sicou-san.. Comfortable interior. The lighting is a bit dim with natural-style furniture. You can choose your coffee beans. There are also several types of sweets that go well with the coffee. They take about 5 minutes to carefully brew the coffee. You can take the coffee to go, but it seems like you can't park on the road in front of the shop. You can enjoy aromatic, flavorful coffee in a relaxed space. They have their own preferences but provide polite service. It seems suitable for both solo and date use ☕️ #sicou #Kyoto #KyotoCity #KyotoGourmet #KyotoSightseeing #KyotoTravel #Gourmet #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #WantToConnectWithKyotoLovers #DeliciousFood #WantToConnectWithFoodLovers #Foodstagram #Gourmetstagram #KyotoFoodHunting #KyotoCafe #KyotoSweets #KyotoCoffee #KyotoTakeout #NijoCastle #NijoCastleGourmet #NijoCastleCafe #HotelTheMitsuiKyoto #KyotoDate #KyotoSweetsTour #YassanGourmet #WantToConnectWithFoodLovers

I had lunch at a place I had been checking out for a while, so I decided to stop by. I went inside and ordered an iced cafe latte. They had a sign saying "no photos allowed inside the store." I asked if it was okay to take a photo outside, and they said it was fine. I took a quick photo outside and enjoyed my drink in the car. The cafe latte was really smooth and not too bitter, unlike other places I've been to. I really liked it! The atmosphere of the place was perfect for someone dining alone.

After having lunch at a popular cafe nearby, I visited for a coffee. It is located a little off from Horikawa Street, near the Ebigawa Street. The small, stylish shop is nestled in a residential area with an inconspicuous exterior that may not give away what kind of shop it is from the outside. The shop is run by a male owner alone. The interior is small, with a few 2-seater and 1-seater tables. The inside of the shop is all white, with natural wooden furniture. The interior decor is very stylish, simple yet distinctive. A very tasteful cafe. - Cafe au lait - Coffee and Nutella cake The cafe au lait was carefully made, with plenty of milk and a generous amount in one cup. The Nutella cake was rich and delicious. I should have had it with coffee instead of the au lait! It's a small shop but seems to be popular as customers kept coming in. With only one owner handling everything and brewing coffee very carefully, it seems quite challenging. Whether you can easily enter the shop may depend on the timing. It's a lovely place to relax, but they also offer takeout, so it might be nice to take it with you for a stroll.

With a white exterior and a modest sign that reads "coffee & antique," this cafe has a simple and bright interior with a touch of light wood. They sell a few antiques displayed on shelves. The coffee is hand-dripped using beans from Coffee County, known for their light roasts. I opted for a milky latte at ¥500. They don't serve food, only a limited selection of baked goods. The cafe does not allow photography inside, but you can take pictures of your drink. I'll try the baked goods next time!

An antique cafe with small baked goods nestled quietly in a residential area. It's so inconspicuous that you might miss it since there's no sign outside, but with the help of a map, I managed to find it. Please note that taking photos inside the cafe is not allowed. I tried their iced cafe latte for 500 yen and a rum raisin financier for 150 yen. The cafe latte had a strong coffee flavor, which I really enjoyed. The rum raisin financier, although small, was sweet and paired well with the latte. The interior of the cafe is small but cozy, perfect for enjoying a book in a quiet corner. The decor is chic and modern with a touch of warmth from the antique dishes and decorations. I would love to visit this charming cafe again.

Visited around 3 PM on July 2nd. Items received (prices forgotten): Cafe Latte, Kiwi Soda, Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jam Bar, Plum and Rum Cornmeal Cake. A stylish cafe nestled in a residential area, with a calm atmosphere and antique decor. It was raining that day, so the place was empty. The cafe is small. The Cafe Latte was milky, with a focus on quality coffee beans. The Kiwi Soda was delicious, made with fresh fruit and soda. The Peanut Butter and Raspberry Jam Bar was from a bakery in Osaka, moist and flavorful. The Plum and Rum Cornmeal Cake was moist and not too sweet, perfect with coffee. No parking, had to use nearby coin parking. Overall, a bit pricey but worth it. Would visit again when in the area.

On a day off, I went for a stroll with friends and visited this shop. The exterior is covered in white walls, creating a stylish atmosphere. Inside, there are white walls with wooden furniture and antique dishes. There are table seats, benches, and sofa seats. We placed our order at the counter in the back. We ordered the following items for takeout: Cafe au lait (hot) for 500 yen and Chai (iced) for 500 yen. It's nice that both hot and iced drinks are the same price. The beans are ground and brewed after you place your order. The taste is a gentle milk with fragrant coffee. The Chai has a strong cardamom flavor, making it spicy. It's slightly sweet, which I like. I thought it was a stylish cafe. Thank you for the meal.

I received information from a cafe friend and was looking forward to the opening. It is located on the east side of Nijo Castle, facing the Iigawa Street. With a wooden door and a small window, you wouldn't know what kind of shop it is without the small plate engraved with COFFEE & ANTIQUE SICOU. It's already starting to attract customers as it spreads on social media. They have a small Marzocco espresso machine and two Kalita drippers in the center. There are several types of sweets in the showcase. I chose the "Honduras" single origin out of about 4 types. The beans are from "Coffee County" in Fukuoka. I heard it was a medium roast, but it tasted more like a medium-dark impression with a sweet chocolate-like taste. There are sofa seats and stools, offering various types of seating. The lighting was impressive, with a beautiful harmony of wood, iron, and Japanese paper, creating an atmosphere like early evening in spring even though it was daytime. There are many cafes with antique spaces, but I think there weren't many coffee stands in the city. This place seems like it will be popular! Highly recommended.

The coffee was deeply roasted and had a strong chocolatey flavor. I wanted to try a Gâteau au Chocolat, but it wasn't in the display case, so it was probably sold out. I really wanted to try it.
