After finishing work in Toranomon, I walked with my colleagues to this restaurant. Despite it being early in the opening hours, the place was already full. It seems to be a very popular spot. We started with sashimi, which was amazing. Fresh oysters, prawns, tuna, flounder, bonito, octopus, all delicious. Especially the prawns, I even sucked the head and miso. The oysters were plump and juicy. The quality and quantity were great, and the cost performance was also very high. I don't remember much because I was drinking, but I also wanted something warm, so we ordered tempura with various chopped fish. It was crispy and had a good volume. This restaurant is known for its great cost performance. While enjoying with sake, I found red clam in the refrigerated case. It wasn't on the menu, but I asked the chef if he could prepare it for us, and he kindly did. And the price was very reasonable. The red clam had no fishy smell and the chewy part was full of flavor. The pickled water eggplant was also a great palate cleanser. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

The main store of Uogane is always bustling. The prices for dishes are not cheap, but the portions are generous so a few dishes are enough. On the other hand, it's hard to order a lot. The complimentary dish is a cream croquette which is already large. It's suitable for a big party, but reservations are a must. The sashimi is delicious, but some people might have a preference for thinly sliced types. There are various types of lemon sours for drinks, and the bitter one was delicious.

The strongest seafood izakaya in Shinbashi! Everything from the appetizers to the sashimi was delicious. The appetizer, cream croquette, was just right in terms of frying and seasoning. The assorted sashimi was fresh, and the seasoning of the turban shell was perfect. The simmered fish was also very tasty. The drink menu is extensive. It's a popular restaurant, so there is a two-hour time limit.

Four adults and two children used this restaurant. It was a daytime drinking session with fellow moms. The adults ordered the 4,500 yen course with an additional 1,500 yen for all-you-can-drink. The children ordered individual items. The portion size and variety of dishes were satisfying. We got so engrossed in conversation that the dishes started piling up on the table. It was a great place for a lively gathering with friends, reasonably priced and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Fish Kin was great. The appetizers were all delicious and reasonably priced, so we ended up staying for the whole seating time. The sake and lemon sour were tasty, and both the drinks and food went down smoothly. There were still more menu items that caught my eye that I didn't get to try, so I will definitely be going back.

I think it can be quite difficult to decide where to eat with a friend from Hokkaido, but this place was delicious so there was no problem at all. The cost performance is top-notch. The only downside is that it's always crowded and noisy, but that can make the izakaya experience more fun. The crab cream croquette served as an appetizer was so tasty. We enjoyed sashimi with good sake. The deep-fried white shrimp was also delicious. If you can make a reservation, it's definitely worth a visit.

Outdoor dining edition - Table tennis club alumni reunion @ Uokin Main Store / Shinbashi alumni reunion was held at "Uokin Main Store". Apart from my classmates, I met people I hadn't seen in almost 40 years, and got so caught up in conversation that I only took 4 photos. Shrimp chili. Seared horse mackerel. White fish sashimi. And the drink of choice was Jim Beam highball. Ah, it was so much fun.

In the evening, there were a lot of customers at the restaurant, but miraculously I was able to get in without a reservation!! I was so happy because I had always wanted to come here... tears of joy. And everything was incredibly delicious! ✨✨ Even the appetizers were great! The assorted sashimi platter included sushi rolls and I was completely satisfied! I ordered all the summer limited edition sake available and had a blissful time. The restaurant was spacious, even more than I had imagined!

Since it's a popular restaurant, I thought we wouldn't be able to get in without a reservation, but I decided to give it a try and called anyway. Surprisingly, we were able to get a table for 7 people on a Sunday at an early time. The female staff was quite unfriendly and inattentive, and the floor was a bit dirty, but overall, we were satisfied with the food and drinks. We had new potato fries, carpaccio, raw fish with grated radish, and various types of fish with Japanese sake. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures, but everything was delicious. The tai skin senbei was a great snack to go with the sake.

