I visited the Nenbutsu-ji Temple in Kiyomizu and decided to dine at this restaurant nearby. It was around 11:00 am and there were only a few customers at that time. I was tempted by the Curry Fair and Spaghetti Fair, but I ended up choosing pasta. I tried the Japanese-style peperoncino with four types of mushrooms. It arrived about 5 minutes after ordering, so it seemed like the noodles were not freshly boiled. The garlic flavor was strong and the noodles were thin like angel hair pasta. The noodles were a bit soft, I prefer them al dente. The mushrooms seemed like they were pre-cooked. The taste was good overall, but I guess they can't cook everything from scratch in a tourist area.

During my trip to Kyoto, I visited Tenryu-ji Temple, Nison-in Temple, and on my way to Atago Nenbutsu-ji Temple, I stopped by because I was starving. The photo is a bit blurry, but I had green curry. The one in the back... was it beef? Chicken? I forgot, sorry. The green curry didn't have a strong Thai curry flavor, but it had bamboo shoots and a hint of green curry, so I think anyone would enjoy it. And the curry in the back, I forgot what it was, was a normal curry but not really normal. It had a strong spice flavor and was cooked slowly, giving it a deep taste. The female owner was very kind to us, who were clearly tourists. We were exhausted from walking in the rain, but our hearts and stomachs were completely satisfied. Thank you very much! This is a shop near the Jiwang Temple. Inside the shop, there are photos of cherry blossoms in full bloom near the temple. They also have an English menu, so they cater to foreign tourists. We decided to have a late lunch here. There were long lines at all the shops with tourists, but we were lucky to find seats. However, the beef curry for 1,000 yen seemed a bit expensive (probably because it's Kyoto). The curry was delicious, and the service from the staff was good.
