Couple points: The menu is extensive and there are side-by-side seats for two people, making it a great option for a date. You can order two dishes and share. Families with children can also easily dine here. Taste: The hamburger was juicy and delicious. The scallop fry was a big hit for me! The portion size is sufficient for men, slightly more for women. Other points of interest: Napkins available, clean restroom with handwashing area and diaper changing station. Accepts both cashless payment and cards.

Second time at Takumi-san's. A hamburger shop near the station that is easy to get to! It had been a while since I last visited, but the hamburger was really fluffy and juicy. This time, I had the grated hamburger (BIG) 200g with scallop and shrimp toppings, along with a Camembert cheese fry set (soup, salad, bread). The hamburger was delicious, and the toppings and sides were also very tasty. The shrimp was not the firm type but rather packed with meat (which I really like), and the scallop was also very dense. I will definitely get toppings again next time. Surprisingly, even though 300g of hamburger at Bikkuri Donkey is not enough, 200g here is somehow filling. I will be back again soon! ☺️

This is my first visit to this place for lunch on a regular day. I arrived around 2:30 pm and the restaurant was not crowded at this time. Unfortunately, the daily lunch special was sold out, so I ordered the regular size "Takumi Hamburg" which arrived in about 10 minutes. The hamburger was not very big, but when I inserted my chopsticks, the juices oozed out promising a delicious taste. The texture was fluffy and the meat was full of flavor, complemented by the crunchy texture of the large pieces of onion. The rich and flavorful sauce added a nice touch to the hamburger and paired well with the rice. The vegetable soup was also delicious and I finished it all in no time. I felt that the overall portion size was a bit lacking, but as a big eater, I was satisfied with the deliciousness of the main dish, the hamburger. The restaurant has a chic atmosphere where you can enjoy a tasty hamburger in a relaxed setting. The fact that they have a parking lot was also convenient. "The rating of the shop during the visit was 3.06. Tokura, a popular hamburger shop in Kyoto, and its sister shop Takumi. I often stop by when I come to Kyotanabe. I always eat the same thing, hamburger and shrimp fry. The overflowing meat juice is not inferior in quantity to the main store. The sauce is brown in color and has a slightly mild taste, a little different from the main store but still good. The tartar sauce for the shrimp fry is a coarse mix. The rice here is hot, soft but firm, shiny, and fragrant. I was impressed by the rice after a long time. For reference, this rice seems to be cooked with local water from Jisui and Fugenji. Also, the salad vegetables are fresh and crunchy. It's easy to stop by with a parking lot and no queues. I will definitely come back here when I visit again."

Until 3:00 pm, lunch menu was available, so I chose the "Hamburg Steak and Shrimp Fry" from the options. You can choose the size of the hamburger from three sizes, which affects the price. This time, I ordered the largest size, the Jumbo 250g. The regular size is 150g with a price difference of 200 yen. The lunch came with salad, rice, and soup. It arrived in about 10 minutes. A plate with a hamburger, 2 shrimp fries, and salad was served. The soup and rice were served separately. When I put my chopsticks into the hamburger with plenty of demi-glace sauce, the juices burst out! It was overflowing. The juiciness reminded me of "Hamburg no Tokura" restaurant, which is a sister restaurant. The surface was crispy and well-cooked, while the inside was fluffy with a light texture. The sauce had a rich flavor that complemented the deliciousness of the hamburger. The roughly chopped onions added a nice touch. The sauce had a strong flavor, which paired well with the rice. The shrimp fry had a crispy coating with a plump shrimp inside, topped with tartar sauce. It was simply delicious. If you have a big appetite, the regular size might not be enough.
