Once again, I had a delicious bento lunch from Ajimino. This time, I placed my order over the phone a little before noon and picked it up freshly made in the afternoon. Today, I had a large serving of katsudon with fried chicken as a side dish. The fried chicken was delicious, but I found the katsudon a bit lacking in flavor. However, the katsu was crispy and tasty! I also ordered the fried chicken topping on top of my bento, which is a great option for those who enjoy hearty fried foods. And of course, the rice was served in a large portion as always. I made up for the lack of vegetables today with some supplements. For lunch, when there are no food shops nearby, I often rely on Ajimino's homemade bento. The shop is located a little past Makino Intersection in Fukuchiyama City, just across from Japan's number one taiyaki shop. Although the appearance may not be fancy, each dish is deliciously homemade by the mothers, and the free extra rice makes it wallet-friendly. Most menu items are priced at 550 yen and come with free extra rice. Sometimes, I even order the special large serving. Today's lunch included fried foods, salad, and simmered vegetables, providing a well-balanced meal. Bon appétit!
