I chose the lunch set with the option to select from various dishes for 988 yen. I picked a sashimi platter and a mini soba. The restaurant was empty, and there were bright seats by the window available, but I was seated in a dark corner away from the window, which immediately put me off. I may be overthinking, but it felt like they treated single customers differently from groups of two or more. The tempura was decent, but other dishes felt like they were lacking a finishing touch. I only felt about 60% full. There was no satisfaction after the meal. Thank you for the meal.

I went to this restaurant with my family because they offer a variety of foods. I really wanted to eat ice cream, so I chose the premium course with shabu-shabu. In addition to all-you-can-eat, there were plenty of other dishes to enjoy without getting bored. The tempura is recommended because it is freshly fried. It cost a little over 3000 yen, and on top of that, alcohol was available for 1200 yen all-you-can-drink.

Eating out with children at Satoshabu course. For some reason, only one pot could be used... Even when I tried to shift it a little, it didn't change. I had to ask the staff for help... I had to shift the pot so much that it looked like it might tip over... I mentioned that it was dangerous because of the children, and then the handle of the pot was right in front of me... I started feeling sick for the first time in a while. They also prepared too much meat, so when I put it in the broth, the broth turned red...

I went with my coworkers. It was all-you-can-eat. I love tempura and kept eating it because it was delicious. It was so tasty.

I used this restaurant when I visited my hometown during Bon festival. I had a set menu of soba and tempura. I don't remember the price, as my mother treated me, so I can't give an accurate evaluation haha. But it was a good portion size and I enjoyed it. We arrived early, but the seats quickly filled up as time passed. It was during the Bon holiday season after all! Thank you for the meal.

I went into a family restaurant, which was a rare choice for me. They had a liquid crystal screen for ordering, which was a bit unfamiliar for an older guy like me, but I've been using computers for 20 years so I managed. I ordered curry udon and was surprised to see that it was actually made in the kitchen, not pre-made. I make curry udon at home about once a month, so I could tell it was made from scratch. It didn't use curry roux, but curry powder instead. It came with a paper apron. It had beef, onions, and fried toppings. Here's how I make my curry udon: 1. Prepare fresh noodles in a tray or instant noodles and soup. 2. Dissolve a tablespoon of curry powder in the soup (or water for instant noodles). 3. Heat up the soup and add the ingredients and noodles at the right timing. 4. Dissolve a tablespoon of potato starch in the same amount of water, adjust the thickness, and add it to step 3. Enjoy!

A family of three decided to go to a Japanese restaurant called "Satoshabu" even though they had no appetite, they chose the "Satoshabu Premium Course" where you can eat all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu and one dish. It had been a while since they last visited, and they were surprised to see the new ordering system where you input your order on a tablet without calling a waiter. They were a bit worried about the older age group of the customers, but it seemed to work fine. They selected two types of broth for their hot pot, bonito broth and spicy miso broth. The meat (beef and pork) and vegetables in the basic set were cooked and tasted a bit bland. They found out that you had to order ponzu sauce separately, which was a bit confusing. The one dish items were all delicious, but they wished they could order just the crab without the rice in the crab rice dish, as the rice filled them up unnecessarily. When the ingredients ran out, they had a delicious porridge with rice and egg to finish. Lastly, they each ordered a dessert, almond jelly, with a lot of strawberry sauce that overpowered the taste of the jelly. Despite some confusion with the ordering system, they enjoyed the meal and would like to visit again when they have more appetite.

In my family, when it comes to all-you-can-eat, we usually go for "yakiniku" (Japanese BBQ). But there are days when we feel like having something different. However, when the kids are in the mood for all-you-can-eat and we're in a pinch, "Washoku Sato" and their "Sato Shabu" come to the rescue. This time, we went with another family, and the restaurant was packed on the weekend. After a 30-minute wait, we finally got seated. We ordered the "Sato Shabu," where you can choose from two types of broth - this was a tough decision based on what we wanted to eat that day. We chose the basic "kombu broth" and the unique "chicken white broth." The first set of meat and vegetables was quickly devoured by the whole family, and then the real all-you-can-eat feast began. The cost performance was excellent considering the quantity and quality. If only there was an all-you-can-drink option, it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, that was separate. When enjoying "Sato Shabu," we tend to go easy on the alcohol. Well, we made up for it by indulging in plenty of meat and vegetables, leaving us completely satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.

On Saturday around 5:30 pm, I went to this restaurant with my nieces to try the Satoshabu Premium Course. The premium course (2,499 yen) includes a variety of dishes, which is nice. I have only tried this course at this restaurant. The main advantage is that it is convenient and close by. When we entered the restaurant on the second floor, it was not full but quite busy. We had to wait a bit for our table, and when we requested two pots for the hotpot, the older waitress seemed annoyed. She did not seem happy about it, which was a bit off-putting. We waited for about 30 minutes, and the older waitress did not come back to us. Eventually, a young female server apologized and helped us with the preparation. It seemed like the older waitress was ignoring us. The food was not great, the rice was not tasty, and the pork for the shabu-shabu had a strange smell. By the time we left around 8 pm, there were many angry customers and the atmosphere was not pleasant. Despite liking the Satoshabu Premium Course, I was disappointed by this restaurant.

This time, I visited after a long time. I used it for lunch. Because of the last time, this time I chose a safe option, curry udon. It was a delicious curry udon with plenty of bonito flakes. So, it is worth using, and I increased the number of stars slightly. It was painful to see that the seaweed was from China in the ingredients. Fast food and family restaurants have no problem in terms of market principles. Thorough manualization, bulk purchasing of ingredients, cost reduction, efficiency, and simplification of cooking. With such efforts, they can provide a meal of a certain quality at such a low price. That makes sense. But when we eat out, we still seek a certain level of quality and peace of mind. It is only natural. I have visited various family restaurants before, but I feel that this restaurant is not well balanced. There is a sense of complacency that if it's cheap, it will be forgiven to this extent. With this attitude, it's hard to move on to the next place. It's a problem.

This restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk south from Kintetsu Hisatsugawa Station towards the old Route 24, and you can see Washoku Sato on the east side. I went there with a friend to have some Japanese food after a long time. They seem to offer all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu now, but we weren't very hungry so we ordered a tuna tataki bowl set for 890 yen. The taste was just okay, not bad but not great either. However, I felt like the price was a bit high. I'm not sure if I would visit again, but overall, it met expectations and didn't disappoint in terms of taste.
