I visited a restaurant called "Sakura" in Ide-cho, Kyoto Prefecture. As soon as I entered, the lady at the shop greeted me saying, "Today's set meal is sweet and sour chicken (*^_^*)." I was intrigued by the sweet and sour chicken, but I also wanted to see the menu. It turns out that this shop only offers daily specials along with pilaf or udon. The daily special was priced at 500 yen. They asked if I wanted extra rice, but I declined as I have a small appetite. While waiting, I noticed that the shop was quite crowded, indicating its popularity among locals. Finally, the daily special arrived - chicken cutlet with sweet and sour sauce. The portion was generous, with a layer of cutlet hidden beneath the top one. The taste was delicious, with the crispy texture of the cutlet complementing the refreshing sweet and sour sauce. The meal also came with pickles, which tasted authentic and went well with soy sauce. I was satisfied with the meal, and I liked the casual atmosphere of the shop. I would definitely like to visit again!
