I had been passing by this shop for a while and it caught my attention. The shop is called "Yakitori Aogu" and it faces Kawaramachi Street. The interior is visible through glass, so I couldn't resist and went in with my colleagues after work. Despite the easing of the state of emergency, the flow of people is gradually increasing, but since the shop had just opened, we were able to enter without a reservation. We were seated at the counter seats visible from the street. I wish there were more young people here (laughs). They mentioned that they haven't been able to handle the second-floor seats yet... and they seemed a bit inexperienced, but for now, we ordered some drinks, momo, seseri, sunazuri, tsukune, and more. We enjoyed the hot yakitori carefully grilled with Kishu Binchotan charcoal on the plates on the counter. It was so delicious! Salt is the best for yakitori! And the grilling was perfect! Sorry, I got carried away and forgot to take pictures (laughs). The images are of the side menu: - Wasabi-marinated chicken from Asa-hiki Kyoto Akadori - Sweet potato tempura with cream cheese and balsamic - Chicken soboro potato salad with poached egg Everything was delicious and I loved the original seasoning. Especially the wasabi marinated dish. Fresh wasabi is the best. I can't drink much alcohol because I'm not good at it. The person next to me was recommended by the owner to drink sake... it was "Shika" from Shika Sake Brewery!!! A super rare sake that Haruma Miura praised on TV's Kaizoku. They really pay attention to not only chicken and charcoal but also sake! Next time, I'll have it when I visit with someone who doesn't mind if I get drunk (laughs). After enjoying the yakitori, we decided to have soba. I ordered the "Morisoba" for 700 yen. I found out after ordering that the guy in the back of the counter... it's soba made by him, with outside Ni-hachi soba. I was surprised at how authentic it was for a yakitori shop! The soba came with fresh wasabi and salt, and I truly enjoyed the delicious soba. It's so good that I wish they would operate as a soba shop for lunch as well. It was a blissful moment. When I asked if I could post on SNS, they said yes, so I'm posting it now. I'll visit again! Thank you for the delicious yakitori and soba. It was a feast.

I suddenly felt like eating yakitori late at night and made a reservation at this restaurant, which is less than a 10-minute walk from my house. In conclusion, I hit the jackpot! The potato salad, chicken liver with wasabi, chicken sashimi, ham cutlet, soba, and yakitori were all of high quality, and the menu had some unique twists that kept me from getting bored. The potato salad had minced chicken and poached egg on top, and you mix it all together before eating. The ham cutlet was crispy and the meat had a nice tender texture. They don't just serve ordinary dishes, you can feel their attention to detail. Personally, I also enjoyed the soba noodles. They probably grind the wasabi in the restaurant, which was a nice touch. Having drinks for two people and spending 8,000 yen was also great value for money. I left feeling extremely satisfied. The fact that they have a last order at midnight is also a plus. I will definitely visit again.

This area has quite a few trendy and cozy new restaurants popping up. I wanted to try various places, but for now, we decided to go to this one because they have a great selection of hot sake. It's better to make a reservation as it was quite full. Since it's a yakitori restaurant, we ordered a few different skewers, fried new potatoes with cheese, oil-drenched chicken, and the highly recommended hand-cut soba noodles. As a fan of grilled liver, I also couldn't resist ordering the grilled liver skewers. The liver had a moist and easy-to-eat texture with a delicious flavor, perfect for enjoying with sake. The deep-fried overnight dried chicken wings were exceptionally tasty, with the flavor being concentrated from the overnight drying process. Lately, I've been noticing more places grilling overnight dried chicken, and luckily I came across a few good ones. If you happen to find one, definitely give it a try! The umami flavor is concentrated, yet the meat remains juicy. This is a place where you can quickly enjoy some food and drinks and head home, but since there doesn't seem to be any available seats for a quick visit, it's best to make a reservation. If I have the chance, I would love to visit this place again.

