It had been a while since I had work in Fukuchiyama City, so I decided to have dinner in the city before heading home. I went to Tomoni with my 24-year-old colleague. The restaurant had a spacious parking lot and the interior was also spacious and nice! The hamburgers, meat dishes, and limited-time pasta were all delicious.

The hamburger is juicy and thick, I personally prefer it over Gusto or Bikkudon. But my favorite is the black curry lunch buffet. It has meat with tendon in it, and it's so good that I always want to go for seconds even when I'm full.

I stopped by for lunch. The restaurant is easy to find along the national highway with plenty of parking in front and on the side. The daily special today was the number 3. The lunch menu seems to be the same at all Tomao restaurants. I had the daily special hamburger lunch which came with unlimited rice, curry, and soup. While waiting for the hamburger, I enjoyed the soup, rice, and curry. The hamburger was juicy and delicious with a savory Japanese-style sauce. It was so good that I could eat a whole bowl of rice with just the hamburger. The pork cutlet was thin and crispy, perfect for the curry. The thick and filling squid fry was also delicious. The black curry at Tomao is really tasty, so I had to get a refill. The cost performance is great. The female staff provided excellent service, making the whole lunch experience enjoyable and delicious.

At lunchtime, all the restaurants were crowded and I finally found a place where I could get in. The reviews mentioned that the staff's customer service was bad, but I found them to be cheerful and friendly. Maybe they have improved in recent years? The menu was a bit pricey, with even the cheapest option costing over ¥1000 for a main dish with rice or bread and a drink. After much deliberation, I ordered the "Bolga Rice" which is omurice topped with tonkatsu for ¥1176. The dish looked very filling with demi-glace and tomato sauce. While waiting, I noticed that not only the staff but also the customers were bustling around, creating a lot of traffic with the drink bar, salad bar, and rice and curry bar. The Bolga Rice arrived and I was a bit disappointed to find that it was less voluminous than in the picture. The tonkatsu was thin and I finished it quickly. I should have ordered a set menu with rice and curry to go with it.

In the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture, this family restaurant is quite popular. Their main dish is hamburger steak, and they have spacious seats where you can relax comfortably. As expected from a hamburger steak restaurant, they offer a wide variety of hamburger options. They also have a good selection of soft drinks and desserts. It's a great place to visit for a date or with family. Today, I ordered a coffee and it was delicious, especially with the cream they brought. You can use this restaurant for casual dining or special occasions.

I went on a regular night and the restaurant was quite busy. It had just been renovated so the place looked nice. I ordered a set meal that came with hamburgers, curry, salad, soup, and drinks all you can eat. The food was not bad, but it wasn't particularly delicious either. There were two types of curry and a decent variety of salads, so you can eat until you're full. It's a good place for those who want to relax and chat with friends at the drink bar.

When I have errands in this area, I always stop by here! The parking lot is very spacious and satisfying! The food is also delicious enough for the price. I love the cheese hamburger, so I almost always order it! It's a relaxed place where you can eat and enjoy your meal slowly. Occasionally, the steak is also good for the price. I would like to go eat here again!

This is my favorite family restaurant in the area. I love that they offer free refills on rice and complimentary curry. For small children who don't need to order a kids' meal, this is perfect (laughs). I also appreciate that they have a good selection of children's books. Unlike other family restaurants where the books are worn out, they seem to rotate them regularly, so the books are clean and have good content. It's also nice that they have a few Japanese dishes on the menu. When kids want a hamburger but I want something else, it's really helpful. I've read other reviews mentioning that the staff isn't very friendly (laughs), but the male staff members were nice. The female staff seemed a bit indifferent though.

I often go to this restaurant with friends, but I didn't have a very favorable impression of the staff's service. I ordered the "fluffy and melty omurice," but for the same price, you could get twice the amount at other places! The content and price don't really match for a restaurant. They have a drink bar and a cozy atmosphere for hanging out, but the staff's service is a bit lacking. So, I don't feel like staying for too long. The taste is decent, not amazingly delicious but not terrible either. It's okay for chatting and hanging out with friends, but not outstanding.

Tomato and Onion located along Route 9 in the northern part of Fukuchiyama City in Kyoto. This time, I tried the Mix Grill (hamburger, chicken, sirloin steak, carrots, potatoes, broccoli, onions) for 1134 yen. All-you-can-eat rice was 210 yen. The hamburger was a bit dry and not very tasty, and the sirloin steak was too tough to chew. Although I was happy with the all-you-can-eat rice, the customer service was extremely poor. The staff showed no friendliness at all. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
