After finishing the delivery nearby at lunchtime, I came across a place called "Takumi" that I had never visited before. The exterior looked like an old one-story building or warehouse, with a cost-effective design. Inside, there were only table seats, about 6 tables with 4 seats each. I ordered the domestic beef yakiniku bowl for 1,000 yen, and added egg soup for 300 yen. The decoration inside was a bit mismatched, but the food arrived. It took a bit long considering there were no other customers. The bowl had rice topped with thickly sliced high-quality beef in a sweet and spicy sauce that was quite spicy. The meat was fatty, with a side of tangy dipping sauce and pickled vegetables. The lunch menu was a good deal, but the portion size was a bit small, lacking in volume. I wish they included soup for the price. Overall, the meal was decent for 1,300 yen, but not for everyday use. Next time, I'll try the curry.

I went to a restaurant called Nikusho Etランゼ in Joyo series, which I didn't even notice despite being close by. It's located in a renovated warehouse, or rather a house. It took me a few months to notice the menu. Inside, you take off your shoes and enter a room with table seating for six. The menu includes dishes like yakiniku don, steak don (120g, 200g), chashu don, hamburger don, gyusuji curry, spicy meat miso don, and more. I ordered the yakiniku don, which came with cabbage pickles. The meat was tender and the seasoning was spicy and delicious, although I found the price a bit high. I plan to revisit and try the steak don next time!

This time I planned to have steak bowl, but ended up getting beef tendon curry. It was pretty normal, maybe I prefer bowl dishes after all. Oh, the curry also came with cabbage pickles. As for the taste, the tendon meat was tender and quite good. Last time I was worried if the restaurant could survive with only two groups of customers, but it seems to be doing okay now with a few more customers coming in. Most of the customers ordered the beef tendon curry. Maybe it's because of the price.