I made a reservation in advance and visited on Saturday night. The restaurant was fully booked due to its popularity. The taste was excellent and the cost performance was great. I was surprised to receive crab cream croquettes as a complimentary appetizer. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I go to Shinbashi.

As expected of a popular restaurant. Even though we arrived around 8 PM (with a reservation), the place was fully booked. The sashimi platter was advertised as having 6 pieces, but they actually served 10 pieces, and the sushi was delicious. What surprised us was the complimentary dish of a whole scallop cream croquette. It was incredibly tasty, and we had a great night with our colleagues.

It feels like the quality has declined since the past. The person behind the counter, who seemed to be a craftsman, was shouting loudly, which surprised the ladies next to me and was unpleasant to hear. If you need to scold the staff, please do it in the back. Also, I understand that it's busy, but it was disappointing to see the sashimi prepared in advance and uncovered right in front of us. Do they not realize there are customers right in front of them? It turned what should have been an enjoyable time into a disappointing one.

I stopped by without a reservation and was able to get a table! It's been over 10 years since I last visited the main store. I was surprised to receive a crab croquette as a complimentary dish. We enjoyed a satisfying meal with a generous sashimi platter for two people. If you want to eat delicious and reasonably priced sashimi in Shinbashi, then Uogane is the place to go!

I visited this restaurant for the first time after returning to the Kanto region after 4 months. I had heard of it before because it's famous. I don't usually drink, but I had white wine this time since I was with someone else. The appetizer was crab cream croquette, which was surprising. I let my companion have it, but looking back at the photos, I regret not trying it myself. The famous menu item, seaweed tofu, and the recommended dish, grilled yellowtail collar, were especially delicious! Thank you for the meal!

It had been a long time since we had a company gathering, and we decided to have it at a restaurant near the office. The menu was rich in fish dishes, and the selection of alcohol was also great. We enjoyed various sashimi dishes. I would like to go there again with my family next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was disappointed. The specialty sashimi platter was not fresh, the slices were dry, and the raw oysters were clearly not fresh. The corn tempura was not crispy and hot as it should be. The scallop dish was overcooked. The staff's attitude was also lacking. Personally, I don't think it's worth paying to eat there. I will definitely not be returning!

6/10 I visited after a long time (⁠◡⁠ ⁠ω⁠ ⁠◡⁠) I went without a reservation, but even though there were staff in the restaurant, no one came to assist us. The fish we ordered was not very fresh. There was no explanation about the sashimi, so we didn't know what kind of fish we were eating.

Everyone probably has at least one drinking buddy who is crazy about "Uokin" (a type of fish market). The popularity of Uokin seems to be increasing, making it difficult to understand what makes it so special. However, through listening to various opinions about different Uokin restaurants, I have come to realize a few things. The main attractions of Uokin are being able to enjoy a large amount of simple sashimi at a low price, as well as their complimentary cream croquettes and a 6-piece sashimi platter. When dining with a friend, instead of opting for individual dishes, simply order the 6-piece sashimi platter and enjoy it with some sake. This simple act alone brings happiness to everyone.

There are plenty of fish options at Fish Kin, but I had never been to the main store before, so I decided to visit this time. Needless to say, the fish is delicious. If you want to eat fish but are having trouble choosing a restaurant, I think this is a good choice. They also serve cream croquettes as a complimentary appetizer, which is really nice and tasty. If you go in the winter, you can probably order shirako (milt) as well, so it might be good to choose the season to visit. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, with seating on the 1st floor, basement, 2nd floor, and 3rd floor (although I did not see all the seating on every floor, so please forgive any mistakes).

The sashimi platter had a great volume. They have a wide selection of sake, so we were able to enjoy our seafood meal with plenty of drinks. Since it was Golden Week in Shinbashi, there were fewer people than usual, and we were able to get a table without waiting even without a reservation.
