I visited on a Sunday night and the place was almost full, bustling with energy. There were many couples who seemed like tourists. The table area had a lot of groups of friends. Besides sushi, they also had a great selection of appetizers, making it hard to decide what to order. But no matter what we ordered, everything was delicious! The quality of the sushi was high, and I think I found a great restaurant.

The sushi at this restaurant is filled with attention to detail, such as using a blend of red vinegar and rice vinegar for the rice, and aging the tuna for a week. However, despite having high expectations, it didn't blow me away with how delicious it was. It gives off a vibe of being a sushi place that is Instagram-worthy.

I entered the restaurant right at 5 o'clock when it opened. The interior was clean and seemed to appeal to women. There were many couples as well. I ordered konjac and corn fry, sesame seafood salad, assorted 5-piece sushi, scallop sushi, flounder sushi, green onion eel, buttered eel, and black Kirishima shochu with hot water and lemon sour x2. The total bill for 2 people was just under 6,000 yen. I was disappointed that they were sold out of the eel fin. I'm interested in trying the Fish and 7 restaurant in the same building, so I'd like to come back for another visit.

The 5,000 yen all-you-can-eat sushi course was great. The appetizers before the sushi were delicious. The food came out quickly, which was better than waiting too long. The sushi itself was tasty. The portions were generous, so I couldn't eat too much sushi and had to stop within an hour, which surprised the waitress. It was nice that you could stop temporarily or individually. The course was satisfying, but I would like to try ordering individual items next time.

Sushi bar located about 6 minutes from Kyoto Station. I had been wanting to go there for a while and finally visited. It was midday, so I was able to sit at the counter without a reservation even though it was a holiday. Looking at the menu, I was drawn to the "omakase sushi 5-piece set." It seems that you get a different selection of sushi for each of the 4 servings. I ordered this set, along with a tempura assortment and 2 glasses of draft beer. The sushi is made with red vinegar, and there seems to be some emphasis on quality. The fish may be aged, as it is not super fresh. The balance of the sushi is standard. While the selection changes each time, they don't serve high-end items like eel, sea urchin, or fatty tuna. It doesn't feel like a particularly good deal. The tempura was on the crispy side, which was a bit disappointing for me as I prefer a lighter texture. There seems to be an all-you-can-eat sushi and drink course for 7000 yen, which I might consider trying if they include some higher quality items.

Located on the second floor of a building about a 10-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station, this restaurant does not have a parking lot. Despite the inconvenient starting time of 8:00 pm on a Friday night, there were several groups of customers waiting when I took the elevator up. It seems to be quite a popular place. Today, I visited with my former colleagues from work. The restaurant offers all-you-can-eat sushi, so we made a reservation and arrived. The interior was surprisingly spacious and bright, with counter seats in the front and table seats in the back. The friendly staff welcomed us. We had reserved the "Sushi Extravaganza Course" for 90 minutes, which includes unlimited sushi until you say stop. The cost was 5,000 yen including tax (drinks not included). We also ordered the "Isomani" sake from Shizuoka at 439 yen including tax. The course started with appetizers, fish head stew, chawanmushi, fried chicken, assorted sashimi, all-you-can-eat sushi, miso soup, and dessert. The highlight was the Shizuoka sake "Isomani" that was served at the G7 Summit. It had a good dry taste. The overall freshness of the fish was good, but there was nothing particularly outstanding. The menu was well-organized for the all-you-can-eat option, with a variety of dishes. Since you cannot choose the sushi toppings, you end up with similar ones. It is a good deal for those who can eat a lot. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience with my friends, so I would give it a thumbs up.

The all-you-can-eat sushi course for 5000 yen was only available by phone reservation at 5 pm and 8 pm. When I arrived at 5 pm, the restaurant was empty, but by the time I left, there was a waiting line. The seating time is 2 hours with a last order at 90 minutes. There is a full payment policy for same-day cancellations. The meal started with appetizers, sashimi, and fried chicken before the all-you-can-eat sushi began. You can't request specific items, so they keep bringing plates to your table. The timing was good, but the sushi quality was average, similar to conveyor belt sushi. If you can't eat much, it's better to go to a regular izakaya. The staff quickly clears plates and glasses, but it felt rushed. It's a popular place, but the cost performance was not great. I think I'd rather order individual items next time.

It's amazing that sushi is all-you-can-eat when you book a course! We enjoyed lots of delicious sushi. Several other dishes were also served, and they were very satisfying too. The only downside was that the first drink took a bit long to arrive. It seemed busy, but customers always want their first drink quickly. However, all my friends who came with me were very satisfied with the food.

The 5000 yen all-you-can-eat sushi course requires phone reservation only. In addition to sushi, there is sashimi, blowfish tempura, chawanmushi, simmered fish, fish soup, and vanilla ice cream. Nigiri, hand rolls, and rolls are served in rotation. The sashimi was tastier than the sushi. I got excited when the eel came out, and it was delicious!

I visited Sushitofuji with my close colleagues. We were lured by the 90-minute all-you-can-eat and drink deal for 7000 yen (tax included) and made a reservation in advance. Despite a last-minute cancellation, they kindly accommodated us without any cancellation fees. We were served appetizers first, which included marinated horse mackerel, potato salad, blowfish fry, sashimi, chawanmushi, and simmered yellowtail, quite a generous portion. The sushi was served on large and small plates, and hand rolls were individually served in stainless steel dishes. The sushi selection was not customizable, but they kept serving until we said stop. The quality of the fish was good, although the rice was slightly tangy. Overall, it's recommended for those who want to eat a lot without worrying about the price. The staff were friendly and provided great service, making our dining experience enjoyable.

