I have taken out this dish from this restaurant at an event before, it was very delicious, and I have been wanting to go there but couldn't make it. Finally, I made up my mind and went on my way to Osaka. I had lunch at the counter seats. There are three types of lunch sets, I ordered the seafood paella lunch. For dessert, there was creme brulee. This is a must-try! The appetizers were quite generous, and each dish was meticulously prepared and very delicious. I really want to have some wine! The paella had the perfect rice texture and a good amount of seafood. It reminded me of the time when my husband used to make it at home, piling up the seafood so high that you couldn't see the rice. It was his specialty dish, but with so many expensive ingredients, it couldn't taste bad. I thought about that while enjoying the paella, and I will definitely come back to eat it again. I also had iced coffee for my drink and added creme brulee for dessert. The creme brulee was made right in front of me, with a hot iron pressed onto it, creating a sizzling white smoke - a perfect photo opportunity! I posted a video of it on social media. The staff at the restaurant were kind and welcoming, and there are parking spaces for two cars in front of the restaurant. My favorite coffee shop, Saji, is also within walking distance, so I might go there for coffee and dessert after eating. There are many great restaurants in Kameoka, so I am looking forward to exploring more. On a side note, after eating, I will quickly freshen up and head to Osaka for a concert date with Jim. I forgot to bring the husk tomatoes from my garden as a souvenir, but my friends are all enjoying the edible husk tomatoes that I pushed on them. It's a sign of our friendship!

I checked out a restaurant I had been wanting to visit and finally had the chance to go due to some errands nearby. I arrived at the restaurant a little after 1 pm and found the interior to have a very calm atmosphere. I sat at the counter, which was empty, and looked at the menu. There were three lunch options, and I chose the most reasonable one, the "Today's Lunch" (1,815 yen). The first course brought to me was the appetizer, which consisted of cream croquette with prosciutto, Spanish omelette, and Kyoto's special pork rillettes. It also came with soup and bread. The appetizers were all delicious and well-balanced. The chilled butternut squash potage had a great taste of squash and a creamy texture. The main dish was grilled silver salmon from Miyagi Prefecture. It was topped with prosciutto and butter sauce. The salmon had a crispy and fragrant skin, was well-roasted, had good fat content, firm flesh, and a bit of tenderness. The buttery and subtly salty sauce complemented the salmon well, making it very delicious. I finished the meal with black coffee and it was a satisfying lunch experience, despite the slightly luxurious price. If I have the chance to visit the area again, I would definitely like to eat there.

Staying at home got boring, so I decided to go out for some takeout in Kameoka. Kameoka is a satellite city of Kyoto. The Kameoka to Arashiyama river rafting is famous. Recently, there are some wonderful and delicious restaurants run by young people. It's so great! Even though it's close, it still takes about an hour by car from my house, which is the same as going to Kyoto city. Let's go shopping. I'm happy to see parking spaces in front of the store. I decided to get this wine-friendly appetizer set for 1000 yen. It includes spinach Spanish omelette, Kyoto pork boiled ham, firefly squid and rice salad, carrot rapé with sherry vinegar, olive salt cod cream croquette (5 pieces for 500 yen), and Basque cheesecake for 400 yen. Dinner and dessert for 1900 yen! Everything is so delicious! The wine goes perfectly with them. I must come back here for dinner. I'll definitely bring my friend who doesn't drink alcohol and drives. However, my friend who doesn't drink alcohol eats fast, which can be a bit of a challenge.
