic as well. It's a shame they only open on weekdays during the day, but I will find time to visit again.