A sushi izakaya near Kyoto Station! Maybe it's related to the Ta no Tai chain? The staff's customer service is great! They have a variety of creative dishes, including sushi. The omakase nigiri changes with each order. They also offer all-you-can-eat sushi. I'll probably come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I sat at the counter, ordered a few dishes, and decided to add some fried oysters. However, they were sold out and I was recommended grilled oysters instead. I agreed to that and placed my order. I could see the grilling station right in front of me. The oysters in shells were taken out from the fridge and placed on the grilling station on the top right. However, even after about 10 minutes, they didn't come out. Was it a mistake in the order? Did they forget to grill them? I asked the staff. It seemed like they confirmed with the griller, as they immediately took out the oysters from the grilling station, plated them, and brought them to me. As expected, the oysters had shrunk and turned black by about 1 cm. I couldn't help but laugh when they said, "Sorry for the wait, here you go." I politely declined, saying that I didn't need them anymore. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos.

I visited a restaurant that caught my interest because I love the izakaya "Tai no Tai". Overall, the food was delicious. Especially noteworthy were the dashimaki with aosa seaweed and shirasu, simmered red snapper head, and the Awaji onion and shirasu onion dish with flying fish. Each dish was impressively delicious, leaving a lasting impact. I discovered many new ways of preparing and enjoying food during this visit. As for the aged sushi, it's a matter of personal preference, and I found it to be just okay as I prefer sushi with a chewy texture. The luxurious seafood overflowing sushi was a combination of kappa rolls topped with tuna, salmon roe, and egg, and although it was smaller than expected, it was quite tasty. One thing to note is that this restaurant is quite popular, so I recommend making a reservation at least two days in advance if you plan on visiting. Late reservations may result in being seated at the counter corner near the entrance, so for a better dining experience, it's best to book ahead.

This is a shop that has been trending on SNS and I've always wanted to visit. They offer a 5000 yen course where sushi is randomly served until you say stop. First, we were provided with several izakaya dishes which were delicious. Next came the main sushi course. However, the rice in the sushi was hard and difficult to eat a lot of. The fish toppings were large and good, but it was disappointing.

Since it's a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, it's not very noticeable, but it's often posted on SNS. The service girls are bright and cheerful! If you order the "omakase 5-piece set," you can eat a variety of sushi. Regardless of the taste, it's cheap. Today, I did a three-restaurant crawl, but I had 10 pieces of sushi.

Second floor of the building. A long counter with a painting of Mount Fuji on the wall, and bonsai trees adding to the cool atmosphere. Foreigners seemed to enjoy it too. Ordered using a mobile phone. ★Hand-rolled eel Thick and meaty eel. Generous portion. ★Homemade egg I love eggs. ★Kawahagi liver Luxurious with liver. ★Devil's tempura roll A bit too much mayonnaise. ★I want to embrace you with tuna roll They show you the state before rolling, which gets you excited. They shout "Here it comes!" and then bring the rolled sushi, which is quite a large portion for two people. A fun performance. ★Corn tempura Crispy fried corn. The portion was double what I imagined (laughs). ★Mackerel Delicious. Not a common item in affordable restaurants. ★Aged bluefin tuna chu-toro ★Aged bluefin tuna toro roll They properly age the tuna, showing their dedication. ★Kajitani Farm leaf roll A leaf roll using herbs, which is rare in this type of establishment. It was interesting to see them doing something unique. The service is very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is elegant.

I went on a weekday night without a reservation and it was very crowded. However, I was seated right away without having to wait, which was great. The food and service were both excellent and it was understandable why it was so busy! The omakase sushi, shirako, oysters, and sea urchin were all very delicious! ✨ I would love to visit again.

I ordered the Sushi Tofuji head chef's 5-piece assorted sushi set for 879 yen three times. The tuna was fatty at first, then lean for the second and third orders, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors. I also separately ordered 2 pieces of steamed conger eel for 658 yen, which was soft and delicious. The tempura assortment included two large shrimp, ginger tempura, eggplant, and onion for 659 yen, and was surprisingly filling. I tried a glass of Dassai 45 sake for 439 yen and found it easy to drink, so I added another for 878 yen. I ordered through the smartphone menu, which was convenient with the free Wi-Fi available. When I made a mistake in my order, the staff kindly corrected it for me. I wanted to order shirako (milt) as well, but the restaurant was full even though it was only 8:30 PM, and some items were sold out. I'll make sure to go earlier next time. Thank you for the meal.

I will not go there again. The price is high but the taste is average. The portion size is not that great either. I paid 7,800 yen for an eel roll, but it was mostly egg. If it had a lot of eel, I would understand, but for this price, it's too expensive for basically just egg. Also, the service is extremely slow. You have to wait 30-40 minutes. I originally went for the all-you-can-eat course for 5,000 yen, but I couldn't make a reservation for that over the phone. That was also confusing. I was much more satisfied with the 100 yen conveyor belt sushi.

I was intrigued by the 2-hour course where sushi keeps coming until you say stop. The sushi was plentiful and of decent quality, and the drinks were good too. The first dish that came out was also delicious and satisfying. However, I thought the all-you-can-drink option for 2000 yen might be a bit expensive, but since beer was served at around 390 yen (excluding tax), I ended up drinking a lot. It's a place I would like to visit again! 🍣🍺
