The nearest Osho to my house is the Fukae Hama store in Kobe, but I had lunch at Osho in Kyoto after a long time. I visited a restaurant where they had a special menu item, Ankake Yakisoba, and I also ordered two servings of gyoza. I used a free coupon and paid around 1,000 yen. The Ankake Yakisoba was filled with plenty of ingredients, which was great for someone like me who needs more vegetables. The restaurant had a parking lot and the overall rating on Tabelog was 3.07.

There is a large parking lot across the street, so you can rest assured even if you go by car. I visited around 3 pm because I had lunch late due to work. I was very hungry, so I ended up ordering three servings of gyoza, but I ate them all easily! I also had some fried chicken, and when I sprinkled the magic powder (salt?) on it, it was so delicious! In Kyoto, where summer has arrived, I visited "Gyoza no Ohsho (Kyoto Ohsho)" after 25 days, which is having a "double stamp campaign" until November 30th. I ordered the popular "Gomoku Soba" for 605 yen, which has a salty soup base made from chicken bones with plenty of vegetables and seafood. I usually order this dish 3 out of 4 times when I visit Kyoto Ohsho. I also tried the "Stir-fried Pork and Egg" for 550 yen, a Chinese dish called "Moo Shi Rou" which includes pork, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, green onions, and lots of eggs. The quality of the dish can vary depending on the cook, but today's cook did a great job. I also ordered a medium rice for 176 yen and received a 7% discount as a premium member, saving 93 yen. The restaurant I visited was the medium-sized Jyonan-gu store, where you can see almost the entire kitchen as it is an open kitchen concept. The staff consisted of three male cooks and three female servers, but the atmosphere was a bit lacking as the servers did not respond to orders with enthusiasm. This aspect is crucial for creating a lively atmosphere, so maybe the lack of response is due to poor management by the store manager.

My friend wanted to eat gyoza from Osho, so we went to the Osho near my house. The restaurant is located along Route 1 and has a parking lot. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon past the lunch rush, so we were able to be seated right away. It had been 2-3 years since I last visited Osho. My friend ordered the Gyoza Set (double gyoza for 2 people) with stir-fried pork and leek. I ordered the rich ramen, mapo tofu (just the right size), and a single serving of gyoza. Our food arrived in about 10 minutes. The gyoza had the same delicious taste as always. The rich ramen was really flavorful with grated garlic mixed in. The Gyoza Set came with mini fluffy egg, double gyoza, rice, soup, and kimchi. My friend, who eats lightly, gave me her rice. The stir-fried pork and leek was tasty with a slightly strong flavor. After work, I went out for dinner with my colleagues! Since drinking and driving is not allowed, I quenched my thirst with non-alcoholic beer. We always order the Gokumon Chahan at Osho, and it's always delicious! I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so today I went for the just the right size Sweet and Sour Pork and Mapo Tofu. My colleague ordered the Gokumon Tenshinhan, Shrimp Chili, and two servings of dumplings. Just looking at it makes me feel full! I'll eat a lot and do my best at work tomorrow!

Today, while watching Finding Nemo that I recorded, I felt like enjoying some food and drinks. I suddenly thought of the Hoikoro I had at Osho the other day and decided to get it for takeout. It was ready in less than 10 minutes, thank you! I also bought a highball and some luxurious Kappa Ebisen at the convenience store on my way home. When I got back, Finding Nemo was just starting. I heated up the Hoikoro and served it on a plate. Then I got engrossed in watching Nemo. The Hoikoro was rich and delicious, with a crunchy and spicy miso cabbage that made me crave rice. The miso flavor was great too. The Kappa Ebisen that I snacked on while watching Nemo turned out to be surprisingly delicious. It was a fun Disney-like experience with a slight buzz from the highball. It's nice to have moments like this once in a while. It was a delightful meal. Thank you!