That day, we made a reservation, but the place was fully booked, so we were seated in a private room. The menu was simple, with one drink and one dish per person. The food was delicious, and we ordered too much. The unusual ending was surprisingly tasty soba noodles, and we ordered two types. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. Although the access is not great, the inside of the restaurant was crowded with many customers. The yakitori was delicious, with a crispy outside and a fluffy inside. The chicken wings and thighs were especially tasty. The side dishes were also delicious, so I will definitely come back to this place.

Today, I had yakitori in the Marutamachi area, a little away from the town center. We started with a toast with sake and draft beer. I was looking forward to the soba noodles as the final dish, so I ordered lightly. Among the many dishes, the salted chicken liver was too delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the grilling were perfect, so I ended up ordering seconds unexpectedly. If you plan to go, it's better to make a reservation in advance, even though it's not in the town center.

I love yakitori, so I was really interested in this place. I decided to try it out since the soba also seemed delicious. I ordered chicken tataki, chicken nanban, potato salad, and various yakitori items like thigh, negima, sasami, heart, and tsukune. Everything was tasty, but the prices might be a bit high. It would be great if it was a little cheaper. Lastly, I tried the zaru soba and tsukimi soba (pictured). They were good, but not outstanding. The drink menu was limited, and the prices seemed high, especially 380 yen for soft drinks. They didn't have non-alcoholic beer either, which was disappointing.

To Yaki Tori Ao, a yakitori restaurant located in Kawaramachi Ebisugawa. They grill Kyoto Akadori chicken with Kishu Binchotan charcoal, so expectations are high. You can order individual dishes, such as: - Momo Tataki: Rare chicken thigh meat with ponzu sauce, onions, and shellfish, a delicious combination. - Niku Tori and Pakuchi: Tender boiled chicken with cilantro and a jelly-like sauce, a unique and tasty dish. - Chicken Nanban with Tartar Sauce: Chicken with pickled tartar sauce, a delightful twist. For yakitori, they offer items like: - Yagen Nankotsu - Negima - Tsukune - Hatsu - Seseri - Sasami - Kawa - Tebasaki - Shiitake All the yakitori dishes are thick and flavorful, with a special mention to the Negima. The Tebasaki and Shiitake were also highlights. They serve soba noodles as a finishing touch, using buckwheat flour from Kagoshima for a delicious experience. Just be aware that rice dishes are not available for the finale.

I visited the restaurant "Yakitori Gyō" today. It is a clean and beautiful restaurant facing the street. I was seated at a table in the back and ordered some dishes (*^-^*) The food and drinks were neither good nor bad, just average. However, the service from the staff was pleasant and I had a enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal.

The newly opened restaurant "仰" offers a unique experience of enjoying yakitori and hand-made soba noodles. The yakitori dishes such as momo tataki, yakke, and wasabi salad were delicious overall, although some felt slightly over-seasoned with salt. The variety of yakitori options was impressive, including momo, seseri, negima, sasami, and more. The soba noodles were average, but the option to have hand-made soba noodles as a finish was a nice touch. The overall operation of the restaurant was smooth and efficient.

The restaurant is open on Sundays and caters to various types of customers with counter seating, tables, and private rooms. It was unfortunate that there were many sold out items due to it being a busy Sunday when suppliers are closed. However, all the yakitori we had was delicious and satisfying. I recommend finishing off with some soba noodles!

It's a neighborhood restaurant. My 95-year-old grandma loves yakitori. My husband, grandma, and I went there for the first time. Grandma was in a wheelchair, but the kind staff welcomed us warmly. It's a popular restaurant, but we were able to make a reservation for October and are looking forward to going back. On Sundays, we visit various neighborhood shops while pushing grandma in her wheelchair, and everyone is so kind and helpful. The yakitori and tataki were delicious. ❤️

It's delicious. It's open late, so it's convenient. The soba noodles looked delicious with their carefully handcrafted noodles. (Sorry, I didn't eat them.) I will definitely come back when I crave delicious yakitori late at night.
