Located on the 6th floor of the Joyful Sakana Koji Building, Miura CURRY operates as a sublease at BAR Shiro in Sapporo, Hokkaido. I stumbled upon this place by chance while dining with the new restaurant reviewer and decided to come back on a Friday or Saturday when they are open. The menu offers choices like Saba Coconut Curry, Chicken Tomato Curry, and Keema Curry, which can be mixed and matched in sets of one, two, or three. I opted for a two-curry set, priced at 1,400 yen. I chose the Saba Coconut Curry with a topping of free-range onsen egg. While waiting, the familiar scent of curry filled the air. The music playing in the background was JPOP, but I couldn't quite figure out the artist. The Saba Coconut Curry was rich and creamy, with the addition of the egg enhancing the coconut's mild sweetness. The combination of flaked saba and coconut was surprisingly delicious. The Chicken Tomato Curry, on the other hand, had a tangy tomato flavor with a spicy kick, complemented by the chicken. The healthy touch of pickled vegetables and various beans added to the colorful and nutritious curry experience.
